Pilot's Assistant V1.6.7

File Description:
Pilot's Assistant is an Excel multi-page spreadsheet providing information and calculations for flight planning (including fairly realistic fuel planning), navigating (including wind corrections, magnetic variations, lat long calculations, great circle routes), computing various kinds of speeds and altitudes, and executing common flying manoeuvres. It contains fuel/performance data for several popular aircraft, and is intended to be a useful learning and reference aid for several aspects of simulated flying. People without Microsoft Excel may find it useful to Zipdive before downloading.

Grumman J2F Duck

File Description: A 4:3 ratio 2D Panel created for SWingman's Grumman J2F Duck in FSX. There are two configurations. One has the normal Compass and Artificial Horizon Indicators, the other has Sperry Compass Heading Autopilot, Sperry AHI Pitch Autopilot and GPS. Both have new Popup windows for the fuel gauges, pedestal, and radios. I included some new gauges to allow mouse control of the Battery, Elec Fuel Pump, Magnetos, Engine Primer, and Starter in the Virtual Cockpit. The 2D instrumentation reflects the VC.

Baron Digital Engine Panel for FIP

File Description: For Saitek Pro Flight Instrument Panel. This folder contains two engine panels, digital type, for Beech Baron. The difference between the two panels is the position of the fuel tank gauge, oil gauges, trims, flaps and gears lights. The package includes a serie of coloured needles that can be changed easily, just replace the default needle by the one of your choice. Default needles are white for left engine parameters and blue for right engine parameters. Left tank needle is green (more visible), right tank needle is blue. Both Baron_digit_engine.xml provide: Manifold pressure, Fuel flow, Oil temperature, Oil pressure, Propeller RPM, Cylinder Head Temperature, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Fuel level for the left and right tanks, Pitch, Rudder and Aileron trims, Gears down and in transit lights, flaps positions and in transit lights.
