File Description:
Golovin is a coastal fishing village 70 miles east of Nome and around 20 miles west of Elim, with a population of under 200. The village is a check point on the Iditarod race and the name originates from a Russian admiral in the far distant past. The airfield has a gravel runway which is over 4,000 feet long; the older runway amid the village housing is still visible but not usable. The majority of flights to and from the airfield originate in Nome, but there are also others to and from nearby fields such as Elim, Unalakleet, Shaktoolik, and Koyuk. The AI includes a daily ERA flight. Most flights to villages of this size are in fact not "scheduled", but are "air taxi" being used by three or four villagers to go supermarket shopping in a larger neighbouring town, which in this case is Nome. In many cases the numbers of flights to and from a village in a year average out to one a day. There is a further scenery included here, which is Solomon AK26. Solomon is around 40 miles west of Golovin and from 1898 was suppporting a gold mining operation on the Fish and Niukluk rivers further inland at Council. Solomon, and the airfield which obviously came later, gradually faded from use in competition with Nome, leaving almost nothing behind at Solomon by the 1980's except a gravel runway and the nearby Solomon roadhouse. There are other buildings near the airfield which appear to be new and in good condition, but their function is unknown to me. The Solomon terrain modifications and grass deletion bgl's did not function until loaded in a "Top" folder; this is unusual, and may be required only in my FS9 setup or in all situations. I have no way of knowing as I can only design for my situation. A note here about my scenery making. This is post number 503 and there will not be many more to follow this as I am almost at the end of the photos I either took or found for scenery purposes. There is a limit to what can be located online and I have already been making use of the little there is; eg Unalakleet. Post 520 is unlikely. So, if you are near an airport (preferably Canadian or Alaskan) and have a camera..... Let me know.

| LJSceneGen V 1.0 |

File Description: LJSceneGen is a scenery creation utility for the Microsoft (MS) Flight Simulator FS9 (aka FS2004 or Century of Flight). The program presents a series of forms where various options for VORs, NDBs, Exclusion Rectangles, Markers, Waypoints and Scenery Library objects can be entered. The program will try to connect FS9 via FSUIPC or WideFS. If a FSUIPC connection is found, the location (Lat. Long. and Alt and others if available and appropriate) will be automatically retrieved. You can also move the aircraft to a new location by entering a Lat. and Long. pair and clicking "Move Aircraft". Multiple combinations VORs, NDBs, Exclusion Rectangles, Markers, Waypoints and Scenery Library objects can be saved and each saved object can be edited. After all the desired objects are created, an XML file can be created. This file can be submitted to the FS2004 SDK BGL compiler "BGLCOMP.exe". A file with an extension of .BGL will result which you then place in your Addon Scenery/scenery/ folder to view your just created scenery object(s) after you restart FS9. This or other properly formulated .XML scenery files can be imported and reviewed. For example, the FS9 file NVNAMC0.bgl can be decompiled, imported into LJSceneGen and then viewed. Alessandro Antonini's excellent BGLXMLdecompiler program makes possible the conversion from NVNAMC0.bgl. to NVNAMC0.xml which can then be read by LJSceneGen. (This file is available at Alec's site: http://www.cpinf.net ). Each VOR and NDB found in this decompiled xml file can be reviewed and if you want, you can move your aircraft to the object's location by clicking "Move Aircraft". This program is written in MS's C# language using .NET framework 1.1. The CLR .NET Framework 1.1 must be installed on your computer before the program will run. The freeware version of Pete Dowson's FSUIPC is not supported. Users should be very familar with the FS2004 scenery SDK. This version only knows VORs, NDBs, Exclusion Rectangles, Markers, Waypoints, and Scenery Library objects. It doesn't yet know about Airports Runways ILSes etc. This is not a "What You See Is What You Get" program but instead takes a semi-automated fill-in-the-blanks approach. The program is a scenery creation utility. As such, inexperienced scenery designers may not find it user friendly.

