The Machine: A fully aerobatic, very-light Jet that compares to the Bede BD-5J, but heavier and sporting two instead of one TRS-18 turbojets. Up to Mach 0.47 and 650 NM of range, with a service ceiling of 25000ft. A low stall speed (for a jet) makes the aircraft good for short field operations. Certified for VFR operations only, yet includes a good avionics suite. This is a "Classic" aircraft featuring "Steam" gauges and radios. Yet, controls and systems are easy to operate. The History: The C-22J is the last aircraft to be adorned with the legendary Caproni name. Originally known as "Caproncino", then marketed as "Ventura". A very-light jet developed in the 1980s as a military trainer, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft. Powered by two TRS-18 turbojets fed from a dorsal NACA intake, the aircraft reached Mach 0.47 and was fully aerobatic. The airframe shows its origin in a glider design, the Caproni A-21 Calif. After the merger with SIAI Marchetti, the project was cancelled in favor of the SF-260. The Simulation - 3D Model: This aircraft ships with a 3-D cockpit, that incorporates realistic night lighting, in the form of a dim dome flood light, backlit gauges and luminous digital displays. The flight crew of 2 is affected by your input in the payloads menu of Flight Simulator, allowing to choose between male, female or empty seats. The Copilot Figure can be hidden with a quick click in the internal 3D view as well. The Simulation - Realism: This aircraft has been tuned with the invaluable help of Engineer Carlo Ferrarin, who created the real aircraft. Unique and one-off documentation has been kindly provided, and used extensively, for the creation of this product! Just like the real aircraft, the systems are simple and of easy operation. Engines can be started with the press of a button. Systems modelling allows the following of real-world checklists as closely as Flight Simulator allows. An in-sim checklist is included, as well as a full flight manual. The flight model is tuned with advanced aerospace techniques, resulting in a highly realistic aircraft, yet, it is very pleasant to fly, both during aerobatic displays or "A to B" cruising. CPS-NG (Concorde Performance System New Generation) is the successor to CPS-X, the essential flight preparation utility created in 2011 and discontinued in 2018. Since the end of its development, still present on AVSIM despite a large number of unavailable functions, it has been downloaded more than 3000 times. This new CPS opus will satisfy the most demanding Concorde simulation enthusiasts. CPS-NG now makes it possible to plan Concorde flights with the following simulators: FsLabs Concorde X for FSX, and P3D up to version 3. Colimata Concorde FXP for X-Plane and Gaston Reif's beautiful mod, Heritage Concorde Avionics Package. With these simulators, CPS-NG can export waypoints to INS, payload and fuel to aircraft. Like its illustrious predecessors, CPS-NG uses authentic Air France data and charts. It offers a map of the flight including the navigation points, the points to protect from the supersonic bang, on departure and on arrival The flight preparation stages are done in a user-friendly way. the subsonic levels are configurable, the anti-noise procedures are calculated as in reality. The loading of the plane is modifiable by the user in order to obtain the ideal centering. The fuel is calculated as in reality and its distribution in the 11 tanks of Concorde complies with the filling law of Air France and British Airways. CPS-NG like its previous version also offers the user a flight report in the form of a PDF document which contains all the elements necessary for the preparation of the aircraft. it also offers Concorde-specific settings such as initial climb angle, time until anti noise procedure, throttle levers angle during anti noise procedure, fuel flow, maximum pressure in P7, trim adjustment and everything a pilot and flight engineer could want for a perfect flight. CPS-NG also offers in the flight report, Take-off and landing forms in accordance with the real documents and the user has the choice between the Air France form and the British Airways one. Finally, CPS-NG allows the use of real-time weather from NOAA, personalized weather or the one generated by Active Sky 2016, Active Sky for P3D and Active Sky for X-Plane 11 or 12. In summary, here you have the ultimate tool for Concorde simulation. You dreamed it, we did it! Break the sound barrier.

