| Black Version of the Flight1 172R |
|
File Description:
This is a Black repaint of the Flight1 Cessna 172R for those secret missions you might have to do at night. It does have the call letters on the side. But in a very dark red to make it difficult to see.
I use the call letters "N826SA" when asked during install process..
Please download my blank modified template on AVSIM and start doing some repaints. I am very new at this and I am still having some problems with different areas of the paint jobs. Mainly the rudder and the right side of the plane. If you look at it at a certain angle you can see the reflective lines of the original Flight1 body stripe lines. Any suggestions on making it easier to do the repaints or solutions please email me below !

| Messerschmitt Bf 109G-2 "Black 6" |
|
File Description:
This is a repaint only for the Flight Replicas Bf-109G. This aircraft was fully restored to flying condition and operated for several years at Duxford and unlike every other flying 109G, Black 6 is a real "Augsburg Eagle". The aircraft was built in Leipzig in 1942 and saw brief service with JG 77 in Libya, flown by Lt. Heinz Ludemann. The aircraft, having been grounded due to damage, was captured by Bobby Gibbes and the RAAF with the allied push westward. It was Bobby Gibbes' plan to fly it back to Australia as a war prize but being that it was the first captured G model orders had it sent to Britain for RAF evaluation. The aircraft then was put into storage after the war, being brought out to the public from time to time - every September for Battle of Britain day. In 1991 it flew for the first time again since 1945. In 1997, while performing at Duxford, it was involved in an off-airport ground loop which caused major damage to the airplane but thankfully the pilot survived with very little injury. The aircraft was fully restored following the accident and now can be seen at the RAF Museum, Hendon.

|
File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". Alternatively, Eduardo Villanueva has repainted the fleet on FS2004 native models on Avsim as "citybird_fleet.zip". Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. As part of the AVSIM "Bush Flying in FS2002" feature, these 12 bush flying adventures (plus a bonus Antarctica adventure) can be downloaded and installed, allowing you to not only read about bush flying in FS2002, but you can experience it as well. These 12 adventure flights were developed with all levels (experience) of flight simmers in mind, as each flight is rated as to difficulty, from "easy" to "very difficult" and the aircraft used include: default Cessna Caravan (amphibian and wheeled Caravan), default Bell 206 helicopter, Bob Wening-Yannick Lavigne Supercub (redcub), Bob Wening-Ron Ackerley "Wilderness Outfitters" Supercub on floats, Yannick Lavigne-Fred Banting DHC-2 Beavers, and Steven Grant's de Havilland DHC-6 Twin Otter "Argentine Air Force Arctic"! The readme file includes detailed descriptions of each individual adventure and helpful hints for their successful completion.

| ARX-6 Roadrunner - Version 2 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The ARX-6 is a single-place Formula One pylon racing aircraft and is built to the specs of the International Formula 1 Air Racing association. Like all Formula One race planes, it is built around the Continental O-200. This is the same 100hp engine that barely powers a Cessna 150 to 100kts but on the small extremely lightweight and aerodynamic airframes of formula one racers the top aircraft can push 300mph. With very few instruments, and less than average ground handling, Formula One aircraft are very clean "no frills" machines that serve only one purpose - flying low, flying fast, and turning left. This all-new package created specifically for FSX includes 14 different schemes, custom sounds and panel. Aircraft and panel by Jason L. Terry. Sounds by Joseph Thompson. Additional schemes by Joshua B. Nyhus, Brady Duros and Mike Vivaldi

| Reducing FSX Ground Vehicle Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial |

Reducing FSX Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial
One of the more "interesting" enhancements which Microsoft introduced in FSX is the vehicle traffic which can be seen on the highways around larger cities and airports. However many simmers feel the speed at which these vehicles travel is considerably too fast and therefore quite unrealistic. One simmer has even commented that he cannot overtake many vehicles when flying low and slow in the default Cessna.
It is quite easy to edit the speeds of such vehicles and the process has been documented in at least one forum post. However I thought it might be useful - especially for those not accustomed to working with command line interfaces - to have a tutorial available which illustrates each step.