Continuing my new free releases for this year, here is my London 2004 scenery package that I designed for my personal
use but now I want to share it with the community. I have had numerous requests to do more cities and airports so this is my third scenery for 2004. Being the lazy
person I am, no research was done and no claim to real life cities and airports is intended or implied.
I have added many objects to the airports and cities including terminals, hangers, buildings, castles, city scapes and
other fun and interesting things. All of which were culled from all the wonderful designers in the X-Plane Community
such as B. Brooks & Christian Franz, Ted Davis, Tom Curtis, Ralph Glass, Tim Chandler, Didier Chauveau and all the
other hard working and exceptionally talented designers who have inspired me. Many thanks to each of you for your
contributions to the X-Plane community.
Like all my scenery packages, the additions to the citys and airports are purely fictional. The airports themselves are
unaltered. I have enhanced London Heathrow (EGLL), London Gatwick (EGKK), London City (EGLC) airports and of
course the city of London . A special thanks to Robert Bunce for his NYEXPRO packages and Ken Spiker for his
KWIKCITIES package. If I inadvertently left out other objects and scenery designers, it was purely unintentional and I
offer my apologies.
All airports and cities come with Night Textures. Flying at dusk and dawn will add additional enjoyment to your
experience. You may want to experiment with your Autogen settings for best results. I turn mine way down in the
rendering settings so that autogen buildings don't sit on top of custom objects and roads. It will improve framerates as
well.
Installation: Place the extracted "London 2004" folder into your "Custom Scenery" folder. I have included apt.dat files
for v6.70 and v7.30. Keep the apt.dat file for your particular XP version. Apt.dat files are different formats for v6 and v7.

| Atlantic City International Airport (KACY), NJ |

Located 09 miles NW of Atlantic City, New Jersey on 5000 acres of land, Atlantic City International Airport is a major airport serving the southern portion of New Jersey. It is also one of the main gateways for tourists looking to vacation in nearby Atlantic City, famous for its boardwalks and casinos. This airport has been very heavily modeled with many surrounding buildings and all aprons properly placed. Gates are all properly located and labeled according to the terminal chart (there are, however, no jetways like in the default scenery). General Aviation parking is available in its proper area � all aircraft in the parking area (middle of the tarmac) have collision disabled. If you select Military Cargo parking you will start on one of the helipads in the Coast Guard section. If you select Military Combat parking you will start next to the line of F-16s on ready-alert over on the Air National Guard tarmac. You can also start on a helipad north of the airport. This airport also features completely custom taxiway line and edge lighting. Because this airport uses ATC, it suffers the same bug as my KEWR airport, which is that you cannot receive taxi in directions from ATC � to gate, parking or fuel. Almost all arriving AI aircraft will also disappear from the taxiway after radioing in to ATC and failing to receive taxi instructions to the gate/parking. All traffic and instructions taxiing out works fine. All gate parking spaces have fuel, as well as the military parking and north helipad. GA aircraft can get fuel by taxiing over to the fuel station north of the GA tarmac. Taxiing onto a closed runway (marked with an �X�) will cause a crash. Broken-down taxiways are not good for your undercarriage!

It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

File Description:
Located 02 miles N of Caldwell, New Jersey on 275 acres of land, Essex County Airport is a public airport with two asphalt runways, the longest of which is 4552'. Major changes include Runway 9/27 updated to the current 10/28; Runway 4/22 markings are custom made to match the real world, with threshold stripes on Runway 22 only; the beacon has been relocated to its real world location atop the control tower. Additionally, 221 parking locations have been accurately placed around the airport, broken up into 6 sections. See the included airport diagram that labels the various parking areas. 89 of these parking spaces are labeled RAMP_GA and these spaces are occupied by static aircraft. Collision with all static aircraft is disabled but still, if you do not want to start occupying the same space as another airplane, do not choose parking spots labeled RAMP_GA. Instead, all user aircraft should choose either RAMP_GA_SMALL (for wingspans up to 40') or RAMP_GA_MEDIUM (for wingspans up to 60' and only available in East Parking). Also, only 86 of these parking spaces are available for AI aircraft to spawn in. There are hangars available to transient aircraft: the two in South and Southeast parking are able to accommodate small craft with wingspans up to 40'; the one in Northeast parking is able to accommodate larger aircraft with wingspans up to 54'. Helicopters can start either on Taxiway P (South helipad), Taxiway N (North helipad) or in front of the main terminal (East helipad). Fuel is available in both the East and South parking areas by stopping anywhere on the concrete next to the fuel tank/pump. Take note that the runway patterns are both Left and Right and the pattern altitude varies for aircraft type. There are known issues with the AI for this airport, see the ReadMe for more details.