RAF Keevil Download

File Description:
The airfield was built on a site previously ear-marked for the purpose in the mid-1930s. Consisting of 3 long concrete runways the airfield was used by the Royal Air Force and the United States Army Air Forces Eighth and Ninth Air Forces. In 1942 Keevil airfield was provided to the USAAF and it was assigned USAAF designation 471 (KV). Squadrons based at the unit transported military freight and supplies using C-47 and C-53 aircraft. RAF Fighter Command use Short Stirlings of Nos. 196 and 299 Squadrons RAF lining the runway at RAF Keevil on the evening of 5 June 1944 before emplaning paratroops of the 5th Parachute Brigade Group for the invasion of Normandy With the departure of the Americans, the RAF used Keevil beginning in March 1944 for 196 and 299 Squadron Short Stirling glider tugs of No. 38 Group RAF arrived followed by a large number of Horsa gliders, crewed by Army pilots of the Glider Pilot Regiment. The RAF Stirling aircraft were crewed by RAF, RCAF, RAAF, RNZAF and SAAF personnel and were engaged in SOE and SAS drops. largely in France, and in glider towing. Their involvement in the Normandy invasion of France and Operation Market-Garden is well remembered by Keevil and Steeple Ashton villagers. Casualties of army and air force personnel were heavy and a number of aircraft were lost. With the end of military control, Keevil airfield is virtually complete with all of its runways, perimeter track and many of the hardstands still in place. It is used occasionally for British Army and RAF exercises. The airfield is still frequently used by the RAF for training purposes such as air drops and parachuting, the gate is always locked and access is restricted to authorized key holders only. In September 1994 the Keevil Society, organised by Paul Vingoe, held a Commemorative Day to mark the 50th anniversary of the D-Day and Arnhem operations and to dedicate a memorial to all who served at Keevil, especially those who flew from there and lost their lives. KLVN - Airlake Airport - Lakeville, MN, USA Download

File Description:
KLVN - Airlake Airport beta version .4 - by Jason Boche This is an update of the default P3Dv4.5 KLVN airport. Aside from the original 12/30 runway, everything else at this airport has been completely ripped and replaced. Enhancements include: -Extended runway on each end to depict current configuration -Accurate taxiways including Hamburg Ave. and buildings representing the current general aviation hangars -Added navigational equipment on the field -Added a few asphault and dirt service roads -Added FBO and other buildings as close as I could match them -Added some general aviation aircraft, civilians, vehicles at the FBO and hangars, and two fuel trucks -Moved fuel station to where I believe it is currently according to Google maps with 100LL fuel trigger functional -Moved the windsock to accurate location -Moved the beacon to accurate location -Moved GA parking spots -Added trees around FBO and beacon -Added utility poles -Added a few square miles of Lakeville city, farm, and residential land class and autogen according to Google maps. This is probably the biggest improvement. It now looks like people live, work, and shop north/northwest of KLVN. -Reworked the runway 12/30 blast pads to what I believe is the "proper" method. Instead of freehand polygon asphault, they are now actual runway extensions on both ends with yellow chevron markings -Reworked the land class on the southwest end of the airport where I believe hangar expansion is intended. Prior to this, there was a sharp contrast between where the KLVN airport boundary ended and where generic farm landclass began which was right in the middle of the southwest taxiways and it looked bad. Now that whole region is grass and looks to be part of the airport parcel. -Minor building adjustments west of the FBO to better match actual placement. -Fixed a gap on the southeast end of Hamburg ave taxiway where it rounds the corner for the rwy 30 hold short line -Randomized the directional facing of some of the cars parked at GA hangars -Renumbered the parking spots 1-4 with #5 being the refueling spot -Reversed the start direction of parking spots 1-3. -Pulled the refueling parking "start" spot back because on start the engine cowling & prop were too far forward inside the fuel pump equipment -Added an autogen exclusion to the rwy 12 short final due to trees popping up on short final path. -KLVN tower viewpoint 25 meters above FBO. -Removed the perimeter fence around the entire field

California Pacific 2019 AI Flightplans Download

File Description:
