| Active ILS - KIAH v2.0 |

UPDATED KIAH see the readme file -- By design KIAH is now another Airport that features advanced ATC control. As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Traffic is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2. If you add a new ILS runway to an airport such as KIAH (8L/26R) only the user aircraft can use this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles. ATC will no longer use this runway for AI Traffic because FS9 sees it as a visual runway. This will cause ATC to vector your AI Traffic back to 8/26 (old numbers) 8R/26L (new numbers) which is also a Terminal Departure Runway. All 5 runways for KIAH are now simultaneously active for departure and arrival. There are many additional options added to version 2.0 so follow the instructions in the README and just sit back (or fly) and plane spot either VMC or IMC for a very active airport. *** SimFlyers Scenery AFCAD2 and special ILS bgl also included ***

| Yamamoto Shootdown by Lockheed P-38G with AI Aircraft and Scenery |

File Description:
Re-Upload. This package provides a new P-38G modified specifically for recreating the mission that resulted in the interception and shootdown of Admiral Yamamoto over Bougainville Island in 1943 in accord with available documentation (links provided). The panel, mixture controls, capacity of the external tanks and the flight dynamics have been tailored to provide accurate power settings and performance to closely match the historical flight. Included are detailed documentation of the new aircraft, and the P-38 fuel settings used by the Army Air Corps before Charles Lindbergh suggested a "correction" in 1944 which greatly improved cruise fuel efficiency. To add to the realism, also included are AI aircraft (Zeros, Bettys, SBDs and C-47s) from CFS2.
New airports, scenery, and extensive scenario documentation to help the simulator pilot successfully "intercept" and "shoot down" the Admiral's Mitsubishi G4M 'Betty' are provided by experienced real world fighter pilot and Adversary Instructor Jim Daigneau, who also provided overall technical support and mission testing.
David C. Copley's outstanding P-38G has been modified as described above and is included, with his permission.

File Description:
VASP was the 2nd largest airline in Brazil, but was scaling down by 1998. VASP still had a great international network stretching to ATH/KIX/ICN/LAX/YYZ/JFK/BCN/ZRH ect. A fleet of 10 MD-11s did all the long haul flying, as well as plenty of domestic flights. 3 A300s and a large 737-200/300 fleet served the domestic routes. While VARIG was based in GIG, VASP was based in GRU and the planes tend to hang out there. There was only 1 special livery, which was a named MD-11, so not much variation unlike VARIG. VASP did serve SDU and CGH with mainline equipment, however, so these plans will help populate those airports. Included are repaints by Raphael Rodrigues for the FAIB 737-200, 737-300, FSPX MD-11, and TFS A300B4. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. Googlyafcad A&F Data file for Depati Amir, based on Google Earth satellite data. It is a domestic airport located on the east coast of the island on Bangka serving the serving the largest town on the island, Pangkal Pinang, which is also the capital of the province
Bangka-Belitung.
The facilities in Flight Simulator 2004 only allow for general aviation traffic, but the
airport is regularly served by Boeing jets of Adam Air, Batavia Air and Sriwijaya Air as
well as smaller prop-driven craft of airlines like Merpati Nusentara. These files will
allow you and your "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner.
Like many airports in Indonesia, the ICAO code has changed in recent years. Microsoft
Flight Simulator 2004 uses the old code (WIKK) but this changed first to WIPK (in error)
and now WIDK. These files allow you to continue using the old code or change to the new

| FSX/P3D Quick ILS Utility Ver 3.1.5 **UPDATE ** |

This utility was written to simplify the process of finding the ILS frequency when ATC assigns an ILS approach. Operation is simple. Enter the ICAO, click the Search button and a list of all runways, runway lengths and runway ILS frequencies for that ICAO are displayed. Here's the quick part... Just double click on a runway and the ILS frequency will instantly be set in the Nav1 radio. You can also start Flight Simulator, load a flightplan and then start Quick ILS. It will automatically read the flightplan and then display the destination airport's runway data. Again, just double click on the assigned runway to set the Nav1 radio for the ILS approach. ILS data aside, General Aviation fans may want to use Quick ILS to get information about possible destination airports. Enter an ICAO and you can quickly view the runways available, their length, the surface (ie grass, gravel, paved...) and the runway headings. Version 3.1.5 adds the ILS ID to the display. After some input and ideas from a fellow FS2Crew pilot here is a non-APU version of my flow and checklist to even closer mimic real world OPs the way many big airlines operate in real life every day at big airports around the world where the use of APU is limited to only a short period of time a couple of minutes before engine start. I also (don't I always ;-)) did some other changes and what I think improvements since my last version so give it a try and see what you think! About fitting the list on 2 A4 pages when printing it from WordPad please set all your margins to 25 mm in WordPad and uncheck the option to print the page numbers. This time I will not ask the AVSIM Library Managers to replace my old version with this one since some of you might still want the version where the APU is used depending on what kind of flights you do and to what kind of airports. Instead this will be uploaded as a new and separate version.
A flow/checklist for flying PMDG's 737NGX with FS2Crew Voice Edition. Did this mainly for my own use meaning the flow/checklist is adjusted for how I do my flying and with the addons I use like Aerosoft AES for example. Please also be aware this is not the kind of flow/checklist that includes all things you need to perform during a normal flight but instead you are expected to already have a general knowledge of both the NGX and FS2Crew. However I thought others might be helped by this too both newbies to get you going with the "flow" using FS2Crew but also for the more experienced users as a simple to print out and use memory note. It's also easy for you to change whatever you like to suit your own needs better since I created it in common rtf format using the standard Wordpad Windows application. I deliberately made it as compressed as possible leaving out stuff like all the answers to the checklists etc so it would fit on a single A4 sheet being easy to print and maybe also laminate if you like. Hope you'll enjoy it!
