File Description:
Ejercito Del Aire Lockheed F-104G Starfighter, aka the Zipper, Coffin Nail, Widowmaker, Flying Coffin, or Missile with a Man in It; in untrained hands it resembles a lawn dart, as nicknamed by the Canadians. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this hotrod of military jet history. Going into production in 1955, this aircraft was manufactured, directly or by license, by 6 countries, and served the air forces of 17 countries. Late examples served until 2004, nearly fifty years after its introduction. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the Lockheed F-104G in the service of the Ejercito Del Aire; with a total of 11 models and 21 repaints. A distinction of sorts, the EdA operated these aircraft for seven years without a single airframe loss, the only country user to do so. I am also including some optional variants with separate manual install instructions. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

File Description:
This is a repaint for the freeware Warwick "Wozza" Carter AT-6G Texan. This repaint depicts the restored AT-6D Ser. 49-3305, N651SH, registered to Flying Texans and Mustangs Unlimited, LLC. This aircraft was originaly built during WWII for the USAAF, but was completely rebuilt by North American in 1949 for the newly formed USAF. In 1962, the aircraft was once again overhauled and exported to Spain, where it served until the early 1980's. Today this aircraft is operated by an organization called Texan Flight, based in Houston, Texas, which provides flight experiences to paying customers. The aircraft remains painted in the markings it wore while serving as part of the Spanish AF, keeping this part of its heritage intact. The aircraft has been nicknamed "Dulcinea" by its owners, a character from the tale of Don Quixote. This repaint includes all new exterior textures (including specular and bump maps), new engine and modified wheel well textures, and new and modified cockpit textures throughout. This repaint requires the files t6texmod.zip and fsds_t-6update.zip to be installed first.

| South China Sea Bases |
|
File Description:
This file contains five man-made bases with helipads which have been created in recent times by China, AND one man-made island airport with a large runway in the same area. The South China Sea is an area with disputed claims, with no natural land the UN has made several rulings. Many nations conduct what is called 'Right of Navigation' covered by the UNCLOS Part VII, which allows freedom of overflight and navigation. Also included is the Fuluo North East AB on Hainan Island. Note these are simple basic sceneries to allow flying around the area in FSX. There was nothing in FSX, and many dont have ICAO IDs assigned. These are not payware quality, however they were created with ADE. Thanks goes to them.
Included are
++ AG882 - Fuluo NE AB - large Air base
++ ZCUA - Huayang Jiao (Cuarteron Reef) Helipad
++ ZGAV - Nanxun Jiao (Gaven Reef) Helipad
++ ZHUG - Dongmen Jiao (Hughes Reef) Helipad
++ ZJOH - Chigua Jiao (Johnson South Reef) Helipad
++ ZMIS - Meiji Jiao (Mischief Reef) Large Airport
++ ZSC2 - Sin Cowe Island - Helipad

(TEXTURES ONLY)
(ONLY TESTED IN FSX: STEAM EDITION)
Recently I noticed that there are only, and I am not kidding, THREE liveries for this particular variant available for the Project OpenSky V4 Models. So I thought, "why not make more liveries for this variant?" so I did. I am planning on making more liveries for this variant, like its older sister B-KAA, as well as other airliners like TransExport, Atlas Air, and others. I will not guarantee that I will 100% make them in the future, but this is just plans. As I am making other liveries as well, like Flying Tigers' 747-100 with EL AL and "C.A.L" text.
Thank you so much to Joey_C for letting me borrow his Dragonair Cargo Decals as well as Door Placecards, which made this livery possible! I recommend you checking his page out in the X-Plane Forums if you use XP11, or XP12. His liveries are equally as good, if not better!
Instructions and more information are included in the readme file.

