British Airways, often shortened to BA, is the flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom and the largest airline in the United Kingdom based on fleet size. When measured by passengers carried, it is second-largest in United Kingdom (behind easyJet). The airline is based in Waterside near its main hub at London Heathrow Airport. British Airways is a founding member of the Oneworld airline alliance, along with American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, and the now defunct Canadian Airlines.
British Airways liveries painted on Tenkuu Developers Studio (TDS) Boeing 787-8 and -9 Rolls Royce Trent 1000 model. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. “Military Base Tour – South Asia” (MFSA) continues the MILITARY FLIGHTS SERIES which includes “Military Flight Plans” (MF), “Military Flight Plans – Europe” (MFE) and “Military Base Tour – West Asia” (MFWA). In this segment there are 20 new flight plans in South Asia, starting in Kuwait, and moving on through India, Sri Lanka, Diego Garcia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and ending in Singapore. The landing and takeoff at Paro, Bhutan is particularly memorable. A complete Flight Briefing is provided for each flight. Also included are a MFSA ITINERARY and a “Military Flights Master Itinerary” which lists each flight in all four segments of the Series to date. There are a total of 87 flight plans, starting in the US, going down through Cuba & Central America, back to the US and Canada, and then over to Europe, West Asia and now this South Asia segment. The final segment, “Military Base Tour – Pacific Rim” is under construction and will return the series to Andrews in Washington D.C. and make the SERIES a “Round the World” trip. It is suggested that the pilot set up a new file Folder (or file in an existing Folder) to unzip the file “mfsa_flights.zip” to and store the .PLN and Flight Briefing files. The .PLN file can then be copied to the “Flight Simulator Files” to set up the flight, and the briefings printed and available for quick reference during the flight.

Textures for Jens B. Kristensens Bristol Britannia 300 model (BRT_V10.ZIP). These textures decipt Britannia 307 c/n 12921, built at Belfast as Britannia 305 destined for the U.S. Northeast Airlines. But not taken up she was delivered 1958 as Britannia 307 G-ANCE to Air Charter Ltd. London, the first airline founded by the famous aviation intrepreneur Freddy Laker. The aircraft made severall trooping flights between London-Stansted and Christmas Island in the Pacific via Goose Bay, Vancouver and Honolulu. Carrying up to 124 passengers, troops and service personal, in a journey time of 29 hours to the Island, which was used for the British nuclear test programme. The Britannia made many further trooping flights to the, at that time, numerous British overseas bases in the Gulf, Australia, Singapore, Ceylon, Canada and Hong Kong, carrying servicemen and their families. One of these flights reached around the world for 26 100 miles in 72 hours from London via Bahrain, Colombo and Singapore to Adelaide and Sydney, then to Christmas Island and back eastbound via San Francisco and Montreal to London.
G-ANCE went together whis sistership G-ANCD to British United Airways BUA in merger and was sold 1965, converted to freighter 307F, to Lloyd International, then 1972 to Monarch and 1974 to Aer Turas. Withdrawn from use in 1979 she was stored at Manston and later at Dublin, 1981 finaly broken up at Dublin.

This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas DC-4 VH-EDM of Qantas Empire Airways. This aircraft was built new for Western Airlines and entered onto the United States Aircraft Register as NC10203 - April 1946
It was sold to Australian National Airways in 1947 and entered onto the Australian Aircraft Register as VH-ANG. The aircraft was named 'Palana' (star).
It was sold to British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines in 1948 and reregistered as VH-BPD and renamed 'Discovery'. It was sold to Qantas Empire Airways in 1949, reregistered VH-EBM and renamed 'Philippine Trader'. It operated the inaugural Sydney - Darwin - Labuan - Hong Kong service as EM202 in June 1949
It was chartered by T.E.A.L. to operate the Melbourne - Christchurch (Harwood) - Melbourne service - June 29, 1951.
The aircraft suffered major nose damage whilst landing at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) on November 08, 1951, when the nose wheel collapsed during the landing roll, but it was repaired and returned to service.
It was sold to Zantop Air Transport Inc, Detroit, becoming N600Z in November 1959. It then went to Trans Mediterranean Airways of Lebanon in 1962 as OD-AEC. It crashed into the sea off Brindisi, Italy shortly after take-off on July 09, 1962, killing all six people on board. | Silloth Aerodrome plus Great Orton |

