The airline was formed in 1948 to undertake freight and passenger charters from Liverpool (Speke) Airport. It also provided joyriding flights in a fleet of twin-engined Avro Anson aircraft. The airline acquired a number of Douglas DC-3s in the early fifties to operate seasonal tourist charters and built-up a network of scheduled services from Liverpool including flights to continental European destinations (Lourdes, Biarritz). In 1957 the airline purchased the larger four-engined Douglas DC-4 with another example purchased in 1958. The first DC-4 charter was flown on 8 January, 1958 between Liverpool and Southend with football supporters. In 1959 the airline introduced the turbo-prop Vickers Viscount aircraft for use on inclusive tour flights. In November 1963 Starways signed a co-operation agreement with British Eagle International Airlines. Operations continued unchanged though, running schedules from Liverpool to Glasgow and Heathrow. However, on 31st December 1963 Starways ceased operating and on 1st January 1964 British Eagle took over all the former Starways routes. The directors of Starways retained the aircraft and formed a separate company named Aviation Overhauls and then either sold or leased the aircraft to other operators. Requires the default Douglas DC-3.

| New Vickers VC10 Panel, Part 4 - Missing bmp files |

File Description:
There were 2 missing bmps relating to Nav_Info from my 'New Vickers VC10 Panel, Part 4' (new_vc10_panel_project_4_maintenance_2.zip). In order for it to work correctly you need these files.
This project is based on David Maltby's panel. This update the first in the 50th Anniversary year of the VC10 (there are currently nine still flying) brings to fruition a number of extensive works in progress that have involved almost every gauge! The aircraft now has a fully integrated pressurisation and oxygen delivery system that conforms not only to the Flight Manual but also to ICAO regulations. Therefore cockpit mismanagement can potentially result in hypoxia! Besides this there are also a large number of new additions both in conformity with the Flight Manual and as extra visuals. It's now possible to "see" the Marshaller - There are new speed calls - and whilst you are preoccupied with your checklists the ground staff can be heard going about their business preparing for the flight as indicated also on the Ignition Panel. | PIA - Pakistan International Airlines (aircraft repaints included) - winter 2008-09 with Hajj flights |

File Description:
Flightplans and AI repaints of PIA ATRs, B747s and part of the B737 fleet. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is operating a fleet of ATR 42s, Airbus A310s and various Boeing aircraft on mainly domestic flights and flights to destinations in the Middle East and Asia. They also have some long distance flights to the USA, Canada, Great Britain and various destinations in Europe. The EU restrictions have been lifted again so in these flight plans the A310s are back on flights to European destinations. The flight plans are based on information from PIA's own website for the week 5th to 12th of January. At this time - apart from their regular schedule - PIA was also operating Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca) flights to Saudi Arabia which are included in the flight plans. Repaints of the whole ATR and 747 fleet are included as well as missing repaints of the 737 fleet. File for use with MRAI installer included.

| Air Siam McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 (HS-VGE) - Configuration Update |

File Description:
Air Siam DC-10-30 HS-VGE, a critical fix to properly render the rear starboard cargo door. The paint kit gave instructions on how to make several variants visible in FSX, and I missed these hints when I did this first Thomas Ruth DC-10 paint. Simply replace the original aircraft config entry with this one, and accept my apologies. Many more TR DC-10s are coming out of this paint shop, and they will be configured properly. Aircraft and paint kit by Thomas Ruth, repaint by Michael Pearson. My original file (tr_dc-10-30_bvg_hs-vge.zip) is required for this fix.

| Igloolik CYGT update (to FSGenesis 76m North Canada Terrain Mesh revision) |

File Description:
These are replacement bgl's and textures to correct the already posted Igloolik CYGT for use with the FSGenesis 76m terrain mesh for northern Canada. I noticed after posting that the PAPI were incorrectly positioned, and after fixing that I went on and updated the windsocks, added the wheeled roller/snow clearer that all gravel fields need in the north, and updated the signage to give the true headings for the runway. This is not stand-alone, and the presumption is that you have already downloaded and installed the previously posted scenery. Installation consists solely of replacing the existing scenery bgl's with the new, and adding the new signage textures.Any comments regarding further corrections that are required would be welcomed.

Following a remark from a Canadian simer that the speed gauges didn't provide the right True Air Speed (TAS) during cold weather conditions at very low altitude because the conditions make the True Air Speed (TAS) below the Indicated Air Speed I did change some values to get the correct TAS whatever are the weather conditions.

This (re-uploaded) fix will enable you to use my Fouga Magister F-GSHG , Dutch Historic Jet Association repaint ( fouga_f-gshg.zip )in combination with the
New Fouga Magister CM170 v1.1 by Andre Chancel and the Restauravia team. (fm_v11_9.zip at AVSIM)
Simply replacing two texturefiles and the aircraft.cfg will do the trick.
It wil correct the landinglight and the pilot .