California Pacific was the pet-project of eccentric millionaire Ted Vallas who was determined to overcome a near-decade of obstacles to bring scheduled jet service to the Northern San Deigo\Carlsbad area. The airline was founded in 2009, but ran into a laundry list of problems over the years. Initially, the airline had acquired an EMB-170 which was painted in the airlines own colors and kept at the airlines Carlsbad base(CLD\KCRQ). The initial plan called for 3-class service to destinations including SJC, OAK, PHX, SMF, and even SJD. However, a US government shut down ill-timed during the scheduled proving runs and certification process for the airline delayed the process indefinitely. After months of waiting, and paying for staff and the aircraft to the dismay of investors, the E170 was returned and used as a cooperate shuttle in Arizona in full California Pacific colors, though it never would return. The founder did not give up, however, and years later was able to circumvent the certification process by purchasing the operating certificate of ADI's Essential Air Service operation which connected Watertown and Pierre, South Dakota with Denver with a pair of EMB-145s. One of the EMB-145s was painted in full California Pacific colors and used to launch scheduled flights, this time initially to SJC, RNO and LAS with AZA instead of PHX later being added. However, the other EMB-145 was damaged after being struck by ground equipment in Pierre, SD and was grounded for the rest of the airline's life, causing all EAS flights to cancel soon after California Pacific had acquired the flying. The airline was stretched so thin when service started in November 2018 that the departure of a pilot in January 2019 shut the airline down, after just 2 months in operation. Flights were for months considered "suspended", with airport signage being retained at the destinations, but soon after the website was taken down and all hopes of re-starting the company seemed abandoned. These flights are based on an early 2019 schedule I found online, but the EAS flights were not listed. As the flights did not operate anyway for the most part as California Pacific, I elected not to include them. The schedule was changed several times in the airline's short history as it struggled to maintain an aggressive 30 minute ground-time between flights with just 1 aircraft. Flightplan Visualizer (FV) version 1.16.0. Copyright 2018-2020 by Pelle F. S. Liljendal ([email protected]), all rights reserved. FV comes with 765 pre-imported Commercial AI flightplans (+380 BizJet flightplans are available as a separate download). However you are able to import additional (AI) flightplans yourself. Once imported these (AI) flightplans can be visualized on a map-view, and the user will be able to search accross all these. Hence you can use the program as inspiration as to which routes to fly. E.g. you can search across all imported flightplans to find all flights in an A321 flying into/out from LDDU, or simply to look for all flights in a Boeing 747-8F. Simply run the included installer to install the software. The program will be installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flightplan Visualizer" and all datafiles will be installed into: "C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\FlightplanVisualizer". The program comes with a full manual explaining everything, and a 3 page quick manual to get you started. The first 3 times you run the program the quick manual will automatically open. While giving thanks, I also want to thank all (AI) aircraft-model creators, repainters and those who create all the flightplans ... our virtual sky would not be the same without your hard and dedicated work. - Added new form to download or install AIG flightplans (downloaded directly from the AIG-servers). The form will identify all flightplans that are newer than those already installed or flightplans that are not currently installed. You can simply double-click a flightplan and it will be directly installed without the need to first download the file, and then choose to import this file. - Both the new flightplan download- and the enable/disable flightplan- form contains a button which download- and show a list of defunct/renamed flightplans (obtained directly from the AIG forum). - If you create a user-Airline while importing a flight-plan, when you return to the import-form you will be asked if you want to use that newly created flightplan (saves you from having to open the airline-browser and search-for/select that user-airline). - Added Flightplan-, Airline- and Aircraft-filter to the top of the leg-search form to filter the items shown in the listviews. - The "Select All" and "Select None" buttons now only (de)select visible items (if a filter is active there might be more items not displayed). However holding SHIFT while pressing these buttons, ALL items will be (de)selected no matter if they are shown or not. - Replaced the two airport entry fields (in the leg-search form) with filter combo-boxes (MRU) so you can now enter a filter-text to filter which airports to include (the default filter is usign ICAO-codes so the old functionallity is preserved). - Added filters to search for legs with specific flight-numbers and/or served by aircraft with specific registrations. - When setting up a filter, sub-elements of the same type can now be separated by "/" so you only have to enter the type-name once (e.g. "country=dnk/nor/swe"). The pipe-char ("|") can be uses in stead if you prefer (e.g. "country=dnk|nor|swe"). - Now both "?" and "%" can be used as a single char wildcard in the filters ("?" is a DOS wildcard, whereas "%" is a SQL-wildcard). - Added "#" as a wildcard for a single numeric value (0-9) in filters. - Added "@" as a wildcard for a single alpha value (A-Z) in filters. - Improved detection of invalid filter-text, which changes the text-color into red, to indicatet that the filter is invalid. - The ISO3 country-code is now visible in the country combo-boxes in the leg-search form (these codes can be used in the airline- and airport- filters). - Likewise 3-char Region- and Sub-region -codes have been added to their