Joshua Buckhorn is getting ready for his trip into the Canadian Wester Fur Route. As a trader of furs and FBO owner things up here in North Washington
are hard in this year of 1949. Just 5 years ago he was flying a huge B-17 over Germany. Now a new life has brought him into the dangers on Bush Flying.
As always before these flights, new oil and spark plugs must be placed in the plane, tyres must be just right and the fuel tanks got to be full to the top.
It is 5:45 AM and a big breakfast is a must before the flight, eggs, grits, potatoes, ham, bacon and NO beans since the gas they produce will disrupt the fligh. And don´t forget the "P" Bottle.----I hope you know how to balance a plane with all those furs and hides you will acquire in this trip full of danger in approaches and take offs from, indeed, very dangerous fields. ( Bonus you get 4 new airports for future flights if the business pays off)..:)

| Metro Oakland Int'l (KOAK) with Active Crosswind Runways |

File Description:
A high spec AFCAD2 for the default FS2004 Metro Oakland Int'l Airport (KOAK). This afcad has been built from scratch using FAA Charts, various aerial photographs and information from the Airport Website. All runways feature real life lengths/widths and include overrun areas. All taxiways are named and all aprons are reworked to be as real as possible according to photos. All gates are named and have airlines assigned to them. As per real life, only Southwest Airlines will use Terminal 2, all other airlines being allocated to Terminal 1. The Fedex and UPS aprons are represented and can accomodate up to 20 cargo aircraft. The final parking area is random GA parking to the north of the airport. Overflow parking is also available for rush hour periods. This airport now features a tower view and also upgraded night and approach lighting. Finally, by using the crosswind runway technique, runways 9L/27R, 9R/27L and 11/29 can all be used simultaniously for take-off and landing. Runway 15/33 is closed as it is not used in real life. This is a North American Registry (N206RX) re-paint of the FREEWARE Cessna C206H Stationair VERSION 2.1 (Complete Aircraft) by Blue Sky Simulations, Roger Bonne & GUIDEE Francois-Denis. VERSION 2.1 has been reworked after reports of a few errors in the files. ALL ERRORS HAVE BEEN CORRECTED! This model has been throughly flight tested and flys like a dream! All textures are rendered in DXT-3 format for crisp texturing without sacrificing frame rates. Originally modeled for FS2004, this rendition of the sturdy aircraft has been modified to work within the FS-X platform. Includes customized panel and sound package by Peter Spanakos. Both an analog and Garmin G1000 glass panel versions have been included. ***** This file superceeds my earlier C206H Stationair (file name: c206_n206rx_v2.zip) and is recommended as a stand-alone download or a replacement for existing users of my previous version. The only difference is a self-installation program and corrected sound ***** This aircraft has no VC (Virtual Cockpit) and is meant to be flown with the 2-D panel only! This file is for FS-X only!

| Herb's Field C417 near Ottawa in Ontario, Canada |

File Description:
Herb's is on the 417 between Ottawa and Montreal at the junction with highway 34, which is south of Hawkesbury. Herb's is a truckstop and a repair garage and a restaurant and a gas station, and is still (but only just!) an airfield. Which is to say there is still a runway, some 1,200 feet long and 30 feet wide. Do not go in your Cessna 172 as only the northern half is usable, and that after inspection from the air for any obstacles, parked cars, dogs, and similar obstacles. The southern half is the way in for trucks and cars, so make sure you can stop well before the ex-hangar which is now for truck repairs only. The planes all belonged to Herb's father, and even a casual inspection will reveal that they haven't moved for some time. If there is anything using the service road immediately to the north of the runway go around again, you won't be able to clear a vehicle and then land on the threshold.

| YBIU Ballidu, Western Australia |

File Description:
YBIU Ballidu is a town located in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia, about 217 kilometres (135 mi) north of Perth. The townsite was gazetted in 1914, with street names of the original settlers. A primary school opened in the town on 4 September 1922, moving into permanent premises in 1924. Ballidu has a population of less than 100 people and consists of Ballidu Primary School, the local Art Gallery, a hall, a few shops for groceries and essentials and several farming supply stores. As Ballidu is a farming region, over the years (as the size of the surrounding farms has increased), the town has become smaller and smaller.
This airfield is run by Dunn Aviation and mainly home for their Air Tractor and Dromadaire fleet. (I have created a low poly version beacuse its my first aircraft model). It has a windsock and hangar but little else.