| Silloth Aerodrome plus Great Orton |

File Description:
RAF Station Silloth is a former Royal Air Force station located 1 mile (1.6 km) north-east of Silloth, Cumbria, England and 6.7 miles (10.8 km) south-west of Kirkbride, Cumbria. The station was used by RAF Coastal Command during WW2.
I designed this scenery primarily for my own pleasure using Airport Design Editor and FSX SDK. I use FSX Acceleration and Horizon VFR photo scenery but it should work with standard FSX SP2.
This scenery depicts the airfield as closely as i can get it with the available information. I have modelled all of the Airfield buildings as closely as I could with the information available to me and this was done using Sketchup, the models were then converted for use in FSX using Model converter X.
It is not 100% accurate and no claim is being made by the author that it is. I have depicted the buildings in wartime camo.
All the buildings can be used as as you wish. My only request is that if you should design better textures for them that you let me have a copy, my textures are pretty basic.
Some buildings have night lighting, lights and smoke effects, these should be in your FSX effects files already.
I have not yet completed the Domestic Site but i may do this in the future...(I've hit the buffers for now though!!)
Included in this scenery pack is the Satellite Airfield RAF Great Orton. Built in 1943 to accommodate the larger bombers now being used by the RAF. This airfield is very sparse as i am unable to get much info about it.
Runways, Taxiways, Watch Office and Ground Signals are all that is included in this scenery pack, along with Sloped flattens, crosswind runways and AGN files.
I have included this as a destination for the Bristol Beaufort AI aircraft that i have included with the scenery.
The Bristol Beaufort AI is a freeware model from Alphasim and is used with their permission. I have altered the model textures and aircraft file and it works well enough as AI.
I have used other scenery libraries within this scenery (mainly to depict the village of Silloth) and these will need to be downloaded from the appropriate sources and activated within FSX.

California Pacific was the pet-project of eccentric millionaire Ted Vallas who was determined to overcome a near-decade of obstacles to bring scheduled jet service to the Northern San Deigo\Carlsbad area. The airline was founded in 2009, but ran into a laundry list of problems over the years. Initially, the airline had acquired an EMB-170 which was painted in the airlines own colors and kept at the airlines Carlsbad base(CLD\KCRQ). The initial plan called for 3-class service to destinations including SJC, OAK, PHX, SMF, and even SJD. However, a US government shut down ill-timed during the scheduled proving runs and certification process for the airline delayed the process indefinitely. After months of waiting, and paying for staff and the aircraft to the dismay of investors, the E170 was returned and used as a cooperate shuttle in Arizona in full California Pacific colors, though it never would return. The founder did not give up, however, and years later was able to circumvent the certification process by purchasing the operating certificate of ADI's Essential Air Service operation which connected Watertown and Pierre, South Dakota with Denver with a pair of EMB-145s. One of the EMB-145s was painted in full California Pacific colors and used to launch scheduled flights, this time initially to SJC, RNO and LAS with AZA instead of PHX later being added. However, the other EMB-145 was damaged after being struck by ground equipment in Pierre, SD and was grounded for the rest of the airline's life, causing all EAS flights to cancel soon after California Pacific had acquired the flying. The airline was stretched so thin when service started in November 2018 that the departure of a pilot in January 2019 shut the airline down, after just 2 months in operation. Flights were for months considered "suspended", with airport signage being retained at the destinations, but soon after the website was taken down and all hopes of re-starting the company seemed abandoned. These flights are based on an early 2019 schedule I found online, but the EAS flights were not listed. As the flights did not operate anyway for the most part as California Pacific, I elected not to include them. The schedule was changed several times in the airline's short history as it struggled to maintain an aggressive 30 minute ground-time between flights with just 1 aircraft. Located 05 miles SW of Toms River, New Jersey on 232 acres of land, R.J. Miller Air Park is a public asphalt strip 5949' in length. The airport buildings and immediate surrounding area have been included, magnetic variation adjusted, PAPI properly placed, taxiway lines drawn accurately, beacon properly placed, lit winsock and wind tee (both functional). The parking available has been matched to the current configuration of the airport, which is still undergoing renovation. Not included is the under-construction building just to the south of the terminal and the additional large hangar just north of the already-existing one. Taxiway lighting could not be seen in aerial photos - complete liberty on behalf of the author was taken when placing taxiway lights. Helipad is lit at night although the real world pad is not. Tiedown parking is available on the main tarmac in three sections: Southwest, Northeast, and regular Parking which is in the middle. RAMP_GA_SMALL parking spots are for aircraft with wingspans no greater than 40 feet. RAMP_GA_MEDIUM parking spots are for aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet. RAMP_GA parking spots are occupied/blocked by static objects and should not be chosen as a start location (although collision detection with all such objects has been disabled). There are 4 open hangars - three to the Southwest are for RAMP_GA_SMALL aircraft while the Northeast one is for RAMP_GA_MEDIUM aircraft or smaller. All hangar parking spots are labeled DOCK_GA. A hangar on the main tarmac and a hangar on the tarmac to the south and west removed from the airport have attendants that can be called on NAV2 - this appears to be FS9 only. Both hangars have undecorated interiors and no parking spots to start from. There is only one helipad to start on but helicopters can also start in any RAMP_GA_MEDIUM location with no problem. Fuel for aircraft/helicopters is available by stopping next to the fuel pumps (not the fuel tank) at the north end of the main tarmac. The helipad will supply fuel when landed on.

