UK Farm Strips Vol 3

File Description:
UK Farm Strips Scenery containing a further 20 private landing strips, all located within, and compatible with, the VFR GM Photoscenery coverage and prepared using the VFR Terrain Mesh. All strips reflect the topographical nature of the fields, so that users may experience the challenge of taking ofF from, and landing on, sloping runways. This scenery is not compatible with FS2002, or earlier versions. This third volume requires the presence of Vol 1 and Vol 2, since it uses objects provided with these initial versions, as well as a few additional objects. Farms in this volume are spread across the counties of Beds, Cheshire, Gloucs, Hamps, Herts, Herts, Kent, etc. Statics now include a number of Microlights.

Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7A Soundset for the Boeing 747 Classic

File Description:
My quest for soundset making is winding down. I have accomplished much in the last 2 years of sound design and I am proud that people enjoy my work. However, all good things must come to an end, so why not go out with a bang. I present to you, the Pratt & Whitney JT9D-7A, the Grandfather engine of the 747, in all of her noisy glory. Everything is in this set from startups, shutdowns, apu and system sounds, flaps, gear, touchdown, roll, and ofcorse the engines, all in stereo. If you know the quality of my soundsets then you will not be disappointed with this set. Recomended for use with the POSKY Boeing 747 Classics. Please Enjoy.

F16 Panel Air Show Tour V2 with Sound

File Description:
FS2004 Panel, F16 Air Show Tour v2 with Sound. This release adds custom sounds to this F16 panel to enhance realism for many of the new gauges. This includes mechanical noises for the various functions of the refueling gauge; sound for all fuel warning lights; sound for each of the six lights on the left warning pod, plus air deflection noises when the airbrakes are extended. All gauges including previous updates for v1, modules, sound files, and instructions needed for a complete installation are bundled with this version. FSX Carrier Operation Package V3.0

File Description:
This freeware archive contains a set of gauges, effects and sounds which you can add to tailhook-equiped aircraft in FSX, and enables you to perform takeoffs and approaches/landings on aircraft carriers (static AND moving !!). It features: (1): A catapult gauge, enabling a catapult-launch takeoff. (2): An arrester gauge, enabling a cable-arrested landing. (3): A IFLOLS gauge, enabling accurate approaches and landings. (4): A SonicBoom effect (visual and audible) plus controller gauge. Includes extensive installation/usage documentation. Requires prior installation of FSUIPC. Special credit goes to Doug Dawson; without his (included) interface gauges (a.o. for speedcontrol, lauch/arrest zone definitions and soundplaying) this package would not exist. By Rob Barendregt.

P-51D Mustang "Merlin's Magic"

File Description:
This is a photoreal repaint for Warwick Carter's P-51D Mustang Ver. 2. "Merlin's Magic" began restoration at Chino in 1982, first flying with the new markings in 1994, registered as N151SE. In 2000 she began racing at Reno, reaching 430+ mph her first race. Since then she has gone to the 2002, 2003 and 2004 Reno Air Races, placing 5th in Gold, and 5th in Silver. Unfortunately in 2006, while participating at Reno, the aircraft was highly damaged when high pressure O2 was put in a low pressure bottle in the rear fuselage and it exploded. The aircraft is now back in rebuild, and hopefully it will be seen in the skies again soon.

Pratt & Whitney JT9D V5 Soundset

File Description:
One of my all time favorites. I bring to you, the JT9D. No specific variants here to bore you with. This is about as generic as it gets but also as real as it gets. This is set #2 from my new brand of "Unreal" soundsets. It has everything the JT9D is famous for from its hollowed exterior spoolup to its throbbing interior grind. (Also perfect for takeoff thrust reductions. This set is compatable with the 747-100/200, 767-200, A300B4, A310-200 and DC-10-40. Another set thats proven to make the flight sim as real as it gets. Solo Around The World - Global flight of Dick Smith - 1982-83 (Stage 1)

File Description:
In 1982 Australian businessman and aviation enthusiast Dick Smith opted to fly his new Bell Jetranger 206B III back to Australia from the Bell Helicopter plant at Fort Worth, Texas. Nobody had ever flown a rotary-winged aircraft solo across the Atlantic and nor had they flown solo around the world. Dick was to accomplish both feats in 1982/1983. This package represents Stage 1 of the round-the-world flight; from Fort Worth, across to the eastern seaboard of the USA, to New York, on into Canada, to Baffin Island, Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Scotland and finally London, England, where Dick had a three-week holiday with his family before commencing Stage 2 - London to Sydney.

Royal Hellenic Air Force, Gloster Gladiator Mk 1

File Description:
The Gloster Gladiator Mk 1 was the last British biplane fighter, a development of the Gauntlet with an enclosed single seat cockpit, cantilever landing gear and with increased armament, and a 2 blade fixed pitch propeller. First flown in 1935, the Gladiator went into service with the RAF in 1936. The Mark 1 had a 830 hp Bristol Mercury IX engine. During 1937 the R.H.A.F. (E.B.A.) received two Mk 1, bought and offered by Mr.Sarpakis. These aircrafts were used for advanced training until 1940. Complete aircraft. The original model, created by Thicko Bielat and Morton (panel), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels and so on; navlights added. Completely new R.H.A.F. (E.B.A.)

Cock of the Sky Boeing B-17G

File Description:
This is a repaint (textures only) for the Donationware B-17G Late from FighterTown Design Group. You can get it here for a great price!! www.donationware.net Thank you FDG for providing this great plane!! Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints. This texture represents "Cock of the Sky" from the 710th Bomb Squadron, 447th Bomb Group. Cock o' the Sky is generally credited with 120 combat missions between May 1944 and the end of combat operations for the 447th in April 1945.
