Well this is my 1st attempt at creating/editing an airport so be gentle. I created all the models in sketchup and used ADE to compile the airport. All you should have to do is unzip it and place it with your other add-on scenery and activate it in FSX.
This is for FSX ONLY. A P3D Version also exists here in the library 79C_Brennand_V1_FOR_P3D_V2.
Brennand Airport (79C) located about 4 miles southwest of Neenah WI. This airport is between KATW and KOSH. Brennand has had new ownership since 2013 and they have made many improvements in that time to 79C. So I went out there and took lots of pictures to create what I have for us now. They have built a new building and hangar which I have added along with all the other building on the airport grounds. The runway has been widened from 20 feet to 30 feet and they added PAPI lights on both runways 18 and 36 all of which I have included. I have changed the grass parking areas to reflect the way they are currently set up. (For fun parking area 8 is in the EAA Chapter 41 hangar (Hangar 11) with the door open so you can taxi out of the hangar. Now just need to figure out how to animate the hangar door).

Hamat is a village near the coast of Lebanon, around 25 miles north of Beirut. The airport runway was built during the civil war to the west of Hamat in the late 1970's, between Hamat and another village called Wuajh Al Hajar. The intention was have an alternative to Beirut airport, which could be (and often was) closed by shell fire from any or all of the sides involved in the civil war, or by bombing by those who were not directly part of the civil war but occasionally joined in. It has been used for drag racing, occasional freefall parachuting (this may continue) and is now an army base with mostly helicopter use. The runway is around 5,600 feet of asphalt, 90 feet wide and aligned 02/20. There is no lighting. The apron is set well back from the runway and has hangars at each end; one set is four hangars long, and at the other end of the apron there are three hangars. There are also the remains of some radar to the west of the apron, bombed (in 1982?). The runway has been repositioned and the surrounding landclass modified to reduce one village to it's approximate actual size and to create a second village which was missing entirely. An intrusive road has been deleted, and the airfield grass area also modified.

Originally a simple nose cone was to be carried aloft, but in July of 1957 it was decided that a small 1.47 kilogram (3.25 pound) test satellite would be used instead to exercise the tracking stations. This test satellite would consist of a simple 16 centimeter (6.4 inch) polished aluminum alloy sphere equipped with two transmitters operating at frequencies around 108 MHz, 6 small solar panels, and 6 dowel like antennas.
The satellite was Vanguard I, in which its successes set the pattern for a multitude of other space ventures in this country and abroad. Vanguard also served as a springboard for scientists to launch several series of space probes to study various aspects of radiation phenomena.
Vanguard I introduced much of the technology that has been applied in other U.S. satellite programs. For example, it proved that solar cells could be used for several years to power radio transmitters. Vanguard's solar cells operated for about seven years, while conventional batteries used to power another onboard transmitter lasted only 20 days.
Now the oldest man-made satellite still in orbit to this day, Vanguard I has been 100 percent successful in meeting all its scientific objectives.
Now you can fly this historical satellite in orbit. Unlike all the US Navy failed attempts, the Orbiter version will always get you there.

