File Description:
Factory Field (my name for it) is in Quebec on highway 321 a few miles north of St Andre Avellin, and 40 miles ENE of Ottawa. The runway is 3,500 feet long and asphalt and went out of regular use in the early 1990's when the airfield was closed. It was sold in 1995 to a company (ELP) that has built up a factory for manufacturing and fitting snow ploughs and other pneumatically operated equipment to trucks, and who now use the runway for testing their snow ploughs. In between times, as it is not marked closed with an "X", it is also occasionally used by customers who fly in, usually to get the drivers there to take delivery of completed trucks. The surface is good and there are no obstructions but also no markings, though with 3,500 feet of 100 feet wide asphalt there is plenty of space and it doesn't much matter.

File Description:
This is a US Air Force SC-54 in the colors of the Military Air Transport Service. This aircraft was used in search and rescue operations and wears the day glo colors typical of air force transports of the period. MATS was a joint service transportation operation combining resources from the Air Force, Army and US Navy into a single coordinated airlift command serving all military branches.
The updated repaint is highly accurate with the exception of the fact that the real aircraft had large blister windows on both sides of the fuselage. I tried creating these with artwork, but its going to take a MDL change to fix! Maybe Jens will be able to address one day!
This skin requires the Jens B. Kristensen JBK DC-4 file (dc4_v21.zip) AND the C-54 cargo version (dc4cgv21.zip). These files may be found on this and other popular FS web sites. You MUST have the cargo version installed.

| Chatham Islands for Vector Land Class New Zealand |

File Description:
This project is a modified version of the Chatham_Islands.zip project which allows my landclass and airports to work seamlessly with the free Chatham Islands scenery available from Vector Land Class New Zealand. This package allows the user to switch back and forth easily between the different scenery combinations and also provides standalone Chatham and Pitt Island airports which can be used with the Vector Land Class (VLC) scenery on its own. It also allows the user to take advantage of the 15m terrain mesh and added water detail that comes with the VLC scenery. A modified Pitt Island AI runway is also included that is compatible with the 15m mesh. Chatham Islands/Tuuta Airport (NZCI), Napier (NZNR), and the Pitt Island Airstrip (NZPI) are included here. Scenery was created using Airport Design Editor X v1.47.07, SBuilderX 3.13, and the FSX Object Placement Tool. Scenery objects were added and modified from stock FSX scenery to resemble as closely as possible the actual airports.

The scenery is being re-uploaded,removing all bugs in the previous version. no more nuisance created by 3d objects by popping up at KSEA Runway 34R.

TMLE was designed to make the use of High Definition and Super High Definition textures easier. By default, FSX's maximum texture resolution is set to the 1024x1024 scale. TMLE can modify this to 2048x2048, and even 4096x4096, allowing you to take full advantage of HD textures. TMLE is not available in very many places these days, as the original Frosty Software website is no loner active. One day, a friend asked me if I had the original installer exe. Fortunately, after some searching on my hard drive, I was able to locate it. The idea came to us that it would be cool to make TMLE available to the public again, but not before contacting the original author. I contacted Steve Frost and he was kind enough to grant me permission to upload it. A huge thanks goes out to him for the permission and for developing such a simple, yet useful tool!

File Description:
Seiser Alm, is the largest high altitude Alpine meadow in Europe. Located in Italy's South Tyrol province in the Dolomites mountain range, it is a major tourist attraction, known for skiing and hiking.
This is a simple fun creation of a real world R/C sailplane and Para gliding site in the Italian Dolomites. There is no airport, no flatten so you must exercise caution when landing a STOL aircraft or sailplane. I have landed many types here including sailplanes and the FSDS Porter as well as a Cessna 185. The nearest real world airport is LIPD Bolzano. There are two landing areas represented one high is the actual site where R/C sailplanes with wingspans of up to 10 meters are launched into the air, as well as paragliders. .The lower field is a bonus area with a nice flat area for easier landings and take offs. It is the real world site of a famous ski lodge and resort.(look for the Chalet!)

File Description:
The Caribou was designed as an aerial transport "truck". It was not used by the Royal Canadian Air Force in great numbers, but had success in the export market. Nine were purchased for the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1960 for use in Canada's United Nations contribution with 117 ATU. They were also assigned to 102 Composite Unit (KU) and was redesignated to 424 Squadron, at CFB Trenton, shortly after unification. The only loss was to a strafing Pakistan Air Force F-86 while on United Nations duty. In June 1971, the surviving eight were withdrawn and sold to the Tanzanian Air Force.
The Caribou was due to have a new serial range beginning with 10801 retaining the last-two digits of the prior serial in 1970. As the type was to be withdrawn by June 1971, this did not take place and the old range of 5303 and 5320 to 5327 was maintained.

Saab 340B Freighter Complete ...
Two variations - actually a very slight difference between the two ..
one is a factory version ... meaning that there were never any window ports cut in.
The second is a "in field" conversion ... meaning that a former passenger version was converted to pure freight with the outlines of the ports still visable as "plugs were used to blank out the windows.
Pictured are the two versions painted for my freight service, however both textures included are "blank" ... without any markings or "N-numbers" - ready for you to customize to your liking. The one photo I found at the official Saab site was of the Factory Version which had the word CARGO emblazened on the side... I skipped that part, figuring once in service, the lack of windows would be a pretty good clue that it was a freight only. Pilots and ground crews are pretty smart ladies and gentlemen... and they tend to be quick on the up-take.

Months after divorcing itself from East Africa Safari Express, Jetlink Air aka Jetlink Express has seemingly made an absolute resolve to edge out competitors and take the lion's share of the local and regional market. It has taken over the regional operations of former East African Safari Express Air. The company which currently operates jets to Juba in Sudan, Lokichogio, in Northern Kenya, and Kisumu in western Kenya will commission new jets, the only ones of their kind in Africa on the Goma and Entebbe routes, according to its Managing Director, Captain Elly Aluvale. The aircraft of the repaint was built in September 1985 and was initial delivered to Piedmont Airlines. Later it becomes a US Airways and Horizon Airlines jet until it was exported to Kenya's Eagle Aviation (regn 5Y-MNT). Over East Africa Safari Air it finally came to Jetlink Air. Texture only. Fuerza Aerea Argentina C-47A-90-DL T-20,C/N 20158 builded by the Long Beach production plant for the USAAF as 43-15692.Ex NC60942,Aerolineas Argentinas LV-ADF,and latter with the FAA also as TC-20.Saled to Chile, preserved today as CC-CLK with the Museo Nacional de Aeronautica de Chile.The Fuerza Aerea Argentina take the first 16 C-47s in service in 1947;by 1966 Aerolíneas Argentinas DC-3 were retired of service and taked in charge by the Fuerza Aerea Argentina inventory.Not less of 38 C-47s were listed with the FAA fleet. Some planes were latter transfered to Bolivia and Paraguay. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont,original textures are by Jan Visser.Repainted by Daniel Nole.In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 and the MAAM-SIM D-Day C-47 'Skytrain' and Dakota Mk III Expansion Pack installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.
