| CityBird 1998 AI Flightplans |
|
File Description:
CityBird was founded in late 1996 with the slogan "The Flying Dream" as a Belgian leisure airline with a white MD-11 leased from World and two 767s(one in a white livery and one in the green livery). By 1998, there was also an MD-11 in the full CityBird green colors and 2 in full SABENA titles with Swissair stickers that was operated on behalf of those two carriers to North America and Brazil. The 737s and 2 cargo A300 did not come until the very end of 1999 and are not included in these flightplans. The airline offered 3 classes of service, "Royal Eagle" class(buisness), "Premium Flamingo(premium economy), and "Colibri" class(economy). There was an interesting Just Planes\World Air Routes flight in the cockpit video made about this carrier, if that interests you. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet, the FAIB 767-300 is on Avsim as "faib_767-300_ctb.zip" and the FSPX MD-11 as "fspx_md-11_ctb.zip". Alternatively, Eduardo Villanueva has repainted the fleet on FS2004 native models on Avsim as "citybird_fleet.zip". Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. The 'Push On' button is now without green illuminating like in version v2.0 yet no more problems with the button animation at night when panel lights are on in some addon aircraft. The update will only affect version v2.0 so version v2.1 Ñan still be used if you installed it previously. The panel will serve as a virtual cabin crew for your aircraft. IMPORTANT: FS Announcement Panel v2.0 is required and should be installed prior to installing the update

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX by Real Air. It shows Spitfire Mk.VIII RAAF A58-379 (JG270) ZF-Z, which arrived in Australia on SS Tekaa in january 1944. Still bare metal, it went to 549 Sqn where it received the serial ZF-Z. It was regularly flown by F/Lt Glaser, who put his personal symbol of a buccaneer below the cockpit. In november 1944, it was painted foliage green, remaining with 549 Sqn until the end of the war, and was struck off charge in 1948. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by RealAir.

| RAF North American P-51D |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of the A2A Simulations (formerly Shockwave Productions) "Wings of Power P-51D/H" for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. It represents RAF Mustang Mk.IV GL-M of No. 5 Squadron, South African Air Force circa April 1945 while the squadron was based in Italy. While the true serial number of GL-M is unknown, this repaint depicts it as KH671, the squadron's earliest Mustang IVa and the first P-51K supplied to the RAF. KH671 survived the war. The brown and green camouflage is my artistic choice and should not be considered historically accurate.