respective combo-boxes (these codes can also be used in the airline- and airport- filters). - Saving the leg-search criteria will no longer require the input to be validated. E.g. you can now save the criteria where no aircraft have been selected. If you want to make sure that the criteria is valid for a search, please perform a search before you save the criteria. - Flightplan-filter added to the "Re-process flightplans" form. - Aircraft-filter added to the "Choose favorite aircraft-types" form. Also a few extra columns were added to the aicraft list-view. - The Decode-METAR/TAF form now allows the user to manually enter METAR/TAF messages, and the form can now be opened directly from the main-menu (in case you optain METAR/TAF from other sources and need to decode it). - Added a new button to the Randomizer form which lets you pick a random route (there is already a button to pick a random flight). The difference is the statistical chance of the chosen route. - Added 2 columns to the runways listview in the Airport-info form showing head/cross-wind based on selected wind-direction/speed (automatically updated from the obtained METAR report). - When accepting the result of a leg-search the previous used criteria (if different) are now archived. So you are able to load the 5 last used search criteria. - The Result-viewer form now have a "Top-most" check-box. When checked that form will be shown on top of all other windows. This allows you to have this form shown on top of other forms (e.g. if you need to enter data from a metar-message into the FMC in the simulator). - Many of the result-viewer forms now opens non-modal, meaning it can be displayed next to the window form where it was opened and you can switch between the two (you might need to use the new "Top-most" check-box for the best result). When closing the form from where the result-viewer was opened, the result-viewer will be closed as well. - Likewise the Unit Conversion form also got the "Top-most" check-box in case you want to display this window on top of another program (e.g. if you have paper-work with weight based on kg and you need to enter the weights into a FMC/MCDU that only accepts lbs (or vice versa). - The "Copy to clipboard" buttons on the METAR/TAF-decode form, and the Leg-Info form have been replaced by a "Show Report" button in stead. This new button will in stead show the text in the Result-viewer form (if you need to, it can be clipped to the clipboard from there). - Below the (left/right) list-views in the "Enable/disable flightplans" form you now find a label showing two numbers. The 1st number shows the number of items (flightplans) shown in the list-view, and the 2nd number (in the parentheses) shows the number of selected items. - When importing a flightplan where the aircraft-type can not be detected, the "lines" assigned to the "DUMMY AIRCRAFT" are now all automatically selected. So it is easy to just hit the "Change Aircraft type" button in case there is just a single, or multiple that should have the same type assigned. - Hoovering the mouse over the gate-markers in the Airport-info form, the tool-tip now contains the GPS-position of the gate. Likewise editing the gate the caption of the edit window contains the GPS-position. - Added airport size to "FS Comment" column in the "Nearby Airports" form. - Added line-breaks to the METAR/TAF tool-tips displayed in the Leg-info form (line-breaks also included in the report). - Fixed: There was a nasty bug in the "Legs" tab-page of the Airport-Info form where the same time-zone was used for both departure- and destination-airport when showing the departure-/destination-times as local times, even if departure- and destination-airports were in different time-zones. - Fixed: The value of the "Calculated flighttime" check-box in the leg-search form was not set to the loaded value. - Fixed: If one of your user-airlines had a blank callsign, it would list all airlines with a blank callsign as alternatives. Now it will only try to match non-blank callsigns. - Fixed: The METAR/TAF decoder was not able to correctly detect a fraction visibility if following variable wind (e.g. "210V290 3/8SM"). - Fixed: Some of the combo-boxes in the leg-search form were enabled for text-entry, where the user should only be able to pick a value. - Fixed: If "[None]" was selected and you executed a leg-search the "Edit" button remained disabled when you returned to the main form. - Data: While testing some of the new filters I saw a few erros in the aircraft data (e.g. a few freight aircraft had a non-zero passenger count and other minor issues like that), which were fixed. - Data: Thanks to Bruce Nicholson for bringing it to my attention that DC-9-15F was not being detected in version 1.15. Now all the DC-9 sub-variants should be detected correctly (e.g. 9-11/12/13/14...51 both pax and freight). The same better sub-variant detection was added to the DC-8's and DC-10's as well. - Data: Thanks to Aucery for bringing it to my attension that some of the (BizJet) aircraft were not being detected, or not being detected correctly. The King Air 250/300 should now be detected correctly as are Hawker-700/1000, Mitsubishi MU-300, IAI Astra Jet 1125, Cessna T210/T303, and Dornier 328JET/PROP. - Flightplans: All new/updated flightplans have been added to the installer, and all obsolete have been removed. In stead you can now specify