Dallas, Texas Love Field (KDAL) - AI Greyhound Bus Shuttle amd Scenery

File Description:
Dallas, Texas - Love Field (KDAL) Shuttle Bus Service. This package adds a fictional Shuttle Bus service (using an AI Greyhound Bus) from the GA side of the airport to the Main terminal. It is designed to compliment the Sikorsky S-76C Helijet Shuttle service - dallashj.zip and s76_dhj.zip - available from this site. At the Bus Shuttle starting location, and along the bus route, there are a few scenery enhancements created with the EZ Scenery Object Placer program. All necessary files - other than the AI Greyhound Bus - are included. This scenery is presented not only as an interesting addition to the KDAL airport, but also as a “case study” to help you add the same type of service in other suitable locations. By studying the Afcad I have created, you will quickly see how it is possible to include AI Bus service in your sceneries using the "invisible” airport technique. Please unzip this package (using folders option) to a temporary folder and carefully follow the simple installation instructions.

MeatWater LAGO Twotter AddPack 1.0

File Description:
This vintage package will definitely beef up this old bird. What you get: • a complete set of "old and rugged" 2D cockpit graphics! The cockpits will look like they'd taken many beatings over years of service - just like real old bushplanes. There are plenty of pictures on airliners.net that show that these aircraft don't always look as new as the standard LAGO cockpits. Even the clock on the pilots side has a broken glass... • a complete set of virtual cockpit textures that match the new 2D textures! • all amphibian versions now feature a custom built gear light on the left panel side in both 2D and 3D cockpits! • you are still able to chose what aircraft should keep their new and shiny cockpits • new clickspots on the 2D panels: open the overhead by clicking on the window strut, close it by clicking in the lower left corner. Also, there are new fuel cutoff clickspots above the condition levers The installation is very easy: simply run the installer.

Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer Swiss Air Force A-926 & A-937

File Description:
Aircraft in the beautiful new Swiss Air Force livery,it's the first PC-7 with the new colors, the black is the prototype to the retrofit.The Pilatus PC7 Turbo Trainer originally flew on April 12 1966, this initial version was essentially a modified Pilatus P3 with a 550SHP PW&C PT6A-20 Turboprop, and failed to attract any sales until 1975 when the PC7 appeared with the PT6A-25 engine (of 650SHP) and a whole host of improvements. Since that time the PC7 has proven to be a capable trainer, and has since been superseded by the more capable PC9, and recently the PC-21, however the PC7 still continues to serve well in the training role of various air force's worldwide. This model has been fully constructed with FSDS v2.11 and it uses many common parts from my Pilatus PC9 Project (@ www.aussim.com). Textures only, requires original aircraft by David Friswell to www.aussim.com .

Christchurch, UK circa 1944

File Description:
Christchurch began its existance in 1926 when a field known as Burrys field near Mudeford, Christchurch UK was used for pleasure flights.In 1935 airfield became known as Bournemouth Airport. Christchurch Airfield was therefore the original Bournemouth Airport. In the early March of 1944, the USAAF arrived as the 509th, 510th and 511th Fighter Squadrons of the 405th Fighter Group. The squadrons flew P47 aircraft on raids over occupied France. All the 405th units left for airfields in occupied France shortly after D-Day. Production of Mosquitos, Horsa Gliders and the Oxford was undertaken here during war time and post war the Airspeed Ambassador and the DH Sea Vixen. Hurn is now "Bournemouth Airport". Christchurch was closed in 1964 and after some years the site developed for housing. Regretably there is no Memorial to the airmen who flew from here or any reminder of their sacrifice. Many people I have met who live on what was the airfield have no idea that it ever existed!

Leeuwarden Airbase 'EHLW' V2.0

File Description:
Detailed and accurate yet framerate friendly scenery for the Leeuwarden Airbase also known as "Fighter town Europe". (ICAO designation EHLW). Leeuwarden is one of the two Main Operating bases (MOB) of the F-16 fleet. It has two F-16 squadrons (322 & 323) and one SAR squadron which flies the AB412SP helicopter. The annual exercises Frisian Flag, DWIC en FWIT are held on this airbase. The following items are changed/new with version 2. Added new ILS for rwy 09/27 (This is ILS installation from Twente AB, which will be closed), including new ILS glide slope antennas for 09/27 and localizer antennas for all runways. Added barrier's to the runways, tuning in the ILS freq will put the cable up at the end of the runway! Upgrade and cleanup of the texture to improve frame rate. Optimalization of macro's to reduce polygon resulting a slightly higher frame rate. Also now included an AFCAD file. Scenery is compatible with default scenery and the NL2000 scenery.