Located 03 miles N of Somerville, New Jersey on 210 acres of land, Somerset is a public airport with one asphalt and two grass runways, the longest of which is 2733' in length. The turf runways have no hard surfaces and you will be landing on terrain so have your mesh set as high as possible - both runways are still selectable in the ATC window for landing/takeoff announcements. AI aircraft will not use them. The helipad is a start location in front of the main terminal if a parking location is not wanted to begin helicopter flights. Parking is divvied up into three categories - GA_SMALL spots will accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 40 feet. GA_MEDIUM spots will accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet. GA_LARGE spots are named to identify locations suitable for starting in a glider if you wish to do so. They can also accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet. In addition to tie downs, there are 13 hangars open for parking in various locations - they can be identified by GA_DOCK. Only the N Parking hangar can accommodate aircraft with wingspans no greater than 60 feet - all other hangers are suitable only for aircraft with wingspans no greater than 40 feet. Several of the hangars have attendants - look beside the doors for the NAV2 frequency to set for opening them. AI aircraft will only spawn on the north tarmac/hangars (largely to prevent AI traffic crossing the runway on taxi). All objects and static aircraft in the immediate vicinity of parking and taxiways have collision disabled. If your aircraft has a wingspan greater than 40 feet it is NOT recommended that you taxi down the middle taxiway leading to the main tarmac from N Parking as you will not clear the hangars - go either via the NW taxiway past the grass tie downs (NW Parking) or around East to the next taxi way on the other side of the east hangars (E Parking) which has more wing clearance. Fuel is available on both tarmacs north and south of the runway by stopping on the asphalt in front of the tanks/pump.

This project was begun to add the new airport (FHSH) to St. Helena Island and eventually was expanded to include a complete remake of Ascension Island (FHAW) and Tristan da Cunha (with an optional airport FHTC) and Gough Island with the actual weather station heliport (FHGH). Tested in both the default FSX/Acceleration and with FTX Global/Vector, accurate coastlines, lakes, road data, and SRTMGL1 (30m) mesh, as well as corrected landclass are provided based on the latest available satellite imagery. Flight plans are provided for the proposed commercial service to St. Helena, and some additional GA and military flights to the island are added as well.
The FSX St. Helena (FHSH) airport was created by aligning master plans for the airport with current satellite data and by studying many of the pictures that have been posted as the airport has taken shape. The official opening of the real airport on May 21, 2016, has been pushed back for more field tests due to challenging crosswinds. The Ascension Island (FHAW) airport was updated after I realized that Ascension could receive commercial service as a result of the new St. Helena airport. The entire airfield is redesigned to allow the volcanic terrain to display properly. The airbase, towns, BBC Atlantic relay station, and numerous satellite dishes, radomes, and wind turbines now appear in their real-world locations. Since I was already in the region, I added the Tristan da Cunha Islands (including Inaccessible, Nightingale and Gough Islands) and the Gough Island weather station maintained by the South African National Antarctic Programme. I also added an optional airport (and flight plans) to Tristan da Cunha (FHTC), which can be easily enabled/disabled. The FHTC airport is placed on the only part of the island that appears to be free of people or farmland, and the area is just long enough to accommodate a pared-down version of the St. Helena airport.
Updates were created or rebuilt in a manner which carefully aligns airport data with current satellite imagery. Scenery was created using Airport Design Editor X v1.67.5684, SBuilderX 3.13, and the FSX Object Placement Tool. Scenery objects were added and modified from stock FSX scenery to resemble as closely as possible the actual airports. The animated flag model is by Dietmar Loleit, the FSX apron lights included are from the set created by Jim Dhaenens, and the animated wind turbines and radomes are from the freeware package by Ray Porter.
