Doolittle's Raiders North American B-25 Mitchell A/C No. 40-2267 Download

File Description:
B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2267, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #15. Pilot: Lt. Donald G. Smith, Co-Pilot: Lt. Griffith P. Williams, Navigator/ Bombardier: Lt. Howard A. Sessler, Flight Engineer: Sgt. Edward J. Saylor, Gunner: Lt. Thomas R. White. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Although little physical damage was inflicted on Japan, that day, the Japanese populace was demoralized, as suddenly, the war was brought to their homeland. Texture, and Damage Files included. Note the three windows in both port and starboard bulkheads. By revev. Enjoy!

C-27 Spartan Training Campaign Brize-Norton UK Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This package is a campaign with 26 single training missions from basic tasks (e.g. traffic patterns) to tactical operations (e.g. combat landings). The mission package is designed for the IRIS Battlefield Airlifter (Payware) but may be used also with other aircraft. The italian airforce is providing an Alenia / Leonardo C-27 Spartan for training and evaluation by Royal Airforce at Brize Norton. You are one of the pilots who is trained by an itlaian crew for basic and advanced operations at Brize-Norton Airbase. In the end You have to transfer the first brand new RAF C27 from Italy to UK. All locations used are default scenery. Eventually You have to adjust starting positions or waypoints if You are using special scenery for the theatre of operations. Content: Saved Flights for each mission (P3DV4 standard flights using IRIS Battlefield Airlifter with default liveries) Weather files for each mission (P3DV4 standard flights) P3D Flight plans (Default flight planner) Mission explanation and daily orders (PDF files) Addidional WP reference documents for low flying missions (PDF files) Read the mission documents, load the flights at P3D and fly them as often as You want. The Campaigns use the following locations: EGVN Brize-Norton Airbase, RAF air transport squadrons EGDN Netheravon Airfield, Grassstrip parachute Training and short landings on grass EGVO Odiham Airfield, Chinook Squadron, airdrop training area EGDL Lyneham, training area for landings (Closed down in 2010. Temporary open for this training) Areas surrounding Oxfordshire, Southhampton and Wales If You like it send a message. I have a couple of ideas for another missions. But it's a lot of work to do...

JELAIR - Maersk Air, Boeing 737-2L9 (OY-MBZ) - version 3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This aircraft (for FSX, with update-patch #2) is a simulated replica of Maersk Air's 'Pocket Rocket' OY-MBZ (a Boeing 737-2L9 a.k.a. 737-200/Advanced) anno 1989. It is designed for a screen-resolution of 1280x1024. Other resolutions have not been tested. It will NOT work correctly in FS2004 (FS9). It has been tested on Windows XP (32bit) and Windows 7 (64bit) only. It is designed to be as realistic as possible, and flight-experience from the real aircraft, as well as large amounts of documentation, have been used to get it as accurate as possible. It has a fairly advanced panel with many systems simulated, such as a passenger oxygen system, a cabin pressure system, anti-skid brakes, EPR control of each engine (with the possibility of asymmetric thrust), IVSI with TCAS, Sperry SP177 autopilot with working CWS and level-change button, active yaw-damper, Quality-of-flight index (so you can see how well you operate the aircraft), windshield wiper, custom flight-computer, automatic Vspeeds for takeoff and landing, takeoff trim calculator, master caution system, PAX simulator (if you make a mistake they may die), a JT8D-17 engine with slow spin-up time (do not idle it on approach). It features a relatively realistic random-failures/error simulation which will trigger, or de-trigger, any of a variety of possible failures/errors (from small gauge-errors to large engine-failures or cabin de-compression). The chance of a failure/error is very low (you may never even get one, but they can happen, so stay alert), maybe less than 1 percent chance per 24 hours of flight-time. It features engine-management simulation, so overheating an engine will cause it to fail (now you actually need to pay attention to the EGT during engine-startup, and have your finger ready at the fuel-cutoff switch just in case you need to save the engine from heat-damage). It features sounds recorded from the actual aircraft (OY-MBZ).

This is the third release of this JELAIR addon. A very big thank you to all the following very talented people that participated directly or in-directly in the production of this add-on: Original Model by Erick Cantu, Original Panel by Pablo Contouris, Original Panel BMP by Bob Scott, Original Panel Gauges by Ken Mitchell, Doug Dawson, Pierre Fasseaux, SPanel, www.FS2X.com, Original Sound by Christoffer Petersen, Original Textures by Henry William, FDE, various modifications and adjustments for aircraft type, as well as additional gauges and sounds by JELAIR

Okedokae Fan Jet Hi Sport Aircraft Download

File Description:
FS2002/2002 Pro Okedokae Fan Jet Hi From a suggestion by a fellow simflyer. This is a light, fast and manuverable sport aircraft. Fictional design but colourful. Excellent for VFR flying and moderate aerobatics. Full lighting and packed with animations. Very highly detailed inside and out. A fairly fast machine required due to model complexity. No panel and uses default sounds. by Ian Lawrence. Single seat ducted fan aircraft. Offers excellent visibility for VFR flying also good speed and mauverability for moderate aerobatics or travel to all those places you always wanted to see. Manufactured with pride by Okedokae Industries for the discriminating pilot to ensure they get the most from the purely personal flying experiance, this aircraft offers comfort and luxury for the solo flyer. The spacious interior is completely upholstered in the best simu-leather money can buy. The seat is built to customer specs, made from arid-o-plast (tm), the miracle 'stays dry no matter what the conditions' material. The seat is also fitted with it's own 'magnotomic adhesion surface' which bonds to the custom fitted flight suit thus eliminating the need for a bulky and uncomfotable harness. Though mainly for experianced pilots, given time, anyone can master this unique and fun vehicle.
