File Description:
Captain Igor Kringbrinsky of the "Special Air Service" will be piloting flight XX-C4 to " Special Area-61"
better known to pilots as " No-whereland".
As usual he is being moved to the base at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Airport (UASK) three days before the
flight. Using an old ANT-2 he will carry electronic supplies(????) and will also pickup on the way to the
different locations (To be known only before the flight) special personnel that work in these places and
who are coming out for vacations.
As co-pilot you will have to check the plane before the flight and since on this flight you are to be rated,
previous to becoming pilot-in-command for future flights, you will do all take offs and landings.---Carefully
study the maps given to you for the " secret" locations you will land before you reach Area 61.
These "locations" may be on "Roadways", mountains, valleys and even large airports-----
Sorry to say, the Weather this time of the year is "stormy and rain, thunder and high winds may be
expected....This is a hard Mission.

| Mandarin Airlines 1998 AI Package |

File Description:
Mandarin Airlines was a fully-owned affiliate of China Airlines based in RCTP. Today, Mandarin does mostly regional flying, but 1998 represented the final years of widebody operations for the carrier. The 747SPs were retired soon after, and the MD-11s and 747-400 gradually returned to China Airlines. Mandarin operated most of the US, Australian, European, and Middle Eastern flights for China Airlines at the time. Mandarin aircraft frequently swapped back and forth onto China Airlines routes and vice versa. As Mandarin had a small fleet, I elected to have Mandarin planes on Mandarin routes, but my China Airlines plans will also utilize Mandarin colors MD-11s on China Airlines routes, so the repaints in this file are required for China Airlines 1998. Swap out the aircraft as you see fit. Repaints by the talented Ranmori Scythe included for the FAIB 747-400, 747SP, and FSPX MD-11 included with flightplans by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. | AeroLyon 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
From 1996-2000, AeroLyon operated a single DC-10-30(with a 2nd being added in 2001) mostly between secondary French cities and the French Caribbean, with the occasional intra-Europe charter. These plans will work for the whole era, but I kept the DC-10 rather busy to ensure that all French cities that saw AeroLyon get used at least once. The aircraft usually makes a stop in France on the way to TNCM/TNCC or TFFF/TFFR then does the same on the way back. The only day the aircraft visits LFPO is Sunday, on the way back from a real charter that took place to LOWW in 1998. Jason King has painted the DC-10 on avsim as: "aim_dc1030_aero_lyon.zip". | Pacific Airlines (Vietnam) 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Pacific Airlines started with humble beginnings, a few 737s flying around Vietnam. In 1998, during the Asian Economic Crisis, the airline was operating with MD-80s from Taiwanese LCC U-Land Airlines, with a single aircraft wearing "Pacific Airlines" titles while the the rest of the flights were covered with planes in the standard U-Land livery. This is represented in these plans. Despite the humble beginnings, this airline went on to become Jetstar Pacific. Planes were swapped between Pacific Airlines and U-Land Airlines, so you will need both liveries for these plans. Please make a second aircraft.cfg entry for your U-Land MD-80 to make sure the aircraft used in these plans have the right callsign and parking codes. Lockheed JetStar (company designations L-329 and L-1329; designated C-140 in US military service) is a business jet produced from the early 1960s to the 1970s. The JetStar was the first dedicated business jet to enter service, as well as the only such airplane built by Lockheed.

File Description:
Textures only. Avro Arrow in 416 Lynx Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force. Real plane, real livery, but fictional that this livery was on this plane, as the real plane was never addopted into service.
Inspired by a repaint by Shane Strong (do a search for his repaints, some 190 quality paints!) on the Alphasim Voodoo, I undertook to replicate (nothing coppied from his work) the feel of that historic 'special' livery, on what the RCAF pilots SHOULD have been flying...the Arrow.
If you don't know this plane, or it's history, you really ought to do a search and check out it's story. Amazing, powerful, speedy, had many technological firsts, and many more which were being designed but never completed (imagine for instance it's missiles, which were basically simple AMRAAM's in the 60's)
Requires:Mike Stone's Avrow Arrow, get it at: http://www.pmstone.com/ or any of the usual big sites. Optional:"Version 2 Update" (edit/tweek, effects) by Bob Chicilo (got mine at Avsim).

File Description:
PLUNA of Uruguay was owned by VARIG, and aircraft were often swapped back and forth or operated in full VARIG colors as needed. By 1998, the 707 had recently left the fleet in favor of a DC-10-30 leased from VARIG and used for multi-stop flights to Madrid. There were 3 variations of the 737; standard, VARIG hybrid, and a special livery. Raphael Rodrigues has painted all 3 and I will be uploading them to Avsim this week. Note that some of the aircraft are scheduled for long ground times in Brazil, likely as maintenance was done there. Textures by Raphael Rodrigues included for the FAIB 737-200. Also note that sources say the DC-10-30 left the fleet in 1998, which would suggest a VARIG DC-10-30 covered these flights.
