| Vietnam Airlines 1998 |
|
File Description:
Vietnam Airlines was the flagship carrier of Southeast Asia in 1998, offering the only longhaul flights in the Vietnam region. The 767-300 was the flagship at the time, serving some major Asian cities as well as Europe and Dubai. A320s did most of the intra-Asia flying while the ATR-72s and Fokker 70s stayed within the Vietnam\Cambodia area. The flightplans called for 1 extra 767 and Fokker 70, and 2 extra ATR-72s which I have segregated in case you wish to delete them. Michael Pearson has done all the paints. I have included a "version 2" or "v2" paint where he has been kind enough to give us 2+ variations for a livery. If you wish, just assign 1 texture to both to save space. I have included the filenames to all the paints in the "Read Me". Flightplans by Chasen Richardson as part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. Follow us on Facebook at facebook.com/flightsim98. | Hawaiian Air ATR 42-300 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the great ISDT ATR 42-300 V2 in the Fictional livery of the real world airline Hawaiian Air. Hawaiian Air has been providing services to the islands of Hawai since 1929 in one form or another and is still a well patronized airline. The plane has been tested in FS9 ONLY and works well. Should you wish to try installing this plane (made for FS9) into FSX, you do so at your own risk. The package comes complete with a custom panel by Antonio Bucoli which provides the needed gauges and sounds for this plane. Both the Gauge and Sound files are included together with install instructions. The panel is already apart of the plane. Installation, Distribution Limitations and my contact can be found in the ReadMe File. Be aware that there are 3 ReadMe files and ALL of them should be read. Please note, if you look at the attahed pictures and see the nose doors are white, do not fret - they are actually the blue of the fuselage in the textures.

| South African Airways Boeing 737-244 (ZS-SIH) |
|

File Description:
South African Airways (SAA) is South Africa's largest domestic and international airline company with hubs in Cape Town and Johannesburg. It was formed in 1934 as Union Airways which was subsequently taken over by the South African government and later took on its current name. In 1968 SAA entered the jet-age with the introduction of the Boeing 737 replacing older piston-engine aircraft. This is one of 8 passenger 737-200's still operated by SAA, a 244 model wearing registration ZS-SIH. If you want to light up your 'mouse' at night, I recommend Matthew Lue's Tinmouse II lighting effects (AVSIM DLID 89742).
This is a textures only package; you must have the Tinmouse 737-200adv v2 base package and updates available here at AVSIM (tinmouse_ii_v1_25.zip). The textures in this repaint are 32-bit with no mips. I want to dedicate this repaint to a former South African Airways Captain and current Nationwide Airlines First Officer, Mr. Martin Sons. NOTE: This is a re-upload due to the AVSIM site compromise.

| DHC-2 Beaver Smoke With Control Gauge |
|
File Description:
This xml gauge and effect package automatically controls the light smoke effect in the DHC-2 Beaver by simply accelerating the throttle. The DHC-2 Beaver will automatically emit a very light smoke effect at a Manifold Pressure reading of 32(+) or greater, depicting a hard running engine. Reducing the throttle level for cruising (MP30-32) or less for descents deactivates the smoke effect.
Even though this xml gauge and effect file works perfectly well by itself, when used in conjunction with my dhc2_fx.zip, all the bases are covered. Smoke automatically engages for cold air temps and with this xml gauge, smoke engages as a result of high manifold pressure (eg. when taking off or climbing). The two work together very nicely without any conflict.
Designed for the FS2004 DHC-2 wheeled Beaver by Steven Grant, Fred Choate, and Aaron Swindle. In the AVSIM library-- dhc2_04w.zip --
Also works with the DHC-2 De Havilland Beaver Amphibian v2 that was made for FS2002, but works equally well in FS2004. In the AVSIM library-- dhc2ampv2.zip --
The README file includes complete instructions.

| Cubana Airlines Yak-42D (CU-T 1243) Version 2 |
|
File Description:
I originally released this repaint in early April 2007. Although the result was nice, there was room for improvement. So after getting valuable feedback from some fellow simmers and deciding the colors of my original repaint did not match most of the Cubana AI aircraft, I decided to redo my original repaint of this spectacular model and release it as a Version 2. So here it is; V2.
The following are the changes/improvements in this version; (1) closer color matching to actual Cubana livery and (most) Cubana AI aircraft, (2) improved over and under wing registration textures, (3) corrected tail texture (missing 2nd white stripe), (4) repositioned Cuban flag on the forward section of the fuse, (5) changed font of the tail registration, and (6) changed the wheel colors to be whiter as on the real bird. As with my original, this is a "textures only" package, you must have the Lviv Yak42 Group & Samdim Design Yak-42 base package available here at AVSIM. These are detailed 32-bit textures.

| Jet Airways Boeing 777-300ER (VT-JEH) |
|
File Description:
Jet Airways Boeing 777-300ER for POSKY's 777-300 V2. Created for and tested in FS2004, FSX compatibility not guaranteed.
These textures are in 32-bit for quality and are primarily handpainted. Nearly every texture is totally customized and created with attention to detail, from the tires, doorways, landing gear details, spoiler details, flap details, different dirt patterns on each wing, new engine and pylon textures, custom engine blades and transparency, night lighting including a glow on the nose gear door and cabin lights that dim when the landing lights are turned off as well as the glow of the window lights on the wings and engines which also dim when the landing lights are off, reflections of antennas on the top and bottom of the fuselage, custom ground service vehicles, cargo bays, and much, much more, just explore the aircraft to see the amount of detail put into it.
Feel free to ZipDive for more preview shots, but there is so much more detail that the previews don't show.

CCFSXMSG.ZIP covers the California coastal region from N36° 10' (Coalinga) to N34° 25' (Santa Barbara) and from the coast East to W119° 40'. It is a version of my previously created California Central Coast scenery redesigned and expanded to work with FSX MegaScenery Earth and FSGenesis USA Terrain Mesh for FSX V2 by Justin Tyme. Airstrips in the area covered by this scenery have been added for a total of 27 airports and airstrips. 6 imaginary water runways are also added for AI float plane traffic. Several other areas of interest such as the Santa Barbara marina, Morro Bay, etc. are included for a total of 41 points of interest. All airports, airstrips and related structures have been adjusted and realigned to conform to actual positions and dimensions as indicated by the MegaScenery Earth satellite textures. Megascenery Earth California-13, -14 and -15 are required and -12, -28 and -29 are recommended. By Al Wheeler 9/25/09.