Turangi Airfield, New Zealand. NZTN. Version-2 UPDATE and FIX.

File Description:
Welcome to Turangi Airfield, 1nm North of the township of Turangi, at the southern end of the beautiful Lake Taupo, in the central North Island of New Zealand. The airfield is home to the Turangi Aero Club, and is served by Mountain Air, undertaking tourist flights around the National Park and central North Island volcanoes, and flights to the Chateau and skifields at Mount Ruapehu. This scenery is built to fit into the freeware "Turangi" photoreal area scenery by Robin Corn, freely available from avsim.com, filename...... godzoneturangi.zip . This version corrects an error i made in the first scenery, when i accidentally mixed some pictures of another airfield in with the Turangi pictures i was using for building. It corrects the type of buildings, and their locations on the airfield. Update also adds a few other detail changes and additions. This is a TOTAL replacement for my previous scenery. Requires some EZ Scenery Object Sets (see INSTALL instructions for details).

ROC (Taiwan) AF Lockheed TF-104G Starfighter

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Lockheed TF-104G Starfighter in the livery of 12th Reconnaissance Unit, 499th Tactical Fighter Wing, ROC (Taiwan) Air Force. Models and textures included. Gauges and effects from the original package (F-104J.zip) required. Original package by Kazunori Ito, Simone Pratticò, Erick Cantu, JR, Manolo Machuca Medina, Jim Johnson, and Gianfranco Michele. Repainted by Mike Huang.

This aircraft, manufacturer serial 63-08458 and ROCAF number 4186, was formerly number 2760 at the Luftwaffe. It had the distinction of being the "last Starfighter" in ROCAF, for having participated in the last flying mission of the entire fleet on May 8, 1998. It also appeared during the decommissioning ceremony on May 22, 1998, where two pilots turned on its engine and taxiied the aircraft for the last time. From May 17, 1960, when the first F-104A and B were delivered, Starfighters served with the ROCAF for 38 long years.

Marcel Dassault Mirage IIIEA Fuerza Aerea Argentina I-019 flew by Lt Carlos Perona the 1th May 1982 and shot down by FRS.1 Harrier of 801th Squadron(Lt Paul Barton) near Pebble Islands during the Malvinas(Falklands)war. Dardo flight with I-015(Cpt Gustavo García Cuerva) and I-019(Lt Carlos Perona) was intercepted by the Royal Navy Harrier's and after the fight, the first was shot down by mistake by the DCA defenses of Puerto Argentino.I-019 was delivered with the second batchof IIIEA's in October 1980.I-015 and I-019 were the only IIIEA lost in the war. This model is also a complement for the Just Flight Harrier Jump Jet addon and can utilise the panel and sound.Also Included the missions of the 1th May 1982.(Both RN and Fuerza Aerea Argentina). In memoriam to Captain García Cuerva and many others were lost our life on duty in this tragic war.

EBAW2004 Deurne, Antwerpen (Belgium)

File Description:
The airport:
FS2002/2004. Is situated on the western edge of the city of Antwerp and is the home base of VLM Airlines (Vlaamse Luchtvaart Maatschappij). On one side, the airport is enclosed by a residential area, on the other side by an old fort (which is a protected area) an a major district road. All these factors make that the runway is pretty short and a challenge to land on with a larger jet, like a 737 for example. Extra info about this airport can be found on the net : http://www.antwerpairport.be/ Members of FSCB (Flight Simulator Club Belgium), together with the airport authorities made it possible for me to have a guided tour on the airport so I got the opportunity to make pictures of each and every building. This together with other information that people sent to me, I had all the ingredients to make a scenery to what it has become : an exact replica of the real Antwerp airport.

Saab 340B Freighter

File Description:
Saab 340B Freighter Complete ... Two variations - actually a very slight difference between the two .. one is a factory version ... meaning that there were never any window ports cut in. The second is a "in field" conversion ... meaning that a former passenger version was converted to pure freight with the outlines of the ports still visable as "plugs were used to blank out the windows. Pictured are the two versions painted for my freight service, however both textures included are "blank" ... without any markings or "N-numbers" - ready for you to customize to your liking. The one photo I found at the official Saab site was of the Factory Version which had the word CARGO emblazened on the side... I skipped that part, figuring once in service, the lack of windows would be a pretty good clue that it was a freight only. Pilots and ground crews are pretty smart ladies and gentlemen... and they tend to be quick on the up-take.
