Royal Norwegian Air Force Northrop F-5 Freedom Fighter for AI traffic. This cheap, small, and lightweight multi-role aircraft was meant for export from the start, and with 36 user countries it is the Western version of the MiG-21 in terms of proliferation. Late examples still serve in several air forces world-wide, nearly fifty years after its introduction. A 7-LOD re-build from Jake Burrus' original F-5 model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-5A, F-5B, and RF-5A in the service of the Royal Norwegian Air Force; with a total of 26 models and 81 repaints. Original aircraft model and textures by Jake Burrus, re-build by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

FSX McDonnell Douglas DC-10-15 air charter 4-pack repaint textures for the
freeware Thomas Ruth/Eric Cantu McDonnell Douglas DC-10 series. I use the
updated for FSX with VC models multi-pack (tomdc10.zip), which includes the -10,
-15, -30, and -40 models. With plenty of life left before heading to the boneyard,
these DC-10's are pressed into service with four small time mom and pop charter
operators... Charterlink America, Holiday Alaska Charters, Honolulu Aero Charter,
and Tropicanada Island Tours. These repaints work with any of the four Ruth/Cantu
model variations, I just chose the -15 as my painting platform. Also includes
engine exhaust smoke coordinates for FSX which you can add to your various model's
"aircraft.cfg" files if you wish. Screenshots enclosed. Easy installation.

| How to correctly use SimConnect in standalone applications in C++ |

File Description:
This is an article and a demonstration program for programmers.
This article describes the correct way to create a Windows application that uses SimConnect functions as C++ classes. "The correct way" involves the creation of a multi-threaded application with the exchange events between the main and working threads and encapsulation of the client thread, functions and structures of the SimConnect library in C++ classes.
Paying attention to points of principle, the process of creation client application is described. Some original solutions of the wrapping of the functions and data structures were applied. Detailed comments are present. The executable file is absent in the archive due to license restrictions. You can build it from the source code. There is a project for Visual Studio 2010 in attached archive.

Swedish Air Force Saab J-37 Viggen (Part 2). The Viggen was designed as a Cold War-era multi-role fighter, and proved itself throughout its career to be versatile in air superiority, attack/strike, antiship, and recce roles. First flying in 1967, with 329 aircraft built, the Viggen served the Flygvapnet (Swedish Air Force) for 34 years. I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring another Cold War icon to the flightsim world. This second of two package represents the AJS-37 (strike), JA-37D (air superiority), AJSH-37 (maritime recce/antiship), and AJSF-37 (recce), and SK-37E (2-seat EW variant) in the service of the Swedish Air Force, with 23 models and 90 repaints. | National Airlines Republic Rainbow RC-2 |

File Description:
The Republic Rainbow was a proposed commercial version of Republic's military XF-12/XR-12, a high speed recon plane developed at the end of WW2. With four Pratt & Whitney R-4360 engines, a top speed of 462 mph, and a service ceiling of 45,000 feet, the Rainbow boasted outstanding performance for its day. The Rainbow had one of the highest power to weight ratios of any multi-reciprocating-engine airplane. It could maintain a sea-level rate of climb of 1,680 feet per minute on three engines and 320 feet per minute on just two engines. Although several airlines initially ordered the Rainbow, due to a changing business climate it proved too expensive compared with airliners such as Douglas' DC-6 and no prototypes were ever built.

Complete revision of previous "Casorezzo" scenery, realized on the real coordinates of the airfield including some buildings to real image. This review includes photo-realistic terrain multi-seasons/night. It requires the use of the "dva51" libraries and the "TreePlanter" system for vegetation; it is also realized with West Europe Elevation Meshes by Daniele Lanfranchi. Information: It represents the airfield "Air Folies" for ultralight of Casorezzo (MI), for trikes and other ultralights. Scenery contains a terrain 7x8 km, from Olcella (NW) to Parabiago west (NE), from Marcallo con Casone (SW) to Vittuone west (SE).
The airfield is located at 20 km NWW Milan, in the municipality of Casorezzo (N45.533199, E8.900685); grass runway of 280 m; Code: MICA. Enjoy!

File Description:
FSAutoStart allows the user the ability to automatically shutdown services and programs to provide as much resources to running today’s most demanding applications. It also provides the ability to launch selected programs before the application is launched. Lastly, it can automatically restart those programs and services previously shutdown, thus bringing the computer back to its original state. It also adds some performance enhancing options like Defragment Memory.

• Made code to start/stop programs and services multi-threaded for faster execution
• Added a few more descriptions for possible error messages when starting/stopping services
• Fixed bug that caused crash in GUI when loading a profile with a filename longer than 20 characters

| Scenery Objects - Rwy 12 scenery Level 2 |

[File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM] This pack contains the standard scenery objects for the Rwy12 scenery generation program by Israel Roth and Seev Kahn and is specifically issued for the benefit of the end users of my add-on scenery series, although there is no reason why it will not work equally well with any other sceneries designed using this software. Most other designers have stated that the end user MUST download the massive 45 MB full program but this is not only pointless and unnecessary, it is not in accordance with the recommendations of Israel and Seev. Furthermore, the obligatory automatic installation programme is flawed and only works correctly if you have Flight Simulator 2004 installed to the default directory.
This pack of scenery objects addresses all of these issues, and all of my scenery sets will work with or without it - with three possible levels of scenery detail:
Level 1 - the airport scenery will only use Microsoft's default scenery objects (no extras require to be installed).
Level 2 - the airport scenery will additionally display all standard Rwy 12 scenery objects (Fedex vehicles, static GA aircraft, people and trees.
Level 3 - the airport scenery will additionally display third-party Rwy 12 objects.
The latter will require separate download and installation will be detailed in my scenery sets.

L-188A Electra c/n 1039 original 1959 delivered to Ansett AL, 1972 converted to L-188AF freighter, after six different owners and leasers, she joined Amerer Air in Austria in 1996 and went 2006 to Buffalo AW in Canada as C-FBAQ. In 2012, badly damaged in a landing accident, the machine was rebuilt and has been used as a tanker since 2016

Attention, the large cargo hatches cannot be opened on the Guzman model!
I recommend using Fraser McKay's excellent panel (FML188AP.zip available at Flightsim.com) including the config. and air. files supplied with this panel package. These provide exact aircraft's characteristics and enable certain systems to function correctly, which those provided with the original model may not.

Weather Center 2.1 is an advanced weather generation add-on module for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000/2002. Weather Center 2.1 features a completely re-engineered weather generation core that produces some of the most realistic, generated weather environments ever seen in Flight Simulator! The new, unique "I-Field" algorithm translates automatically downloaded Internet data into a dynamic weather environment based not only on the data from the nearest reporting airport (like Weather Center 1), but on all nearby airports, which all provide some piece of the overall weather scene generated around the aircraft! The Novice edition includes a 15-minute demo period each time it is started, during which all the Expert features are enabled. After the demo period expires, there is no requirement to upgrade to the Expert edition; however, the Novice edition continues to function indefinitely with a simpler weather generation algorithm with most new core features disabled.