| YMDN Merredin, Western Australia, Town and Airfield |
|
File Description:
YMDN Merredin Town and Airfield - includes townsite landclass. Merredin, a town better known for its wheat and sheep exports. But for almost a decade, it's where one of Asia's busiest carriers, China Southern Airlines, has been sending its trainee pilots to learn how to fly. "They come from a country with a population of more than a billion people. Right now they live in Merredin - population, depending on who's visiting, around 2,000. For nine years now, they and hundreds like them have travelled to WA's empty, sprawling Wheatbelt to learn how to fly. The middle of the Wheatbelt is not the first place you'd look for the future of Chinese commercial aviation. But before these fledgling flyers can spread their wings with China's largest airline, they must pass six months of boot camp in Merredin. Most of them are from China's southern provinces. Their backgrounds are varied. For many of them, it's the first time that they've operated some form of machinery, which includes those students that haven't even had an exposure to driving a motor car. It's early days in their careers. The students are putting in the groundwork. First, mastering the art of piloting single-engine two-seater planes. It's all preparation for the Boeings and airbuses they'll eventually be flying on major international routes. The pressure is intense. Every aspect of the student's progress is measured. Failure can have serious implications for their hopes of becoming commercial pilots. It's part theory and part practical. But flying isn't the only thing that these young men have to get used to in Merredin. For one, there's the incredibly slow pace of country life. Merredin Shire sold the defunct airport for $1 - that's cheaper than a bag of lollies. The locals say the monetary sweetener has paid off." (From ABC transcript) REQUIRES Blencowe_LibraryKit.zip

| China Airlines 1998 AI Package |
|
File Description:
China Airlines had almost completely repainted the fleet by 1998, in these flightplans there is only 1 A300s left in the old livery. China Airlines rushed the repaint of their fleet as the Taiwanese flag on the old colors was not allowed in HKG after the 1997 hand over from England making Hong Kong a Chinese Territory. As such, the old colors were gone by 1998. The 737-400s were still very much active, but were very near the end of their lives with China Airlines retired by 1999 or so. The 737-400s do some regional international routes, and also high frequency KHH-TSA flights and a few TPE-KHH flights. Only 2 747-200s left, mostly flying to HND, and the A300-600R is the backbone of the fleet with a handful of A300B4s still flying. The 747SPs all were at Mandarin by 1998. At this time, and Mandarin aircraft often subbed for China Airlines 747-400s and MD-11s using the "DYNASTY" callsign. I have included an MD-11 in Mandarin colors operating China Airlines flights, I recommend you make a separate aircraft.cfg entry for the Mandarin MD-11 aircraft with the "DYNASTY" callsign and "CAL" parking code for realism. Repaints by Ranmori Scythe for the FAIB 737-400, 747-200, 747-400, FSPX MD-11, and TFS A300B4 and A300-600R are included. As a bonus, textures are also included for the FAIB 737-800(which entered the fleet in 1999) and the old colors on the FAIB 747-400(discontinued by 1997). Feel free to use the 737-400 instead of the 737-800 if you wish. All repaints were done by the very talented Ranmori Scythe and flightplans were done by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. Requires mandarin_airlines_1998.zip for the Mandarin textures. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. Follow us on Facebook at facebook.com/flightsim98 and on instagram as @bayviationsim. File Description:
The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west of Barrow, and there will be additions. Cape Lisburne is a gravel runway right next to the coast with radar gear and accomodation buildings close by, and what was called "Top Camp" at the end of a long and steep road to the top of a nearby hill, or mountain. The runway is lit, as are most of them in this area of long dark winter nights. Barrow is 270 miles to the northeast. Point Lay PPIZ used to have a radar installation as well as a village, but the old buildings have now been removed and the gravel runway 05-23 has been lengthened to 5,000 feet to serve the village throughout the year. The population is around 270, living mostly traditionally and with an annual beluga whale hunt. Barrow is 180 miles to the northeast.
Wainwright PAWI, some 80 miles southwest of Barrow and on the coast, has a population of around 570. The PAWI runway is just under 5,000 feet long and like PPIZ is aligned 05-23, lit, and with PAPI on each end. The original runway of some 2,000 feet is still visible next to the apron. Three miles to the southeast there is a third runway, at AK03, serving the Wainwright DEW station. It was decided in 2007 to close the station and to remove the buildings both there and at Point Lay because of subsidence, but everything at Wainwright was still in place in 2009 and beyond. The villages have been "sketched" as opposed to replicated exactly. The texture folder includes the missing car textures for Barrow PABR, and the AI is modified PABR to include passenger flights by Ravn and cargo flights by Northern Air Cargo, plus limited GA. There are no flattened grassed areas at these airfields; they are runways and taxiways and aprons on a bed of gravel on permafrost.