the local folder holding AIG's airline logo's (if/when you are using AIG AIM on your computer for AI-traffic). If specified, airline-logo's will be obtained from this folder. - On the same note, I had to remove the menu-item to download AIG flightplans, as this program no longer have directly access to the AIG servers. For the same reason the menu-item to access the index with flightplans (up to summer 2021) was re-enabled. - In the past when opening the Airport-Info form it defaulted to show in-/out-going traffic for the selected flightplan or active leg-search only. Now there is a new setting where you can set it up to in stead default to showing all traffic in/out of the airport (the Airport-info form still contains a combobox where you maually can choose what to see). - "Owned aircraft" was renamed into "Simulator-aircraft", as these are the (flyable) aircraft you have available within your simulator of choise. - When choosing to use calculated flight-times in a leg-search, you can now specify a percentage-difference (between leg-time and calculated-time). Only when the difference between leg-time and calculated-time exceeds this specified value will the calculated time be used during leg-search (e.g. "only use calc-times if diff. exceeds 50%, otherwise use leg-times"). - Began using (aircraft) short-names many places where the program in the past used IATA/ICAO-code (e.g. when hovering the mouse over a route, or list of aircraft servicing specific airports when editing flightplans). Also added short-name columns to aircraft browser and when choosing favorites (these stil contains columns for IATA/ICAO-codes). - Pressing the "Usage" button when editing/viewing an aircraft-type or right-clicking an aircraft-type in the browser and choosing "View usage-report..." from the context menu, you will be shown a report that inform you how that aircraft-type is used: which simulator-aircraft are based on that type, which owned aircraft that have been marked as substitute for that type, which airlines are using that type (as carrier/operator), and finally in which (active) flightplans that type is used. - Items in airline-browser are now by default sorted by (airline) name, and the usage-column shows the size of the airline if its in use. If available a logo for the selected airline is displayed in the upper/right corner. - Improved performance when searching for ICAO-codes in the airport-browser. Also improved priority of the default selected item, in cases when an airport had a 3 letter ICAO-code, and another was using the same 3 leters for its IATA code. - When searching for ICAO/IATA-codes in the airline-browser, it will now prioritize non-defunct airlines, if multiple airlines share the same ICAO/IATA-code. - When enabling/disabling flightplans, you can now select all BizJet flightplans (those prefixed with "Bz_"), all Military (prefixed with "Ml_") or all Goverment (prefixed with "Gv_"). - Individual FP sub-folders can now be setup to leave (not move) defunct- and/or obsolete FP, even if the settings to automatic move these to the disabled folder is set. - Performing "Search legs" you can now filter on aircrafts you are allowed to fly via type-ratings ("Must be type-rated"). - Performing a substitute of a user-airline, that airline will remain selected (previously the list scrolled to the top, and selected the 1st item). - Added new check-box to "Search legs" that can exclude round-trips (legs taking-off and landing at same airport). - Airline/Aircraft-repaint -filter can now filter on size of airline (e.g. "size=major"). Size is determined from usage as carrier/operator in active flightplans. Airlines not in use by active flightplans are listed with a size of "unknown"). - Added GPS-conversion (deg deg,min,sec) to the conversion-form, as requested by a colleague. You can either manually enter lat/lon or look-up an airport to get it. There is both a primary lat/lon and a secondary, and the form will show the (GC)distance between these and the initial/final course. - Added new "Max airport-distance" for airport-redirections. At the same time added new feature when importing/editing airports to permanent change an airport. If used, it is not saved/handled as a redirection (can't be restored) but rather as a perpament change. - Reordered- and renamed some of the tab-pages in the Airport-info form. - Reordered the length/distance-fields in the unit-conversion form. - The Wind-calculator have been removed from the main-menu, in stead wind-calcuations can now be performed using the unit-conversion form. Also now the speed of the wind is always displayed as a positive value, and in stead the label will either say "Head-wind" or "Tail-wind". - Added new "Country list" menu-item in the misc-menu. Will list all countries twice (sorted by names, and sorted by ISO3-codes). - Showing airport-marker tool-tips on the main-map is now prioritized over showing route tool-tips. - Added "Min take-off fuel ("MTFL") field to user-aircraft weight-fields. As of now its not set for any aircraft in the database, however it can be estimated as 60 minutes of flight at cruise. - Moved several group-boxes of the settings-form to the 2nd tab-page, and added new fields for defalt simulator/logging-environment based on the File-prefix used when starting the program. - Also now the header-names that was previous fixed to "Rank" and "Traffic-density" can