File Description:
Textures for Libardo Guzman's Electra model. L-188A Electra c/n 1039 original 1959 delivered to Ansett AL, 1972 converted to L-188AF freighter, after six different owners and leasers, she joined Amerer Air in Austria in 1996 and went 2006 to Buffalo AW in Canada as C-FBAQ. In 2012, badly damaged in a landing accident, the machine was rebuilt and has been used as a tanker since 2016 Aircraft can be found at: https://simviation.com/1/download-file?file=1-ELECTRA.zip&fileId=48728 Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model! I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not. Repaint by Manfred Meyer

Weather Center 2.1 Novice Edition

File Description:
Weather Center 2.1 is an advanced weather generation add-on module for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000/2002. Weather Center 2.1 features a completely re-engineered weather generation core that produces some of the most realistic, generated weather environments ever seen in Flight Simulator! The new, unique "I-Field" algorithm translates automatically downloaded Internet data into a dynamic weather environment based not only on the data from the nearest reporting airport (like Weather Center 1), but on all nearby airports, which all provide some piece of the overall weather scene generated around the aircraft! The Novice edition includes a 15-minute demo period each time it is started, during which all the Expert features are enabled. After the demo period expires, there is no requirement to upgrade to the Expert edition; however, the Novice edition continues to function indefinitely with a simpler weather generation algorithm with most new core features disabled.

Get Tower View V1.1

File Description:
After landing it would be fine to have an external view (like the tower view) available for the instant replay function. Unfortunately Microsoft FS leaves the tower where it is after starting the flight and it is a nasty job to locate the tower somewhere in the map view and move it to the desired position. GetTowerView is a simple tool to adjust the tower view relative to the current aircraft position after landing. It uses the freeware tool FDSConnection by Flight Deck Software (www.flightdecksoftware.com) (included) and the Delphi-SDK for FDSConnection by Alan Chan ([email protected]). FDSConnection.PDF is also inluded. The program was tested with FS2004 but may also work with FS2002. New features of version 1.1: - Added storage of custom tower view positions after landing in a drop-down list. - Fixed bug: Current settings were not stored in version 1.0, when shut down via FSUIPC.

File Description:
In July 2013, the Air Force began a fleet-wide technological upgrade of its B-52 bombers called Combat Network Communications Technology (CONECT) to modernize electronics, communications technology, computing, instrumentation, and avionics on the flight deck. CONECT upgrades include software and hardware such as new servers, modems, radios, data-links, receivers, digital flight deck and workstations for the crew. Making the B-52 compatible with 21st century flight and combat roles.
Items reworked for FSX/P3D:
1. True FSX Native modeling, converted to FSX using ARNO'€™s MDLX program.

Meridiana DC9-51

File Description:
**TEXTURES ONLY**. The DC9 brings a new aircraft fully compatible with FS2002. You will find that we've completely redone most of the model, making it completely Gmax. It features the latest reflection including dynamic shine, lighting, and animation technology including accurate flaps, landing gears, and thrust reversers and dynamic wing views. This is only the first in a line of MD aircraft. MD83 or 87. The FDE is the superb DC9 FDE by Sam Chin with modifications by Mike Baumann, and the model is by Jonathan Stewart and Erick Cantu. This aircraft is truly a multi-group effort, one of many to come. The model itself is evidenced of this. The fuselage, fins, engines, and landing gear are done by FlightFX. The wings, stabs, and aft fuselage section are by SGA. Textures by Erick Cantu and Mike Baumann.

Val-U-Prop VA: Ernest K. Gann's 1939 Route

File Description:
Taken from the pages of "Fate is the Hunter" this is Route AM-21 that Ernest K. Gann flew as a co-pilot and pilot in DC-2's and DC-3's in 1938-1940. Included are FS2002 ATC Flight Planner legs for the flight, as well as a text file with all headings, NAVAIDS, approaches and some life-saving tips for flying the route in bad weather. This can be used in any version of FS. Can be flown ATC or as a VOR flight with ILS's, or even as an NDB-only flight in keeping with the period. This is a multi-stop flight: Newark to Wilkes-Barre; to Syracuse; to Rochester; Buffalo; Erie, and finally to Cleveland. Each leg has a separate Flight Planner leg. An official Val-U-Prop VA flight.

The Ohio State University Airport (KOSU)

File Description:
The Ohio State University Airport (OSU) is one of the leading general aviation facilities in the nation, providing educational opportunities to university students and aircraft services to many of central Ohio's pilots and businesses. The OSU Airport is home to 230 aircraft, including single- and multi-engine, piston and turbine engine aircraft and rotorcraft. The OSU Airport oversees an estimated 100,000 operations per year, including corporate activity, student training, and pleasure flying. By comparison, the OSU Airport generally ranks in the top five airports in Ohio in the number of take-offs and landings with Cleveland Hopkins, Port Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati Lunken. This file includes enhancements to KOSU taxiways and aprons, adds additional airport scenery/buildings, and increases the available parking from 15 ramps in the stock FSX airport to over 180+ ramps (based on actual airport parking).

YAS Spitfire MkVb Russian "538"

File Description:
The YAS_MkVb(538).zip model is a completely revised model, with new revised AIR file. New textures, new Multi-resolution breakable model, and improved gunsight etc etc. Provision for 250Lb and 500Lb bombs. I've also included for a set of Checklists/ pilot notes. YAS_pack.zip required for panel/gauges/sounds. Based on a model Spitfire F MkVb, serial EP210, coded "538" to represent an aircraft from 57th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Red Army, Russia, early 1943. Britain sent 143 MkVb spitfires to Russia in March 1943. These were shipped to Basra (Iraq), re-assembled and flown to Russia via Iran. The VHF radios were replaced with the older Tr9 HF model, hence the additional aerial wire to the tail. This model represents one fitted with the RPK 10M Direction Finding aerial (DF loop behind main aerial mast).

Boeing B-29-1-BW 'Esso Express'

File Description:
An early olive drab representation of a Superfortress from building block #1 at Boeing-Wichita. 'Esso Express' of the 68th BG - 794th BS was used as a CBI fuel freighter. She flew fuel supplies from India to the Chinese B-29 bases across the Himalaya (the 'Hump'). Every Camel painted onto the nose, represents one successfully completed supply mission across 'the Hump'! This multi-resolution 3D model rendition of 'Esso Express' was built for CFS2 and is representing an earlier build cycle of Superfortress Mania. It will be updated to the latest 'standards'of Superfortress 'Mania' at a later time. Package contains a custom 3D model and a custom FDE (fastest and most lightweight B-29). Package does NOT contain gauges, 3D effect files, panel and sounds. Those are included/aliased in/to the base package of Superfortress 'Mania'. File 'B29B_910.zip' is required.

Boeing 747-200 General Electric CF6-50E2

File Description:
Ladies & Gentlemen, I'm VERY proud to present to you my General Electric CF6-50E2 soundset. After gaining experience in the field of sound-editing I decided to "upgrade" one of my older packages to today's standard :) That means this package is actually V2.0 of my Boeing 747-200 GE soundset. But don't be fooled, this isn't just a "revised" soundset. It's a completely NEW package, not a single sound remained untouched. The typical GE "multi-engine-whine" can finally hurt your ears in FS :P The soundset also includes APU & Internal Systems sounds to enrich the experience. My testbed was Project Opensky's awesome Boeing 747-200 model but the soundset can also be used with their 747-300 model. You can also equip the SGA DC-10s and the SGA or HNAC Airbus A300B2/B4s with this package. Enjoy!!
