| Fokker 60 - Dual display panel |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
A new dual screen combined Pilot and First Officer panel for use with two panoramic displays. New Fokker 60 Flightdeck panel provides user with either a freeware Delco Inertial Navigation System or a Bendix/King Navigation Management system and allows for switching between Pilots and First Officers position. The panel configuration design is using a new approach to the operation of the aircraft from the Pilot and First Officer seat. Flying as a First Officer is set up such that the the instumentation and panel is presented on your Left panoramic screen. This is done to allow for a proper presentation of the runway while landing or taxiing. The panel size has been adjusted to be more in line with widescreen displays. Numerous additional changes have been introduced to make the panels more user friendly.
This flightdeck panel is based on the standard Fokker 60 payware version published by Precisionaerobus and installation of this Fokker aircraft in your Flightsim program is a prerequisite as Pecisionaerobus original gauges are not provided with this file.

| A.V.I.A. L.3 (Part 1) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The L.3 was a partially failed attempt to create a very simple and cheap monoplane trainer, better suited to the entire basic training syllabus of Regia Aronautica pilots from 1940 onwards. This open cockpit version was also adopted for 'lead in' training, by the Croatian Air Force, and eventually the Luftwaffe, and by the A.N.R. for assault glider pilot training. Some also served as 'unit hacks' during WW2. Full details are in the supplied contextual history.
This release (Part 1) provides two open cockpit MDLs, with different landing gear, many relevant liveries, a combined contextual history of both the open and closed cabin versions, and an illustrated Student Training Manual to allow realistic simulation of the wartime Axis 'lead in' training syllabus. The Part 2 of this release will later feature the enclosed cabin version.
VC only. It also works subject to some limitations within in FSX. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa, Flight dynamics by FSAviator. By Manuele Villa/MVG3D, January 2015.

| PASY - Shemya (Eareckson Air Station) - Alaska, USA |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Shemya is pretty well AT the western end of the Aleutian chain of islands in Alaska, around 240 miles west of Amchitka. There is no town on Shemya and the whole island is occupied (and owned) by the Air Force. There are three runways, two of which are from the 1940's and are now unused; in fact one of them has been partly ploughed up and also used for outdoor storage. The single in-use runway is aligned 10-28 and is 10,000 feet of 150 feet wide asphalt with an ils on 28, the runway that is used 99% of the time. The base is now not active but is maintained as a refuelling facility, so for landing and takeoff purposes it is open. The older and now unused areas are those where the hangers are slowly rusting away and the asphalt is turning green with encroaching and well-watered wildlife plants. The tower is now closed, so there is no atc and you just announce your intentions. Read the history of Shemya, a lot happened there.

| RAF Melbourne - Yorkshire, England. |
|
File Description:
RAF Melbourne was a Royal Air Force station typical of the expansion period of the Second World War. Located 5 miles to the South-west of Pocklington, Yorkshire, England. The nearest village is Seaton Ross.
East Common just outside the village of Seaton Ross was requisitioned for use as a grass airfield in November 1940. In late 1940 the airfield was used by Armstrong Whitworth Whitleys of 10 Squadron as a relief landing ground for RAF Leeming. The airfield soon closed for re-development as a standard Bomber Command airfield with three concrete runways and three hangars.
In May 1945 the airfield was transferred to RAF Transport Command and 575 Squadron moved in with the Douglas Dakota. The squadron only stayed for a few months operating transport flight to and from continental Europe. With the departure of the Dakota a number of specialised Flights used the airfield for six months but by the middle of 1946 the airfield was no longer used for flying.

File Description:
Boeing 747-200 in Continental Airlines' newest livery. This FSDS aircraft model, by Hiroshi Igami & Mitsushi Yutaka of Project Open Sky, has a 48-sided based Variable Sided Fuselage (POSKY Original Technique), fully animated spoilers, elevators, rudders, flaps, ailerons, thrust reversers, and engine fan blades. This 747-200 has detailed landing gears, including tilting boogies and detailed gear bays. It also includes highly detailed night lighting, with flashing beacons, strobes, and other lights along with night textures plus transparent cockpit windows with 3D pilots. Flight Dynamics (FDE) by Warren C. Daniel, 747 data and FDE advice given by Simon Ng Hin Tat. Aircraft and FDE tested by Project Open Sky members, master textures by C. Vincent Cho & Gary Hayes. These textures here are an adaptation of my Continental 747-400 NC (Newest Livery) textures, modified to fit the 747-200 model. These aircraft textures are very accurate and include several photorealistic parts. They are based on a former Continental 742, N18025, which sadly, is now sitting out in the desert rotting.

This FSDS aircraft model, by Hiroshi Igami & Mitsushi Yutaka of Project Open Sky, has a 48-sided based Variable Sided Fuselage (POSKY Original Technique), full moving spoilers, elevators, rudders, flaps, ailerons, thrust reversers, and engine fan blades. This 747-400 has detailed landing gears, including tilting boogies and detailed gear bays. Flight Dynamics (FDE) by Warren C. Daniel, aircraft and FDE tested by Project Open Sky members, master textures and Paint Kit by Hiroshi Igami. These textures are 100% hand painted, very detailed and accurate with the reference of several high quality photographs found at Airliners.Net along with fuselage and tail shine applied. Thanks to Gary Hayes for providing the Singapore Airlines font. This aircraft was delivered back in 1993 to Singapore Airlines and is still in service with SQ now. SIA had the words '1000th Boeing 747' painted near the nose of the jumbo because this was the 1000th 747 Boeing had built.

| Lockheed Hercules C130J (v.2) |
|
File Description:
The Lockheed C130 J Hercules is the newest version of the trusty military transport aircraft. With its six-blade propellers and more powerful engines, it can fly higher, faster and further than any previous Hercules. This is my second version of this aircraft (with more than 11 000 downloads of the first one) with an all-new FSDS model. It features animation of all control surfaces, landing gear and propellers; full lighting effects; opening front door and rear cargo ramp as well as a pilot getting into- and out of the aircraft as it takes off and a flight attendant opening and closing the front door. The panel is a photo-realistic rendition, designed from photographs downloaded from the Lockheed-Martin website. It includes a Heads Up Display ("HUD"), WORKING radar unit and Multi Function Display ("MFD") for the engine-instruments ("EICAS"). A sound pack is also included. An experienced Hercules pilot checked the flight dynamics to ensure that flying this aircraft is AS REAL AS IT GETS!

Generic Advanced Customized Panel. Since this panel includes All XML gauges for
2-, 3- and 4 engines aircraft, it can be used for any heavy jet. Also you have 3 Choices, between the metal gray color panel (old Boeing) or the brown color of the FS2002 boeing default and the feeling to be in a Airbus (PFD of A380). All gauges are on the same place in the 3 different engine version or airplane, no more memorizing the different panels. It has a full working overhead, TCAS radar, ATC control, customized FS2002 GPS, ACS-GPS, APU, FMC, HUD, Wiper and many custom xml gauges. Special attention is made on the Radio, Fuel, PFD, Clock, Taxi speed control, Wind speed, Bank rate, Auto mb-Hg, Push back, and Sim speed. A lot of information during take off, flight and landing.