be changed, so the selectable 6 values can be used for something entirely different, if anyone have the need for this. If/when changed, these new names are shown when editing an airport, or when performing a leg-search (as the leg-search can filter on these fields). - MakeRunways (MkRwy) by Pete Dowson is challenged handling unicode in the scenery it scans/writes to XML. E.g. the Icelandic airport (BIFL) "Flúðir Airport" is exported by MkRwy as "Flúðir Airport". In this version FV will try to identify when this happens, and then it will fall back using the airport/city-names from the databases bundled with FV. This is not a perfect solution, but at least it improves the result. - Various minor changes and tweaks to multiple forms (e.g. Unit conversion form can now be closed with ESC, renamed log-archives and so on). - Fixed: If the main-form had an active flightplan filter when using the search-legs feature the flightplan combo-box still only contained the filtered context. Pressing the Clear button did not resolve the issue. - Fixed: Since adding support for the AIGFP file-format, there could be flights departing from- and arriving at the same airport (e.g. helicopter flights). In previous versions the calculated flights-time would only consist of taxi-out/in times. In this version the flightplan leg-time will now also be uses for the calculated time, when the same airport is used both for departure and destination. - Fixed: In some cases re-processing flightplans (resetting and performing redirection) could corrupt the flightplans and remove airport-data from the flightplans. This version will also try to add any missing airport-data to flightplans when re-processing them. - Fixed: Selecting "only show favorites" in the Search aircraft-type form would filter out all aircraft (including those marked as favories). - Fixed: In the leg-info form the fields to show times (Out, Off, On, In) were too narrow for multi-week flights, when showing the week-number (e.g. "TH7/14:37"). - Fixed: Issues when estimating cruise/taxi fuel-burn for user-aircraft, where in some cases some fields were not saved, and wrong calcuation if setup to show weight in Kg. - Fixed: In some cases wrong TimeZone was used when calculating local time for OUT, OFF, ON, IN-times. - Data: The airport redirection file ("UserAirportRedirect.xml") in the UserData folder have been updated to match the latest MSFS world update. However this new file is only installed by the installer if it does not already exists (in case you made your own changes), hence you need to delete this file manually prior to running the version 1.22 installer. - Data: Quite a few airports in the airport-database were updated (had wrong names due to issues with unicode-letters). Also some additional airports were added. - Data: The installer comes bundled with +300 airline-logos (optional install), and a separat package of +1400 airline-logos are avilable for download from AVSIM (in both cases these are encoded into a propriotary format using the ".CAL" extension). - Data: Added the P2F (Passenger-to-Freighter) versions of the Airbus A320, A321 and A330. Also added the package freighter versions of CRJ100 and CRJ200. - Data: Improved detection of Boeing 737-700/800 BCF/BDSF when importing flightplans utilizing these (passenger aircraft converted into freighters). Also improved a few other freighter detections. - Data: Changed a few (aircraft) short-names to either shorten them a bit, or make them "more readable". - Flightplans: All new/updated flightplans have been added to the installer, and all obsolete/defunct have been marked/removed. A total of 1599 active flightplans are bundled with the installer.

Flightplan Visualizer (FV) version 1.12.0. Copyright 2018-2019 by Pelle F. S. Liljendal ([email protected]), all rights reserved. FV comes with 540 pre-imported Commercial AI flightplans (+380 BizJet flightplans are available as a separate download). However you are able to import additional (AI) flightplans yourself. Once imported these (AI) flightplans can be visualized on a map-view, and the user will be able to search accross all these. Hence you can use the program as inspiration as to which routes to fly. E.g. you can search across all imported flightplans to find all flights in an A321 flying into/out from LDDU, or simply to look for all flights in a Boeing 747-8F. Simply run the included installer to install the software. The program will be installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Flightplan Visualizer" and all datafiles will be installed into: "C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\FlightplanVisualizer". The program comes with a full manual explaining everything, and a 3 page quick manual to get you started. The first 3 times you run the program the quick manual will automatically open. The actual download of the new installer is still a manual process, but the program will at least list the download-URL. The program remains backward compatible and can still read older flightplans, however these might “miss” some (at this time) non-essential information. As a result all “Wi18-19” and “Su19” (and a few “Su18) flightplans have been re-imported and have been bundled with the version 1.12 installer, using the new file-format. Added new "Generate redirection report" button to the redirection edit form. Pressing this button will generate- and