| YGNW Gnowangerup Shire airstrip and town, Western Australia |

YGNW Gnowangerup Shire Airstrip. The Shire of Gnowangerup is a Local Government Area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, about 120 kilometres north of Albany and about 370 kilometres southeast of the capital, Perth. The Shire covers an area of 4,268 square kilometres, and its seat of government is the town of Gnowangerup. Gnowangerup was initially gazetted as a Road Board in 1912, taking in eastern sections of Broomehill and Tambellup. On 1 July 1961, it became a Shire Council following changes to the Local Government Act. The area of gnowangerup is mainly wheat sheep on sandplain country. In the 1960's it was reported to have good rainfall but when the clearing started, the rainfall changed. Farmers who managed large properties were able to survive because of the economies of scale. At regular intervals, farmers in this area now have to cart water for their stock. REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

This region covers the area of Colorado Springs. Just west of the city you can fly around Pikes Peak. At 14.115ft it is the easternmost of Colorado's 54 fourteeners. Northwest of the city lies the Garden Of Gods with its many vertical rock formations. They are made of sedimentary beds red and white sandstones, conclomerates and limestone that were deposited horizontally but have been tilted vertically and faulted by the immense mountain building forces caused by the uplift of the Pikes Peak massiv. Deep within Chayenne Mountain is the North American Aerospace Defense Command's (NORAD) main technical facility which collects and evaluates data from a worldwide system of satellites, radars and other sensors.

Ever wanted to know how the scenery looks like around Kremmling VOR? Now you got the chance! This region covers the area around Kremmling and the northern part of the Gore Range. At Kremmling the Colorado River meets both the Blue River and the Muddy Creek. West of Kremmling you can see Gore Canyon. This rugged and steep canyon is almost 1000ft deep and was carved by the Colorado River on its way thru the Gore Range.
To explore the scenery depart from Mc Elroy Airfield (20V) in Kremmling and head north. High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_West.html . Maddog 2008 in China Northern Airlines B-2126 Repaint. You have to install payware LSH maddog 2008 first. The company was one of the six major airlines in mainland China which operated Airbus A300, MD-80/90 and Airbus A321, serving domestic routes as well as to Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and North Korea. On May 7, 2002, exactly 10 years ago, China Northern Airlines Flight 6136(Reg.B-2138) was flying from Beijing to Dalian when the pilot reported fire on board. Downside residents thousands of people and a large Petroleum Refinery. The captain noticed the situation and minutes later the plane crashed into the bay, avoiding injuries on the ground. Later, they found a passenger purchased 7 air insurance policies of this flight and investigation on the wreckage showed a quantity of gasoline near his seat. The conclusion is a passenger committed suicide and delibrately set the plane on fire. After the crash, China Northern Airlines merged with China Southern Airlines and became one of the largest airlines serving mainland China.

This airfield, located in Lower Saxony (North-Germany), supported the "Berlin Airlift" 06/24/1948 thru 09/30/1949, is dedicated to all the flight crews who served the "Berliner Luftbruecke".
The famous Douglas C-47 (Dakota) and the Douglas C-54 (Skymaster, was called the Candy Bomber during those days) flew day after day coal and food to Berlin to help the people survive the blockade.
The included AI-Package contains:
-Douglas C-47 Dakota and C-54 Skymaster,
-Handley Page HP-67 Hastings,
-Heinkel HE-111,
-Focke-Wulf 190,
-FW-200A Condor,
-Messerschmitt ME-109 and ME-262.
A bunch of C-47, C-54 and HP-67 hurry per IFR-Flightplan to Berlin-Tempelhof (EDDI) at a 4 hours time interval. A couple of FW-190, ME-109, ME-262, a HE-111 and a FW-200 perform touch and goes at the local field. This scenery was made with EZ. No FSE or other payware is required. Gentlemen, let's start the engines!
