Air Seychelles 1998 Flightplans

File Description:
In 1998, Air Seychelles was flying a 767-200, 767-300, and 3 DHC-6 Twin Otters in 1998 across Europe, Asia, and Africa. The Twin Otters do many daily 15 minute flights to FSPP, turning back around 15 minutes later. Because of this, AIFP warns that 100+ legs in a flightplan may cause errors. Seeing as 2 of these 3 Twin Otters do 135 legs per flightplan, I am not certain that the simulator will generate all of them. All paints are completed and in the Avsim library, details in the Read Me file.

Air Mauritius 1998 Flightplans

File Description:
Air Mauritius was operating a pair of ATR-42s and 767-200s as well as several A340-300s in 1998. Though few flights were operated more than once or twice weekly, the airline had a repetitively vast network for it's fleet size, serving points across Africa, several cities in Europe, India, and even Hong Kong. Michael Pearson has painted the whole fleet and is all right here in the Avsim library with further info in the read me.

Bellview Airlines 1998 AI Package

File Description:
Founded in 1989, Bellview was Nigeria's Lagos-based privately-owned carrier flying a pair of DC-9-32s and an A300B4-600R around West Africa but also onwards to Amsterdam and Mumbai. In addition to the scheduled flying, the A300 did public charters to LHR and GIG/GRU(rare treat for Brazil!) which have been included 1x weekly. The A300 keeps busy much of the time so it is actually not often sitting idle in Lagos, but it will spend most of Wednesday in London, Sunday evening/Monday morning in Mumbai, and a few hours in Amsterdam and Sao Paulo as well on Thursday. The airline went on until 2009 when it eventually went out of business. Repaints for the entire fleet included for the TFS A300B4-600R PW model and the AIG DC-9-30 model.

Zimbabwe Express Airlines 1998

File Description:
Zimbabwe Express was a short lived airline that was founded in 1997 when Air Zimbabwe had drastically scaled back domestic flights and filled in the gap. In 1998, the carrier was operating a 727-100 and a DC-9-30 that wore "Business Express" titles on one side and Zimbabwe Express titles on the other. The 727 was actually based in JNB and spends most of it's ground time there, while the DC-9 sits around HRE when it isn't flying. Around this time, Air Zimbabwe's Bae-146 was leased to Zimbabwe Express, though in my copy of the OAG, the Bae-146 was flying for Air Zimbabwe so it will not be included here. Includes repaints for the AIA 727-100 and the AIG DC-9-30.

Air Tahiti Nui 1998 Flightplans

File Description:
Air Tahiti Nui was founded in 1996 but started operations in November 1998, flying a single A340-200 3x weekly to LAX and 1x weekly to NRT. Several months later in 1999, scheduled charters began to Osaka and Nagoya as well on a weekly basis. I decided to include those 1999 flights so that this beautiful aircraft may be represented in more cities, but feel free to delete those flights in AI Flightplanner if you don't want to see them. Myanmar Airways International 1998 AI Flightplans

File Description:
Myanmar Airways International was the international counterpart of Myanmar National Airlines, operating two 737-400s to major Asian cities, including Kai Tak twice weekly. Note that these plans use "ZPPX" instead of "ZPPP", as a different airport was in use for ZPPP at the time which will be included with basic scenery eventually when China is completed in the 1998 project. Minebea operated a long DC-10-30C in a pax/cargo config as a corporate shuttle operating between Singapore and Tokyo, Los Angeles, and Bangkok.
