File Description:
Bacchus Marsh Airfield is located approx 40km WNW of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It was never included in the original FSX.
This package incorporates a choice of blending into either the fsx default landscape or the Orbx AU landscape. This airport has been modeled from photographs freely available off the internet.
A folder is enclosed to give comparisons of detail at ground level. In Display Settings, set texture resolution as desired.
All hangars are my generic ones and chosen for similarity in shape, colour and size to the real ones on the ground. The package includes about 100 FSDS custom made scenery objects ranging from hangars to ground litter and many in
between, useful for also installing in other rural airports via a scenery editor. It includes some grass and tussocks vegetation to help give the visual of a rural airfield.

File Description:
Alpha Air was an independent LAX based commuter airline who began operating as a Trans World Express(TWE) carrier in the mid 90s. With a fleet of 3 B1900Cs, in a mix of TWE and Alpha Air liveries, the B1900s did a combination of flying to resort cities like Mammoth Lakes, South Lake Tahoe, and the Grand Canyon and commuter flying between SoCal airports like BUR, SNA, and PSP with the route network stretching as far East as Phoenix. Between 1994 and 1995, most of the commuter routes(all except LAX-PSP-PHX) were dropped in favor of adding flights between TVL and SFO several times daily, GCN was also dropped around this time. These plans combine 94/95 to represent all routes flown in the mid-90s. Also included are textures for the full fleet with 3 variations of the HTAI B1900C.

Reducing FSX Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial
One of the more "interesting" enhancements which Microsoft introduced in FSX is the vehicle traffic which can be seen on the highways around larger cities and airports. However many simmers feel the speed at which these vehicles travel is considerably too fast and therefore quite unrealistic. One simmer has even commented that he cannot overtake many vehicles when flying low and slow in the default Cessna.
It is quite easy to edit the speeds of such vehicles and the process has been documented in at least one forum post. However I thought it might be useful - especially for those not accustomed to working with command line interfaces - to have a tutorial available which illustrates each step.

The scenery is bounded by Detroit in the west, Kingston in the east, Huntsville in the north and Buffalo in the south and features: * all-season scenery * custom water textures * completely modelled Toronto Airports...CYTZ (Toronto Island) and CYZD (Downsview-home to Bombardier Aerospace and the Canadair Regional Jet and Dash-8, and the Toronto Aerospace Museum) * Niagara Helicopters CPQ3 (NEW) *custom autogen for the GTA * Custom landclass for southern Ontario * prominent features around Hamilton include the Burlington Skyway,lift bridge and steel mills * the Welland Canal is featured with lift bridges from Pt Weller to Pt Colborne * the Niagara area includes two hydro generating plants with reservoirs * compatibility with SimFlyers CYYZ.
This scenery is downloadable in two parts and both parts are essential.

GMMX - Menara Intl Airport - Marrakech, Morocco, Phase 1. Marrakech-Menara Airport is an airport serving Marrakech, the capital city of the Marrakech-Tensift-El Haouz region in Morocco. It is an international facility that receives several European flights as well as flights from Casablanca and some of the Arab world nations.
Construction is going on to enlarge the airport. Impressions of what the new situation will be like are enclosed. This reworked AFCAD shows the construction area, adds taxiways P1 and P2, updates the airports lay-out as per today's situation, enhances the surrounding area and improves the overall signage, pavement and parking facilities. Once the new terminal is open, the AFCAD will be updated.
Using ADEx 1.51, aeronautical maps and Google Earth all these changes have been built into the default FSX airport.

File Description:
Rio Sul was the "shuttle" operation of VARIG, focusing on the high-density domestic routes and the domestic airports like CGH and SDU rather than GRU and GIG, though there was a GRU-based EMB-120. The airline was operating a mix of 737-500s, EMB-120s, and brand new ERJ-145s at the time in a mix of the old and new livery. As the airline was owned by VARIG, it was common to see VARIG livery aircraft operate for Rio Sul. Flightplans by Raphael Rodriguez and Chasen Richardson. Repaints for the AIA EMB-120, FAIB 737-500, AIM ERJ-145, and NAAI Fokker 50 by Rapahel Rodrigues and Jonathan Alba included. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. This pack contains a repaint sampling of four Cessna 208B's and five Cessna 206's operated by Wilderness Air (ex Sefofane) out of Maun, Botswana.
Included are flightplans depicting Wilderness Air Botswana's Okavango Delta/Kalahari inter-camp schedule, intermixed with some representative charters within Botswana.
Requires the freeware HTAI Cessna 208B model (http://htai-models.com/downloads/models/ai_cessna_c208b_grand_caravan.zip).
To get the HTAI Cessna 206 model, if you don't already own a copy, you'll need to purchase the HTAI Cessna Single-Engine Props package (http://htai-models.com/projects.html). The real ones flown by WA have cargo pods; the HTAI C206 doesn't.
You might want to use this pack with my Botswana scenery (botswana_airports.zip) and the three updates that go with it (botswana_airports_update_1.zip, botswana_airports_update_2.zip, and botswana_airports_update_3.zip). The scenery contains all the airports and parking spaces required to make these plans work.

WHAT IS IT?
In a nutshell, the stock FSX control tower turned into an airplane with the aerodynamics of a cement brick with highly adjustable landing gear for tower height. No longer does one have to create a multiplayer session to use the stock control tower to do some AI "plane watching". The control tower is fitted with floats so one can slew to a good vantage point at certain airports like Boston Logan, La Guardia or KSFO for instance, floating on water. (Yes, it still "bobs" with waves) This was also done for better stability on uneven ground and the inability to roll around. There are some new features added such as tower flood lighting, a reference switch, and an external program to adjust the tower height (30-1000 ft.) for convenience. ( Not tested at all in P3D )

File Description:
As most know initiating the ILS at certain airports for AI Traffic is not a function at this time when using AFCAD2. If you add a new ILS runway to an airport such as KDEN (Denver International Airport 16R/34L) only the user aircraft can use this runway when visibility falls below 3 miles. ATC will no longer use this runway for AI Traffic because FS9 sees it as a visual runway and will now vector your AI Traffic to a FS9 stock ILS runway. This file adds all NAVAIDS for making 16R/34L a Precision Instrument Runway by adding all the radar fixes for both the ILS approach portion and the proper missed approach procedures, altitudes and intersections as per current published plates. All AI Aircraft will now continue to use 16R/34L when Airport conditions are less than 3 miles.