textures for Classic British Flight Sim avro york. First Flight 10/11/44. Delivered RAF 246 Sqn 09/02/45. Transfered to RAAF as 'Endeavour' and allocated A74-1 10/03/45. To 1 AD 19/03/45. To Governor Generals Flight 02/04/45. To 17 RSU for engine change 10/04/45. To Governor Generals Flight 11/04/45. Although the RAAF identification number A74 was allocated, the York retained the original serial MW140, but the RAF markings were exchanged for the contemporary RAAF blue and white roundels and flashes. The York was used for long-range flights including the Duke's tour of New Guinea, New Britain, and Bougainville Island. The flight was terminated on July 5 1945, because of the death of the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon John Curtin. On two occasions, September 20 1945, and October 5 1945 "Endeavour" was flown to Singapore to evacuate ex-POWs, and on the first return journey a record flight was established between Perth and Canberra. On January 17 1947, "Endeavour" departed from Mascot and arrived in England on January 23 1947, where the aircraft was handed back to the Air Ministry. 06/01/48, RAF 24 Sqn. 03/52, Withdrawn & stored RAF 12MU Kirkbride, Cumbria, UK, 07/09/54 Aviation Jersey - later broken up. Corunna Downs heritage listed RAAF Base was a secret airfield located in scrub and spinifex country, about 16 kms south west of Marble Bar, the hottest part of the "The Pilbara" area of Western Australia. Not a very ideal place to have a tent city. Today there are very few reminders of the once busy airfield. One can see some crumbling foundations and half filled post holes. 73 OBU operated the Corunna Downs airfield which comprised two intersecting bitumen runways, now regressed and graded occasionally. One ran approximately north-south, 5,000 feet in length while the other ran approximately east-west, 7,000 feet in length. Both runways were approximately 150 feet wide. A 50 foot wide taxiway linked the northern end of the north-south runway to the western end of the east-west runway. Approximately 20 camouflaged revetments to disperse aircraft to minimise bomb damage were constructed at Corunna Downs. Permission is required for landing and there may be vegetation on the strip if not graded recently. No cones or windsock so be careful. Corunna Downs Homestead is also heritage listed and consists of graded strips and homestead complex. Start points are at the homestead and the RAAF base is to the west. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of North American T-6G F-BJBF, 1970. Originally built as 41-33931 (c/n 88-14948), it went to the RAF as EX959. It was used by the 20 Service Flying Training School in Rhodesia from January 1943 onwards. After the war, it was transported back to the UK, where it was sold to the Belgian Air Force, where it became H-9. It flew from Brustem until 1959. The Belgian Air Force then sold it to Air France, with 14 other Harvards, for use at its flight school in Pontoise Cormeilles en Vexin, west of Paris. It flew with Air France until 1965, when it was sold to Mr Urbain of Cannes, who flew it in bare metal with a checkered rudder until 1971. This is the paintscheme depicted here. It then went to the UK, becoming G-AZJD. It remained based at Biggin Hill until 1984, when it went back to France as F-AZDU, being bought by Guy Robert, a former Mirage pilot who recieved his training in the '50's on a Harvard in Marocco. In 2001 it was sold to John Colors SL in Barcelona, but it retained its French registration of F-AZDU. It is still airworthy, based at Sabadell in Spain. A repaint for the Aerosoft PBY-5 Catalina in the colors of PBY-5 (Bu08450) NZ4012 XX-N 'The Naughty Nine" of the RNZAF, as it looked while flying with FltLt Guy Rogers and crew from the Solomon Islands in 1945 with 6 Flying Boat Squadron. Following Japan's entry into the war in December 1941, the RNZAF had to switch from primarily training pilots to Europe into a combat force. No. 6 Squadron RNZAF was formed as an army co-operation unit at Milson in February 1942 flying Vickers Vildebeest and Hawker Hind aircraft. At the same time, No. 5 Squadron RNZAF moved to Fiji with Short Singapores and Vickers Vildebeest and Vincent biplanes. Modern maritime patrol flying boats (and more Hudson light bombers) were requested under Lend Lease and when the first Consolidated Catalinas arrived a detachment of men from No. 5 Squadron was assigned to convert to these types as No. 6 Squadron. Before the squadron was officially formed these men successfully completed their first air-sea rescue of a downed US aircrew. From May 1943 No. 6 squadron undertook action against the Japanese. The Squadron also conducted search and rescue missions for allied aircrew and seamen, and undertook many open sea rescues. XX-N arrived in Fiji on 20 june 1943. It was declared surplus to requirements in 1951, and was broken up in Hobsonville in 1952.

At 4:30 A.M. on May 10, 1940, three Junkers Ju 52's took off from the Cologne airfields of Ostheim and Butzweilerhof, towing behind them three other aircraft that lacked motors. The first front service of a new weapon, the freight glider, developed by the DFS (Deutsche Forschungsanstalt fur Segelflug / German Research Institute for Sailplane Flight), had begun. A total of 41 DFS-230 freight gliders with 400 paratroopers were launched for this mission. It was their task to take the Belgian Fort Eben Emael near Maastrich. With this successful operation the crossing of the Albert Canal was secured and the cornerstone of Belgian defense fell in German hands.
These assault gliders were also used during the Krete invasion (1941). The DFS 230's last significant use was during the 'Eichen' operation: 10 assault gliders were used to deliver the group of hand picked commandos led by Otto Skorzeny against the Gran Sasso mountain-top hotel that was used to hold Mussolini. The Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) received from Luftwaffe, during 1941, almost 20 DFS-230 and 4 Gotha Go-242 assault gliders. These aircrafts were used only for pilot training until 09/1943.

This greatly modifies my previous post of Sioux Lookout; it is stand-alone and does not require you to have the 2009 version. The AI provided with the post complements what was included with Dryden (March 2013). Sioux Lookout is in northern Ontario, 40 miles east of Dryden, and 145 miles northwest of Thunder Bay. The town is on the northeastern shore of a lake that I don't know the name of (I've been there, but has anyone COUNTED how many lakes Canada has?). It has a population of around 5,000. The main businesses are lumber, tourism, and health care. The airport is immediately adjacent to the northeastern corner of the town, and has 5,300' of asphalt which is aligned 16-34. There are two taxiways which curve and climb up to the apron which is 20 or 30 feet higher. When you taxi on them the knowledge that in reality you would be climbing makes sense of the curved routing. The apron is large and a mixture of asphalt and gravel. I did not make the terminal building and I have no photo or even a recollection of what it looks like, so you should first install Northwest Ontario Airports by Eric O'Link as he has a terminal building for CYXL that might be how it looks; some of his airfields collide with other and newer versions and I have kept only his CYXL and CYPL bgl's.

The main airport of Oran was recently renamed Oran Ahmed Ben Bella International in honor of the nation's founding president. The airport recently underwent EUR 20 million renovations which added the new 07R/25L runway and extended and renamed the existing 07L/25R runway as well as taxiway construction. Renovations were also done to the main parking apron and terminal building. This airport serves as a hub for Air Algeria and Aigle Azur with service to points in Africa, the Middle East and Europe. Several other airlines serve the airport with Air France beginning service from Paris in the Summer of 2013. The city of Oran (population approx. 759,645) is the second largest city in Algeria and an important industrial, educational and cultural center in Alegria.