File Description:
RAF Station Silloth is a former Royal Air Force station located 1 mile (1.6 km) north-east of Silloth, Cumbria, England and 6.7 miles (10.8 km) south-west of Kirkbride, Cumbria. The station was used by RAF Coastal Command during WW2.
I designed this scenery primarily for my own pleasure using Airport Design Editor and FSX SDK. I use FSX Acceleration and Horizon VFR photo scenery but it should work with standard FSX SP2.
This scenery depicts the airfield as closely as i can get it with the available information. I have modelled all of the Airfield buildings as closely as I could with the information available to me and this was done using Sketchup, the models were then converted for use in FSX using Model converter X.
It is not 100% accurate and no claim is being made by the author that it is. I have depicted the buildings in wartime camo.
All the buildings can be used as as you wish. My only request is that if you should design better textures for them that you let me have a copy, my textures are pretty basic.
Some buildings have night lighting, lights and smoke effects, these should be in your FSX effects files already.
I have not yet completed the Domestic Site but i may do this in the future...(I've hit the buffers for now though!!)
Included in this scenery pack is the Satellite Airfield RAF Great Orton. Built in 1943 to accommodate the larger bombers now being used by the RAF. This airfield is very sparse as i am unable to get much info about it.
Runways, Taxiways, Watch Office and Ground Signals are all that is included in this scenery pack, along with Sloped flattens, crosswind runways and AGN files.
I have included this as a destination for the Bristol Beaufort AI aircraft that i have included with the scenery.
The Bristol Beaufort AI is a freeware model from Alphasim and is used with their permission. I have altered the model textures and aircraft file and it works well enough as AI.
I have used other scenery libraries within this scenery (mainly to depict the village of Silloth) and these will need to be downloaded from the appropriate sources and activated within FSX.

File Description:
Golovin is a coastal fishing village 70 miles east of Nome and around 20 miles west of Elim, with a population of under 200. The village is a check point on the Iditarod race and the name originates from a Russian admiral in the far distant past. The airfield has a gravel runway which is over 4,000 feet long; the older runway amid the village housing is still visible but not usable. The majority of flights to and from the airfield originate in Nome, but there are also others to and from nearby fields such as Elim, Unalakleet, Shaktoolik, and Koyuk. The AI includes a daily ERA flight. Most flights to villages of this size are in fact not "scheduled", but are "air taxi" being used by three or four villagers to go supermarket shopping in a larger neighbouring town, which in this case is Nome. In many cases the numbers of flights to and from a village in a year average out to one a day. There is a further scenery included here, which is Solomon AK26. Solomon is around 40 miles west of Golovin and from 1898 was suppporting a gold mining operation on the Fish and Niukluk rivers further inland at Council. Solomon, and the airfield which obviously came later, gradually faded from use in competition with Nome, leaving almost nothing behind at Solomon by the 1980's except a gravel runway and the nearby Solomon roadhouse. There are other buildings near the airfield which appear to be new and in good condition, but their function is unknown to me. The Solomon terrain modifications and grass deletion bgl's did not function until loaded in a "Top" folder; this is unusual, and may be required only in my FS9 setup or in all situations. I have no way of knowing as I can only design for my situation. A note here about my scenery making. This is post number 503 and there will not be many more to follow this as I am almost at the end of the photos I either took or found for scenery purposes. There is a limit to what can be located online and I have already been making use of the little there is; eg Unalakleet. Post 520 is unlikely. So, if you are near an airport (preferably Canadian or Alaskan) and have a camera..... Let me know.