display a report of all active pseudo airports and redirections per flightplan. Added new menu-item to re-process all flightplans, according to specified airport-redirections. The "UserAirportRedirect.xml" file bundled with the installer have been updated, based on output from the new "Generate redirection report". These updated airport-redirections have been used to re-process/update all flightplans bundled with the installer. Buttons have been added to the "Leg Info" which allows you to transfer data for a particular leg/flight from FV to SimBrief in order to kick-start your "paper work" for a flight to fly. The "Leg Info" form also got buttons to show decoded METAR/TAF, and the raw METAR/TAF is also embedded in the text copied to the clipboard (when pressing the appropriate button). In settings you can now speficy the path of the folder holding the files that MakeRunway generates (if not specified it will use the UserData folder). Once set to the folder where MakeRunway generates its files (e.g. the P3D folder), you only have to run MakeRunway, you no longer have to copy the 3 files to the UserData folder. A few new traffic-charts were added to the "Airport Info" form (traffic per: region, sub-region and country), and a combo-box was added to switch between inbound- and outbound-traffic. The "Nearby Airport" form that can be opened from the "Flightplan Import" form now have an extra comment-column with information about the non-pseudo/pseudo airports. The comment column on the airport tab-sheet of the "Flightplan Import" form now also contains more info about non-pseudo/pseudo airports. The Generic Randomizer form got a new button called "Pick random flight", which will display info for a flight, randomly picked from all flights for the selected flightplan, or last search. In the "Search legs" form, you can now enter multiple ICAO-codes (separated by comma) to search for flights to/from these (e.g. search for all flights to/from EBLG or ELLX, by entering "EBLG,ELLX"). If you press SHIFT while clicking the airport browser button, the selected airport will be added to the comma separated list. If you do not hold SHIFT, the list will only contain the newly selected airport. Added support for using FS Global Real Weather (FSGRW) as a Weather provider for METAR-messages (FSGRW does not support TAF-messages). To use FSGRW you must go to settings and specify a full path (including filename) of the file generated by FSGRW. When editing a flightplan the user will be warned if trying to close the form, if changes were made. The menu-item to generate report with all defuct-/obsolete flightplans have been removed from the main-menu, but can now be generated using a button on the "Enable/disable flightplans" form. Now all applicable authors are shown when hoovering the mouse over the flightplan combo-box when a search is active. In previous versions the "Edit" buttons next the flightplan combo-box (on the main form) was only active when a flightplan was selected. Now its also active when "[Last Search]" is selected. However it will instead launch the "Search Legs" form, where you can then edit the criteria of the search. A few airports and airlines have been added/updated in the data-files bundled with the updated installer to accommodate the additional bundled flightplans. The Beluga XL Freighter was added as well as many of the other aircraft were updated with various changes. Added support for a bunch of military aircraft: A6/AE6, A10, C5, C17, E2, E3, EF2000, F14, F15, F16, F18, F22, F35, F111, F117, JAS39, KC10, KC135, MiG 21/23/25/27/29/31, Mirage III/5/2000, Rafale, SU 17/20/22/24/25/27/30/32/34, V22. New "Exclude military aircraft" setting have been added (defaults to true). When true military aircraft will not be shown (can be changed in the settings form). Added new menu-item to load/display current log-file. FV tend to be somewhat memory-hungry while (re)loading all active flightplans, and you might see a peek in memory consumption. But from this release and forward it will try to free up most of the memory once all flightplans have been loaded. Minor changes to the "Enable/disable flightplans" form, to make it more responsive, and added a progressbar that is visible while flightplans are being moved, copied or deleted. Fixed: issue when trying to import a flightplan zip-file containing multiple "Flightplan_XXX" files. If the same zip contains multiple sets of matching files (Flightplan, Aircraft and Airport) the user will now be presented with a combo-box from where the user can pick which set of files to import (only the flightplan-file will be shown). Fixed: The file "f5.csv" was missing from previous installers. Fixed: issue with pseudo-airports when using the "Nearby airports" tab-sheet in the Airport Info form. Fixed: Saving a flightplan that was edited, it would try to save it in the (flightplan) [ROOT] folder even if it was loaded from a sub-folder. Now it will always try to save it in the same location with the same filename. If you want it saved elsewhere/with another filename use the "Save As" button in stead. Imported flightplans will still be saved to the [ROOT] flightplan folder. Fixed: Pressing ENTER in the Flightplan import/edit-form while the comments-field had focus, would close the form (saving the flightplan). Fixed: Result-viewer will no longer display with all text selected. Fixed: METAR/TAF decoder