| VARIG 1998 |

File Description:
In 1998, VARIG was still a huge legacy airline, but routes and frequencies were starting to be cut, which continued into the 2000s until their 2006 demise. MD-11s, DC-10-30s, and 747-300s mostly served long-haul routes such as NGO, NRT, LAX, MIA, JFK, MAD, BCN, LHR, CPH, ect, while the 767s did longer South America routes as well as CUN/MEX/JFK/MCO/MIA as well as flights to Spain and Portugal. VARIG's "around the world" GIG-GRU-JNB-BKK-HKG-BKK-JNB-CPT-GRU-GIG flight was flown with an MD-11 at the time, and I have assigned it to the "World Cup" livery MD-11, which means you will not see the aircraft much in Brazil but it will pop up abroad. VARIG flew many "tag on" flights, like LIM-LAX-NRT/NGO, LHR-CPH, MAD-BCN, MIA-MCO, ect, and there are many, many GIG-GRU and GRU-GIG flights that were part of international routes with no ticket sales in between. Between 0500 and 0700, there are many widebodies making this short flight. The 737-300s flew all over Brazil and to some South American countries. Rio Sul, who did the flights to CGH and SDU, is not included was released seperately on Avsim as "rio_sul_1998.zip". Though VARIG livery 737-300s flew on behalf of Rio Sul, Nordeste and PLUNA, those flights are not included and are included in those respective airlines. An MD-11 and a 737-300 were painted in special colors to celebrate the World Cup, and a 767-200 wore a special Star Alliance livery. The 747-300 in the Star Alliance colors only had them applied to one side of the aircraft and never flew revenue service in that livery, so it is not included. The rest of the fleet wore a mix of the 1997 introduced livery and the 1980s blue and white colors with the silver belly. The entire fleet on the FAIB 737-200, 737-300, 747-300, 767-200 and 767-300,and FSPX MD-11 by Raphael Rodrigues is included. File Description:
Cuzco or how is also formally known today as “Cusco” is one of the most important cities of Peru and is the historic capital of the Inca empire, it is also the historical capital of Peru designated by its constitution. The city is located in the Andes mountains and its elevation is above 3310 metres or 10860 feet above sea level. The city is nearby the ancient historical symbol of the Incas, Machu Picchu which is about 80 kilometers from Cusco, which became one of the New seven wonders of the world back in 2007.
This airport (SPZO) or (CUZ) has a visibility restriction and only operates during daylight due to the requirement of a visual approach to land. The aircraft operate mainly in one direction of flight in and out of this airport, they land on runway 28 and depart on runway 10. During weather situations in which no visual approach can be made the airport is closed until the weather gets better. No pilot dares to land with an overcast sky into an airport completely surrounded by mountains and no precision guidance navaid in order to assist for the landing. Therefore all landings conducted are SOLELY visual, and strict VFR rules apply. American Airlines (AA) briefly operated in this airport in the late 90’s and the word out there was that they kept doing miss approaches having difficulties with the approach, so it is widely known to be an airport dominated by veterans of the Cuzco approach, mainly Peruvian pilots or Andean pilots that know how difficult it is to have such restrictions. This is certainly the Madeira or the Innsbruck of all Latin American airports, it would be wise to say that this one is harder due to the lack of a precision approach. And by the way the largest aircraft permitted to operate here is a B757-200, however, anything bigger than a B737-200 needs government approval.

This file will upgrade my ELVA Boeing 767 Pack to version 3. Version 3 includes some major and minor updates. It also adds new features: Heat Haze (shimmer) effects plus smoke effects by Martyn Becker, Reverser Spray Effects by Edward Cox and Takeoff Spray effects by Dennis Franke. Fly UK Virtual Airways liveries are also included for Fly UK members to use as well. I have also created a low spec system option so that low spec users can use my boeing packages but with less features. See the readme file for more details. Air Rhodesia was originally formed as a subsidiary of Central African Airways in June 1964, but became an independent corporation on September 1, 1967. This V.748D (C/N 100) was built for CAA as VP-YNC and first flew on Thursday, 24 May 1956. In 1979 it was painted in grey anti-missile livery after a SAM attack on Viscount VP-YND (C/N 101), and fitted with deflectors on the engine jet pipes to try and prevent a SAM missile from locking on using its heat sensors. In conjunction with special operational procedures when climbing and descending, they achieved the desired safety effect: no more aircraft were lost to missile attacks. Compiled from actual 767 performance manuals and load sheets
this MS Excel Spreadsheet allows you to calculate Fuel required
with factored fuel burn for headwind and aircraft weight with respect
to trip distance including alternate. It produces a fully annotated
load sheet with ZFW, TOW and LW clearly indicated.
A Takeoff Card sheet provides Takeoff N1 for Derate 2, Derate 1
and Full Power Takeoffs, together with the balanced field V speeds
for current airfield pressure altitude and temperature.
A Performance Sheet provides Regulated Take-Off Weights (RTOW) for the
following factors:
Field length Weights allowing for runway slope %, wind component
pressure altitude and temperature. The Climb Limit weights give the
limiting weights for the above factors together with packs on/off
and engine and or wing anti-ice applied.
All sheets can be printed.

File Description:
Active AirSource (AAS) is a small stand-alone program that runs while you fly Microsoft Flight Simulator (FS2000, FS2002, FS2004). It records and sends data from Flight Simulator directly to the AirSource website (http://air-source.us) via the use of FSUIPC module and Microsoft's MSINET.dll. This functionality will allow pilots to fly and be seen on the Active AirSource flight boards. In addition, pilots will be able to increase their v-salary by filing their flights as "AAS Certified", since flights are verified through the program as "authentic flight time". Active AirSource (or AAS) runs in either multiplayer OR single player mode in Flight Simulator.

cfs2/Bell P39Q Airacobra 100 29004 Soviet. Painted over The B24 Guy's P39D Overhaul Model. Flown by: Lt. Col. Aleksandr Ivanovich Pokryshkin, 16th regiment (16 GIAP), summer 1944. Col. Pokryshkin was an Ace with 55 victories (at the time he flew this aircraft). This aircraft is decked out with the "Victory Stars" as the national emblems (red star with white outline with yet another fine-lined red outline). The victory stars began to become popular in 1944, and went on to be the present day national insignia. Note the variety of displayed national insignia. For more information regarding Col. | FU3 Outer Terrain Tag File Information |

File Description:
These Excel spreadsheets contain information about the contents of the outer terrain's 3 tag files:
- outtaga.tag
- outtagb.tag
- outtagc.tag
The file outer_tag_offsets.xls contains a complete list of the file offsets of each file within the three tag files, i.e. the starting position (as byte number) of the level 0, level 2, level 5 .geo files and corresponding gtl files within each tag file. The last three columns of each worksheet contain the relevant information: filename, file position, and file size.
The file outer_tag_x&y.xls lists all the L0 .geo megatiles within each tag file and provides the position of each megatile within the OT region as an X and Y co-ordinate. Columns K, T, U and V provide the relevant information.
These spreadsheets may be of use to anyone wishing to develop the outer terrain region.
