B737 Head-Up Guidance System (HGS) Model 2350

File Description:
This gauge has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator Acceleration. It should also work with FSX SP1/SP2 . The functionality of this gauge is based on the Rockwell Collins HGS which is designed for the B737NG . It works correct for FSX B737-800 models only !! The gauge has been developed as close as possible according to the HGS Pilot Guide from Rockwell Collins for normal operations. The HGS can be used during all phases of flight from takeoff to landing. This can include Ground Roll Guidance, all enroute operations and either non-precision or precision approaches. This gauge is very realistic. It supports the pilot particular during approach operations to meet always precise the runway touch down zone by keeping a 3° glide slope angle. Even for a visual approach maneuver the HGS supports the pilot to establish and maintain the aircraft on the proper glide path to the runway without reference to a ground based landing system like ILS. KLM Douglas DC-3 PK-ALW

File Description:
After the occupation of the Netherlands in May 1940 several KLM DC-3's got stuck in the Dutch East Indies. One of them was PH-ALW 'Wielewaal' ('Oriole'). Although the DC-3 was operated as PK-ALW by KNILM from 1 June 1940 on, she was still owned by KLM and as such flew the shortened "Indies-route" Batavia to Lydda (Palestine, by then under British mandate). On 7 March 1942 PK-ALW was the last civil aircraft to leave the Dutch East Indies when the Japan invaded the island archipel. From then on the aircraft continued its career in Australia, first as a military aircraft and after the war as an airliner, registered VH-INR. The DC-3 still exists (2007) as a static museumpiece of the Queensland Air Museum in Caloundra, Queensland. The repaint of PK-ALW is based on the templates Mark Beaumont created for the MAAM-SIM Douglas DC-3 (passenger version), which were based on Jan Visser's original textures. This repaint has not been tested for FSX but will probably function there as well. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

Simflyers KLAX AFCAD 2.1

File Description:
INSTRUCTIONS AND MORE INFO INCLUDED IN ZIP FILE. INCLUDES 3 OVERLAYS. Hi, I've created these AFCAD files for the Simflyers LAX scenery, as I could not find anything that was truly a; realistic, and b; functioned properly with the MS Fltsim 2002 AI. I've spent many hours testing and tweaking these AFCAD files, so I hope they are perfect enough to be widely used. However, I do stress that some previous experience of using AFCAD and changing aircraft radius sizes will be necessary. Please report any faults which may be discovered! Design tips for the future are always very useful! WHATS NEW FOR 2.1: I have changed the direction of takeoff / landing for all of the runways, as the AI appears to behave a lot better this way (less likeliness of aircraft getting stuck!). This has allowed me to move all of the runways used by the KLAX overlay to the north side of the airport, reducing the chances of aircraft landing on top of one another. KLAX also now has some extra Ramp GA Large bays to accomodate for all of the American Eagle Saab 340's! Finally, I have cleaned up the AFCAD removing unecessary nodes etc.

Albania Air Force F-2(MiG-15bis) 5-32

File Description:
Albania Air Force MiG-15bis(Shenyang F-2)5-32. The F-2 was a variant modified by the Shenyang facilities in China of the model MiG-15bis. The planes were powered with a Chinese version of the VK-1A, the WP-5A and the addition of an access panel on the port side of the nose. This version was exported also to Bangladesh, North Korea, Pakistan, Sudan, Tanzania and North Vietnam. The first delivery batch of 24 MiG-15bis for Albania was delivered from the USSR on the 31th of January, 1955. The planes were relatively older and according to ground crews, some had clear evidence of battle damage indicating service in the Korean War. The first flight of the plane in Albania took place on April 7th, a public display flight over the capital on 1th May. In the early '60s the F-2's were added to the inventary of the Albanian Air Force. In the early 90's the planes were still in service together with the original Russian MiG-15bis with the 2th Squadron at the Valona Air Academy.

White 14 - Ed Russell Collection BF-109E-4

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the payware WWII Fighters BF-109. Originally built as a BF-109E-1, but upgraded to an E-4, the aircraft was flown on several occasions by legendary ace Hans-Joachim Marseille during the Battle of Britain, and is known to have shot down a Spitfire over the Thames Estuary. After recieving damage from a forced landing at Calais-Marck, the aircraft was repaired and saw service on the Eastern front (Russia) where it was abandoned. In the 1990's it was recovered from the Russian swamp and was transferred to the UK and restored by Craig Charleston for David Price - Santa Monica Museum of Flight. After being recieved in California in 1999, the aircraft only saw about 50 hours of flying time before being purchased by Ed Russell of Canada where it resides today. Based at Niagra South Field, the aircraft can be seen routinely throughout the summer performing at select airshow events, and is the only currently flyable 109E left in the world. Thanks to ICDP for his excellent paintkit that was used to make this texture. If it wasn't for it, this repaint may not have been.

LELC Murcia/San Javier, Spain

File Description:
Googly scenery for LELC San Javier, Spain, a medium-sized airport on the Costa Cálida 17 miles south of Murcia. The airport sees daily scheduled traffic operated by Canadair Regional Jets and Dash 8 turboprops of Air Nostrum but a large proportion of the airport's traffic is derived from tourist charter traffic from operators such as Air Berlin, Easyjet, LTU International and Ryanair and the airport can accept aircraft as large as the Boeing 767. The north end of the airport is home to the Spanish Air Force Academy. Flight Simulator 2004 has made little provision for traffic with facilities only for general aviation aircraft and this scenery seeks to redress the situation. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

HTMS Moshi

File Description:
Googly scenery for Moshi (ICAO: HTMS), a small airport serving the town of the same name located in the lower slopes of Africa's highest mountain - Mount Kilamanjaro. The town boasts good quality education and medical facilities, and industry includes production of fizzy drinks, beer, flour, animal feed and furniture, but surprisingly little tourism activity has been developed here so much of the traffic at this airport is unscheduled and charter work using smaller aircraft. Microsoft have only provided wrongly-positioned runways at this airport in Flight Simulator 2004 and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. Winchelsea Airport (8NJ0), NJ

File Description:
Located 01 miles W of Port Republic, New Jersey, Winchelsea Airport is a private turf strip. Pay very, very close attention to the published length of this grass runway: 980'. This is in addition to 50ft tree obstacles at either end of the runway. Double-check your aircraft's takeoff and landing distances before visiting this airfield!! A strong headwind is suggested for operations out of this location. Also take note the traffic patterns vary for each runway. There are no transient services offered and the airport is not lit at night so daytime VFR use only is suggested. There is no hard surface runway so set your terrain mesh slider as high as you can for the best effect of landing on terrain.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person.

This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 003. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Southern Cross Airport (C01), NJ

File Description:
Located 03 miles SW of Williamstown, New Jersey on 18 acres of land, Southern Cross is a public turf airstrip with an ample 2400' runway. The runway is hard surfaced in order to allow for AI traffic to use this airport, however the end user must enable flights to arrive/depart from this airfield within their AI traffic program in order for AI to appear here. Tie down space is available north of Runway 09 and fuel is available at the tank next to the hangar. This airport is not lit at night so daytime VFR operations only are recommended. In addition to trees at the ends of both runways, power lines are strung up across there too. Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview/aerial photos - the author has not been there in person. This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004.
