At 4:30 A.M. on May 10, 1940, three Junkers Ju 52's took off from the Cologne airfields of Ostheim and Butzweilerhof, towing behind them three other aircraft that lacked motors. The first front service of a new weapon, the freight glider, developed by the DFS (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug / German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight), had begun. A total of 41 DFS-230 freight gliders with 400 paratroopers were launched for this mission. It was their task to take the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich. With this successful operation the crossing of the Albert Canal was secured and the cornerstone of Belgian defense fell in German hands.
These assault gliders were also used during the Krete invasion (1941). The DFS 230's last significant use was during the 'Eichen' operation: 10 assault gliders were used to deliver the group of hand picked commandos led by Otto Skorzeny against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel that was used to hold Mussolini. The Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) received from Luftwaffe, during 1941, almost 20 DFS-230 and 4 Gotha Go-242 assault gliders. These aircrafts were used only for pilot training until 09/1943.

There sure is more than one reason to go to Aspen and this is sure another must-have of my Colorado sceneries. If you're coming IFR there's a couple of very demanding approach procedures. From a LOC/DME to several visual approaches there's everything your heart might desire. Due to the steep and high surrounding terrain these are quiet some hair raisers (see www.airnav.com/airport/KASE). If you're coming VFR then the traffic pattern altitude is 9.005 ft for light aircraft (vs. 9.505 for aircraft 12.500 lbs or more). Weather and wind permitting, RW15 is preferred for all landings (left pattern). RW33 has a right pattern and is preferred for all takeoffs. You even need a written permission to depart RW15. When departing VFR make a right turn to a heading of 360 degrees ASAP for noise abatement and hold this heading for at least 2 miles from the field. And don't forget to enjoy the impressive mountain scenery with two 14ers: Snowmass Mtn. and Castle Pk. to the southwest. This scenery brings you another 3.500 sq km of beautiful Colorado in 4.7m/pix quality. This repaint is handpainted onto the ISDT ATR 72-500 and has been tested in FSX ONLY!! But may work in FS9 too. OY-CLY and OY-CLZ are ATR 72-500 which are owned by the Danish airline Air Alsie (Based in Sonderborg). In 2013 Air Alsie created a new airline to operate between Sonderborg (EKSB/SGD) and Copenhagen (EKCH/CPH). The new airline is called Alsie Express and has 2 ATR 72-500 in a distinctive mat black livery that are operated by Air Alsie and are equipped with 48 seats in an all business class layout. Both aircraft are based in Sonderborg, which also is their homebase. Alsie Express is flying 5x daily from Sonderborg to Copenhagen to see the exact schedule visit their website.
This is an livery pack that includes BOTH aircraft for Alsie Express, OY-CLY and CLZ.
Please note that this is an updated version of the other livery of OY-CLY that has been uploaded earlier by NordicRepainters. Changelog:

This is an X-Plane 11 and X-Plane 10 scenery package for Benedito Lacerda Airport (IATA: MEA, ICAO: SBME) is the airport serving Macaé, RJ, in Brazil. It includes corrected aprons, ramps, gates, taxiways, lighting system, city buildings, ortho-photoscenery for the airfield area, and (XP11 only) airport ground services (like push back). The airport was established in the 1960s as an airfield for general aviation and a Flying club. In the 1980s the runway was paved and an apron and a terminal with 941 m² were constructed, enabling Macaé Airport to fully support the operations related to the Campos basin (off shore oil platform in the costal area of the state of Rio de Janeiro). In fact, most of its movement (98%) is related to helicopter flights to/from offshore oil platforms of the Campos basin. It features a lot of apron positions for rotorcrafts. This scenery was tested and is operational (as of March 26, 2017) in "X-Plane 11 Public Beta #17 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. It was also tested and is also operational (as of March 26, 2017) in "X-Plane 10.51 64 bit", Windows 10 Home. Only the default X-Plane 11 libraries, by Laminar Research, are needed. No third party libraries are used.

File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". File Description:
The F/A-18 Hornet is an all-weather aircraft used as an attack aircraft as well as a fighter. It was designed to replace both the A-7 Corsair in the light ground attack role, and the F-4 Phantom which operated in both the air defense and ground attack roles. It compliments the F-14 Tomcat and can be operated from forward airstrips for the U.S. Marine Corps. In the fighter mode, the F/A-18 is used primarily as a fighter escort and for fleet air defense; in the attack mode, it is used for force projection, interdiction and close and deep air support. The F/A-18 currently equips the majority of Navy and Marine fighter-attack squadrons and will ultimately replace the F-14 Tomcat as it has the F-4 Phantom, the A-4 Skyhawk and the A-7 Corsair II. The Blue Angels flight demonstration team has used the F/A-18 since 1987. The final Hornet to be built was rolled out of Boeing's facility at Patuxent River, Maryland, in August 2000. Over 1,400 Hornets were built and over 1,200 are now flying in fifty-five active duty, reserve and test squadrons, as well as in seven foreign countries.

Textures for Tom Gibson's Douglas DC-6A/C-118 - repainted by Manfred Meyer.
You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-6A CB-16 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com.
These textures depict C-GPEG (c/n 43576), flying cargo for Willy Laserichs G-O Enterprise from Yellowknife throughout Canada's northwest. Its a former USAF C-118A and has been around a bit as the flags of all at these times visited nations attest. After civilianisation a talented young lady from Tucson painted the "Stage coach" nose art on it and in 1978 W. Laserich bought the plane. Later on she went to Northern Air Cargo of Alaska as N99330 and lost her colorful markings.