will no longer display with raw-message selected. Fixed: In some cases the program needed to be restarted if changes were made to the weather-provided data in the settings-form. air algerie leased an a340-300 from hifly The Airbus A340 is a long-range, wide-body passenger airliner that was developed and produced by Airbus. In the mid-1970s, Airbus conceived several derivatives of the A300, its first airliner, and developed the A340 quadjet in parallel with the A330 twinjet. In June 1987, Airbus launched both designs with their first orders and the A340-300 took its maiden flight on 25 October 1991. It was certified along with the A340-200 on 22 December 1992 and both versions entered service in March 1993 with launch customers Lufthansa and Air France. The larger A340-500/600 were launched on 8 December 1997; the A340-600 flew for the first time on 23 April 2001 and entered service on 1 August 2002. Keeping the eight-abreast economy cross-section of the A300, the early A340-200/300 has a similar airframe to the A330. Differences include four 151 kN (34,000 lbf) CFM56s instead of two high-thrust turbofans to bypass ETOPS restrictions on trans-oceanic routes, and a three-leg main landing gear instead of two for a heavier 276 t (608,000 lb) MTOW. Both airliners have fly-by-wire controls, which was first introduced on the A320, as well as a similar glass cockpit. The later A340-500/600 have a larger wing and are powered by 275 kN (62,000 lbf) Rolls-Royce Trent 500 for a heavier 380 t (840,000 lb) MTOW. The shortest A340-200 measured 59.4 m (195 ft), and could cover 12,400 km / 6,700 nmi with 210–250 seats in 3-class. The most common A340-300 reached 63.7 m (209 ft) to accommodate 250–290 passengers and had a 13,500 km / 7,300 nmi range. The A340-500 was 67.9 m (223 ft) long to seat 270–310 over 16,670 km / 9,000 nmi, the longest-range airliner at the time. The longest A340-600 was stretched to 75.4 m (247 ft), then the longest airliner, to accommodate 320–370 passengers over 14,450 km / 7,800 nmi. As improving engine reliability allowed ETOPS operations for almost all routes, more economical twinjets have replaced quadjets on many routes. On 10 November 2011, Airbus announced that the production reached its end, after 380 orders had been placed and 377 delivered from Toulouse, France. By the end of 2021, the global A340 fleet had completed more than 2.5 million flights over 20 million block hours and carried over 600 million passengers with no fatalities. The A350 is its successor; the McDonnell Douglas MD-11 and the Boeing 777 were its main competitors. Lufthansa is the largest operator and the largest customer with 34 A340 aircraft in its fleet.

RAF Bassingbourn is a former Royal Air Force station located in Cambridgeshire approximately 3 mi (5 km) north of Royston, Hertfordshire and 11 mi (18 km) south west of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England. RAF Bassingbourn was constructed by John Laing & Son between 1937 and 1939 in the parishes of Wendy and Bassingbourn immediately to the west of the A14 (now the A1198) road. The site selected was low ground between several tributaries of the River Cam. The area had been long cleared of forest and tended to be swampy and unstable, and because the boggy ground produced a persistent mist over the large meadow the site was considered ideal for airfield camouflage. During the Second World War it served first as an RAF station and then as a bomber airfield of the Eighth Air Force, of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF). It remains the home of the Tower Museum Bassingbourn. From 19 August 1942 to 25 June 1945, Bassingbourn served as headquarters for the 1st Combat Bombardment Wing of the 1st Bomb Division. It was assigned USAAF designation Station 121. The RAF resumed occupation of Bassingbourn on 26 June 1945, the airfield was officially returned on 10 July 1945. The station became one of the main airfields for long-range transport aircraft. In 1948 and 1949 Avro York, Avro Lancaster and Douglas Dakota aircraft from the base took part in the Berlin Airlift, a massive operation transporting essential commodities to the beleaguered city. In February 1952, RAF Bassingbourn received its first allocation of English Electric Canberra bombers and became the first jet bomber operational conversion unit (OCU) in the world. Canberras operated from Bassingbourn for 17 years and one of the aircraft is on static display in the Barracks. From 1963 to 1969 the Joint School of Photographic Interpretation was also located there. On 29 August 1969, the last RAF Commanding Officer, Sqn Ldr A.M. McGregor MBE, turned over the station to the British Army as Bassingbourn Barracks. The barracks were established, on the site of the former RAF Bassingbourn airfield, in January 1970, as the new Depot for the Queen's Division. The depot was responsible for training recruits undergoing their 19-week basic training before joining a regular battalion; in 1993 the Barracks were re-designated the home of the "Army Training Regiment, Bassingbourn" and remained as such for nearly 20 years. Bassingbourn Barracks closed as an army training location in August 2012. The site was reopened for training Libyan soldiers in 2014 but closed down the same year. Since approximately 1970 the site has retained its RAF links by being the home of 2484 (Bassingbourn) Squadron Air Training Corps.
