File Description:
This is the standard fs9 Cessna 172 with a custom panel to enhance learning the principles of Flight and Navigation. Large gauges are on the panel plus digital readouts for most of the gauges so that there will be no guessing of the readings. The view over the panel is 50% larger than the default Cessna 172. Not on the panel are most of the non-flying gauges such as fuel gauges, engine instruments, engine controls, etc. The intent was to keep the panel uncluttered. Thanks to Norman Hancock and Dave Bitzer for the non-standard gauge designs, and to Tom Goodrick for the great auto-start/auto-stop flight timer and to Kyle Copeland for the fine panel Bitmap. The 27th Special Operations Group located at Cannon Air Force Base New Mexico is one of four groups assigned to the 27th Special Operations Wing. The group accomplishes global special operations taskingsas an Air Force component member of the United States Special Operations Command. It conducts infiltration/exfiltration, combat support, tilt-rotor operations, helicopter aerial refueling, close air support, unmanned aerial vehicle operations, non-standard aviation, and other special missions. It directs the deployment, employment, training, and planning for squadrons that operate the AC-130H, AC-130W, PC-12, Do-328, M-28, CV-22, MC-130J, MQ-1, MQ-9 and provides operational support to flying operations. Although this scenery is intended for use with the Cannon AI package available at MilitaryAIWorks.com, it is a fully functional scenery and will work fine without it.

"Emerald Lake" (YEWA), Queensland, Australia.
Emerald Lake is the international headquarters and home base for EastWest Airlines VA and is situated 18 kilometres from Emerald. Emerald Lake is nestled on the foreshores of Lake Maraboon, Queensland's second largest lake. It is 265 km west of Rockhampton and 900km from Brisbane. The lake is a massive 15000 hectares surface area.
Emerald Lake consists of two ILS runways 13000’ & 6000’ a space-age international and domestic terminal cluster using 8 Skyways, super sized hangars to accommodate future super jets, a flying club, cargo division, RFDS Base and a fully manned tower, a water runway and amphibian base.
There is a resort, a marina, residential area (under construction) on the shores of the lake adjacent to the airport and connected by a road network.

The PBY Catalina is probably the best known flying boat with over 4000 produced by Consolidated aircraft and licensees. The Black Cat squadrons all done in flat black played havoc particularly for the Japanese in the Pacific in WWII. Fitted with radar, with a 15 hour endurance and 2800 mile range they hunted Japanese naval ships and bombed or torpedoed them by the hundreds. This a fairly accurate rendition of the PBY except that the retractable pontoons are missing. Why? Well basically after using all the tricks I know I ran out of parts. There are 6 engine nacelles used in the model, 2 represent the 1200 HP radial engines driving the props, the others are jets with 5 lbs of thrust, 1 is used for the rear fuselage section, 1 is used for the wing pylon, 1 is used for the flare from the fuselage to the vertical stabilizer and the last is used for the forward observation and gunner space. Two are not used. Wing sections are taken up by the main wing and the support spars so there you go. The fuel tanks are used for the side gunner pods since these can be decorated separately. The plane flies very well and is stable. Takeoffs from water are quite easy as long as you don't dip a wing tip (no floats remember). This aircraft model and the paint scheme is copyright by Robert App, January 2003. Feel free to alter the paint scheme and instrument panel as long as you give me credit for the original design. The Black Cat squadron logo used in the paint scheme is courtesy of http://www.daveswarbirds.com/blackcat/logos.htm and is from the VP-71 Black Cat squadron. E mail me with any good panels or paint schemes and I will give full credit if used.

Featuring the Space Shuttle Discovery and celebrating NASA's return to space!
This package contains the most up to date version of my Space Shuttle Landing Challenge (v1.2). I am providing it as a FINAL single installation package to eliminate the need for multiple update files. This package includes the Space Shuttle Discovery redesigned using actual NASA-Boeing mechanical/aeronautical engineering data, a panel, sounds and shuttle landing FX. The space shuttle in the sim (like the real shuttle) has the ability to water 'ditch' and belly land in an emergency or if improperly landed on the suspension system. You can select the sensitivity of the main landing gear struts (less crashes) for those who are novice to flying critical tolerances. This package includes a CHALLENGE FLIGHT ADVENTURE PACKAGE and features a reference list of the flights along with approach/landing procedure tips to the kneeboard (F-10) for you to refer to while in flight. The adventure pack will provide a set of 11 challenge flights spanning the globe for the space shuttle re-entry simulation. A Bonus PACK of CrashBar effects including smoke, fire, explosions and other nasty reminders of landing mistakes is included as an optional installation. The original .mdl file is by Matthew Moxon and a modified for FS9 panel byTom Kellner. Model repaint, flight dynamics, air file, sound.cfg, adventure flights and shuttle landing\crash FX by Nick Needham. Includes NASA's description of the entire landing process which you can now experience in Flight Simulator! This package includes an install for FS2002 as well and supersedes all other update packages.

Virgin Atlantic is a British airline with its head office in Crawley, West Sussex, England. The airline was established in 1984 as British Atlantic Airways, and was originally planned by its co-founders Randolph Fields and Alan Hellary to fly between London and the Falkland Islands. Soon after changing the name to Virgin Atlantic Airways, Fields sold his shares in the company after disagreements with Richard Branson over the management of the company. The maiden flight from Gatwick to Newark Liberty International Airport took place on 22 June 1984. The airline along with Virgin Holidays is controlled by a holding company Virgin Atlantic Limited which is owned 51% by the Virgin Group and 49% by Delta Air Lines.

Flightplan Visualizer (FV) version 1.9.0. Copyright 2018-2019 by Pelle F. S. Liljendal ([email protected]), all rights reserved.
FV comes with 300 Commercial-, and +380 BizJet AI pre-imported flightplans which the creators of those flightplans have gracefully allowed me to include with the installer, however you are able to import additional (AI) flightplans if you want to. Once imported these (AI) flightplans can be visualized on a map-view, and the user will be able to search accross all these. Hence you can use the program as inspiration as to which routes to fly. E.g. you can search across all imported flightplans to find all flights in an A321 flying into/out from LDDU, or simply to look for all flights in a Boeing 747-8F.
Simply run the included installer to install the software. The program will be installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flightplan Visualizer" and all datafiles will be installed into: "C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\FlightplanVisualizer". The program comes with a full manual explaining everything, and a 3 page quick manual to get you started. The first 3 times you run the program the quick manual will automatically open. FS2004 Panel, F16 Air Show Tour. The panel of this jet fighter has been designed for cross country flying to events worldwide. The 2D cockpit is packed with new gauges that complement this high performance, yet docile aircraft. All gauges, lights, etc. are functional, easy to read, and are panel installed except GPS 500. For long distance flights, the panel contains on-demand refueling capabilities for both ground and air operations. A few of the new gauges are; 180-degree scan navigational radar, triple mode interceptor-refueling-terrain radar, refueling gauge with command screen, fuel center with time/distance remaining computer, new Descentometer for Mach-plus aircraft, analog engine gauges including thrust and fuel efficiency, plus a hangar full of warning and indicator lights. The intercept mode of the ai-radar feeds info to the autopilot to assist in the rendezvous with tanker to allow all-weather, day or night air refueling. Digital data for AP, radio, altimeter, timer, and Descentometer is input via a central keypad. Acknowledge ATC instructions using joystick. Designed for use with Kirk Olsson's F16 Viper.