This update includes improvements to the fuselage shape, addition of retractable wing floats using wheel farings, an improved but not custom panel, improved prop efficiency and more. The PBY Catalina is probably the best known flying boat with over 4000 produced by Consolidated aircraft and licensees. The Black Cat squadrons all done in flat black played havoc particularly for the Japanese in the Pacific. Fitted with radar, with a 15 hour endurance and 2800 mile range they hunted Japanese naval ships by night and bombed or torpedoed them by the hundreds up. There are 6 engine nacelles used in the model, 2 represent the 1200 HP radial engines driving the props, the others are jets with 5 lbs of thrust, 1 is used for the rear fuselage section, 1 is used for the wing pylon, 1 is used for the flare from the fuselage to the vertical stabilizer and the last is used for the forward observation and gunner space. Two are not used. Wing sections are taken up by the main wing and the support spars so there you go. The fuel tanks are used for the side gunner pods since these can be decorated separately. The plane flies very well and is stable as a rock. Takeoffs from water are quite easy as long as you don't dip a wing tip (no floats remember). | FSX/P3D Aloha Airlines DC-3 circa 1958 |

This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Aloha Airlines colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Aloha was founded in 1946 under the name of Trans Pacific Airways. With a single DC-3, they offered passenger charter and cargo services between the islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii. On February 11 1949 they officially became a scheduled service airline. Their main rival was Hawaiian Airlines, and in 1957 they changed their name to Aloha Airline to better compete against Hawaiian. In 1959 a modern F-27 joined the fleet, which forced the retirement of Aloha's aging DC-3 fleet by the mid 1960s. They also introduced the Viscount 745D in June 1961. BAC-111s were acquired in 1966. However, the British made airliners had limitations in the very humid environment of Hawaii, and in 1967 Aloha ordered 2 Boeing 737-200s with a further 6 in 1968 to replace the BAC-111s. The 737s were destined to become the workhorse of the airline, with over 60 being used by Aloha over the years. Their iconic "Flower Power" livery was unveiled in 1969, and was reintroduced in 2006 on one of their 737 as a retro livery. Due to heavy financial problems caused by various factors, Aloha unfortunately ceased operations on March 31 2008. This DC-3, N2804D, was leased by Aloha in the late 1950s. Textures are DDS DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

A high quality AFCAD2 for Honolulu Int'l Airport (PHNL). Only for use with the freeware scenery by Bill Melichar (honov5.zip). The file is built from scratch using the latest FAA charts, various photographs and information from the airport website, in order to be as near real as possible. All taxiways are named as per real life and runway lengths are 100% accurate. All Airline gates are named as per real life and have the correct airlines assigned to them. Using the crosswind runway technique, all runways are now active for use at the same time. The Air Freight Terminal, to the west of the airport is also featured, with parking assignments for the cargo carriers that use it. Hickham AFB parking is included, consisting of a Military Combat area, Military Cargo area and airline gates for troop charter flights. Maintenance parking for Air Pacific, Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian airlines jets can be found on the south ramp area. An extensive GA area can also be found on the south ramp, and can accomodate any privately owned aircraft ranging from Cessna to Boeing 747. It is recommended (but not necessary) that you also download the freeware "Hickam AFB" scenery by Derek and Brendan Webb (dbwsimhickam04.zip) as it greatly enhances the appearance of the Air Force Base. This file has been extensively tested and all AI flows as it should. New in this release are updated gate assignments for new airlines that recently started to serve Honlulu, plus updated parking for new cargo carriers. Previous version of this file had over 2000 downloads. Enjoy!!

This airfield is in one of the north-south valleys in the Columbia Mountains (which are part of the Rockies) on the border between BC and Alberta. The town of Golden (population just under 4,000) grew along with the Canadian Pacific Railway and the logging industry, both of which are still the mainstays of the town. Tourism is a more recent development along with the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, which is only 3 miles to the west of the town. There are occasional flights into CYGE related to the richer echelon of tourist groups for Kicking Horse, particularly at the weekends; three actual such flights are included in the AI. Golden CYGE is immediately to the west of the town beside the Columbia River, with the 4,500 feet of asphalt runway aligned 14-32; right hand circuits for 32. There are no runway lights or landing aids, and no taxiway lights, so this airfield is for daylight use only. There is a helicopter company based on the field (Alpine) and a volunteer search and rescue group, a skydiving operation at the northern end, plus an active club with a long open hangar with a club room. A friendly airfield. The AI helicopter was included in my post of Alma CYTF. The Beaver will not show up unless you have the Aerosoft Beaver installed. I found the other planes without a problem on flightsim or avsim. Due to the surrounding terrain AI aircraft will usually impact high ground before landing and then just show up on their parking spots. A northern wind improves but does not totally solve this.
