The Ohio State University Airport (OSU) is one of the leading general aviation facilities in the nation, providing educational opportunities to university students and aircraft services to many of central Ohio's pilots and businesses.
The OSU Airport is home to 230 aircraft, including single- and multi-engine, piston and turbine engine aircraft and rotorcraft. The OSU Airport oversees an estimated 100,000 operations per year, including corporate activity, student training, and pleasure flying. By comparison, the OSU Airport generally ranks in the top five airports in Ohio in the number of take-offs and landings with Cleveland Hopkins, Port Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati Lunken.
This file includes enhancements to KOSU taxiways and aprons, adds additional airport scenery/buildings, and increases the available parking from 15 ramps in the stock FSX airport to over 180+ ramps (based on actual airport parking).

I am very proud to present this Overland Japan / Simmer's Sky Airbus A321-231 in the US Airways NC livery. This is the newest A321 in US Airways fleet, delivered new to the airline in December of 2008 and bears registration N508AY. This A321 is a 231 model sporting IAE engines. The A321 is the medium-haul workhorse for US Airways and flies into most major US airports serviced by US Airways including; KCLT, KPHX, KLAX, KSFO, KORD, KMCO, KSAN among others. This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. All windows are custom, hand-painted, 3D with window shades. The night windows textures are custom as well. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. You must own the Overland/Simmer's Sky Airbus A321 to enjoy this repaint.

CYQT - Thunder Bay International Airport / Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada
This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and I've tried to fix that a little bit. This airport in particular had no commercial aircraft parking at all. I have also added the missing main terminal building with gates including the two jetways the real CYQT has. A number of spots for general aviation aircraft has also been added. A few small touches like cars in the parking lot and some birds near the airport were added as well.
I hope to do a few more of these as time permits, hope you enjoy!

All attempts were made to make this package as realistic as possible! Please note that the JPATS flight information is not published and information was obtained from a variety of sources to make them as representative as possible.
I highly recommend to tailor your AFCAD2s at the following airports : KOKC, KIWA and KAEX to ensure enough available parking is available using parking codes DOJ and RPN. I recommend you use the aircraft.cfg file that I included for my repaints as well as N501UW which was repainted by George Widener and is available here @ Avsim ---> jpats733.zip
Also, included are repaints for 2x - Boeing 737-400 and 8x - McDonnell Douglas MD-83s (ex-Alaska Airlines which replaced the former 727s).
Included are all JPAT flights operate under Callsign: JUSTICE IATA:DOJ

Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Airport (IATA: GAU, ICAO: VEGT), also known as Guwahati Airport and formerly as 'Borjhar Airport', is the primary airport of the North-Eastern states of India. It is the 11th busiest airport in India. It is located at Borjhar, 26 km (16 mi) from Dispur, the capital city of the state of Assam and 28 km (18 mi) from Guwahati and is named after Late Gopinath Bordoloi, a freedom fighter and the first Chief Minister of Assam after India's independence. The airport is managed by Airports Authority of India and also serves as an Indian Air Force base.

File Description:
AFCAD2 file for the Memphis International Airport (KMEM) V1.1. Adds many gates, also has correct concourses A, B and C. Contains current gate assignments for Northwest and other airlines. Also added the Fedex World Hub, Tennessee Air Guard, Signature Flight Support, and Wilson Air Charter parking. Runway 35 removed, taxiway P2 unavailable, and taxiway east of runway 36R/18L under contruction as it is today. Modelled after current airport approach plates (airport diagram also included for user reference) and author's flying experience. Also updates local airports. M01 corrected runway to new numbers, and added the new ASOS installed to KAWM. New version 1.1 fixes details on KMEM gate numbering, and taxiway procedures, added real parking at KDYR, KFCY, KPGR, KTKX, M04, M36, and M05. Previous version had over 1,200 downloads, pretty good to be an afcad2 file.

File Description:
Alpha Air was an independent LAX based commuter airline who began operating as a Trans World Express(TWE) carrier in the mid 90s. With a fleet of 3 B1900Cs, in a mix of TWE and Alpha Air liveries, the B1900s did a combination of flying to resort cities like Mammoth Lakes, South Lake Tahoe, and the Grand Canyon and commuter flying between SoCal airports like BUR, SNA, and PSP with the route network stretching as far East as Phoenix. Between 1994 and 1995, most of the commuter routes(all except LAX-PSP-PHX) were dropped in favor of adding flights between TVL and SFO several times daily, GCN was also dropped around this time. These plans combine 94/95 to represent all routes flown in the mid-90s. Also included are textures for the full fleet with 3 variations of the HTAI B1900C.

Reducing FSX Traffic speed - an Illustrated tutorial
One of the more "interesting" enhancements which Microsoft introduced in FSX is the vehicle traffic which can be seen on the highways around larger cities and airports. However many simmers feel the speed at which these vehicles travel is considerably too fast and therefore quite unrealistic. One simmer has even commented that he cannot overtake many vehicles when flying low and slow in the default Cessna.
It is quite easy to edit the speeds of such vehicles and the process has been documented in at least one forum post. However I thought it might be useful - especially for those not accustomed to working with command line interfaces - to have a tutorial available which illustrates each step.

FSX Scenery - Lawton Fort Sill Regional Airport (IATA: LAW[2], ICAO: KLAW, FAA LID: LAW) is a city owned airport two miles south of Lawton, in Comanche County, Oklahoma. It is used for military aviation from nearby Fort Sill and Sheppard Air Force Base and is served by American Eagle. Allegiant Air runs occasional charters to various destinations in the western United States. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011-2015 categorized it as a primary commercial service airport. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 77,533 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 71,389 in 2009 and 68,054 in 2010. The 2013 Federal sequester will result in the closure of the airport's control tower and will require pilots to rely on air traffic controllers from other area airports. The A321 is the medium-haul workhorse for US Airways and flies into most major US airports serviced by US Airways including; KCLT, KPHL, KLAX, KSFO, KORD, KMCO, KSAN among others. US Airways A321's service Caribbean destinations as well. This is a detailed repaint with custom textures, including some texture improvements over the US Airways A321-231 I recently released. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install package. The Project Airbus A321-211 model and air files are included. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Readme.txt for more details.
