Googly scenery for HCMI Berbera, Somalia - an airport largely overlooked in
Flight Simulator 2004 with just a runway and tower provided at what is actually
the country's largest airport. At one time it had two active runways and a
strong military presence but today activity is limited to occasional
civilian flights. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and
other airport features (and remove the non-existent tower that Microsoft
put there) so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take
off in a realistic manner. This desert-surrounded airport is served three times per week by Douglas DC-9 jets of Kenyan airline African Express Airways.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite
imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added
airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing.
You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries,
but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine,

| Layton's Airfield (28NJ), NJ |

File Description:
Layton's Field perhaps no longer exists in actual aviation databases - it's not, for example, listed over at skyvector.com. But you can find it via a Google search. It is coded 28NJ within FSX, although the real 28NJ is a heliport at the Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. It is a single grass turf strip 1692 feet in length and 60 feet wide. There are no services or parking available - if you want to practice touch and go turf landings that's about the extent of the usefulness of this airport. Even if you never use it, this will at least prevent you from flying over the location and seeing a default 3000 foot grass strip (with threshold markings, no less) sticking oddly out amongst the rest of the scenery.
Scenery constructed with use of satellite images/streetview, the author has not been there in person.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

**Revised March 20th 2012** After a lot of positive feedback from forum members, and some very constructive pointers and photos from Ryan (aka Tabs), I've revised the bumps to be a bit closer to a real-world appearance. So if you prefer a more exaggerated appearance (deeper lines, higher rivets) you may prefer the first set over this revision. A completely new set of spec files (for shine and reflection) and bump maps (for surface detail) to update the exterior of your PMDG 737-700 NGX. They can be used over any existing livery for the -700 model. The bump files are in 4096 res (default is 1024) so they will use more memory, but have no noticeable effect on performance on my low-end core2 duo system aside from a slightly longer loading time. The package includes two folders; one for the specular files and the other for the bump maps. Simply drop them into the aircraft texture of your choice and you're ready to fly. More detailed instructions for installation are included. The PMDG NGX base pack and 600/700 model expansion are required. Additional before and after photos are posted in the PMDG NGX support forum.

FSX Basler BT-67 repaint textures for the real world Royal Thai Air Force 46-158.
For the wonderful Jahn-Fuernkaess-Metzger-Naegele BT-67, which you must
have previously installed in FSX. Having worn at least three different
liveries between 2004 and 2010 while in service with the Royal Thai Air Force,
this subdued dark bluish-gray version of 46-158 dates back to Aug. 26, 2004,
the day the photo that this repaint was based on was taken. Although painted
as close to the photograph's colors as my previous eye surgeries allow me to
perceive, I'm tending to believe that the aircraft is actually more gray than blue.
Anyway, the photo can be seen at Airliners.net by entering the photographer's
name, Sakpinit Promthep, into their search engine, so you be the judge! Rumor has it that this
airframe currently resides in pieces in a hangar at Wittman Regional in Oshkosh,
Wisconsin, and now affectionately goes by the nickname "44 mag", although I
think I'd have to see that with my own eyes to believe it! Includes engine
exhaust smoke coordinates for all four exhaust stacks for those of you who like

File Description:
George F. L. Charles Airport (TLPC) is a small airport in Saint Lucia, mostly serving the caribbean Islands. It is the airport that is situated in the north of the island in the capital city of Castries.
It serves quite a few regional airlines mainly operating turbo props like the dash8, ATR and smaller types, but has handled bigger types in the past such as MD82 (BWIA) and B722 (AMERIJET). Since stopped because of noise complaints. (SIGHS)
This is my first attempt at scenery design. I was motivated to build this scenery because I grew up near the airport and always enjoyed flying in there Whether in real or in the sim.
Since FSX, there`s been no scenery built for it and I could not stand the default scenery. So almost two years ago, not knowing a thing about scenery design and where to start, I embarked on this project. It is by no means perfect, but I think it is better than what is on offer. There are no custom ground textures cause I have not worked it out yet, maybe in a later update. The buildings where all made with Google Sketchup8 free version and converted with ModelConverterX and added to FSX with Instant Scenery 2. ENJOY.

Centurion Cargo is a privately owned company founded in 2001. Based at
Miami International Airport, it currently operates a fleet of ten MD-11F,
and has an impressive 550,000 square foot warehouse, divided into two
different sections, a 159,000 square foot cooler and 391,000 square foot
Dry Cargo Area. The Centurion Cargo Center is by far the largest privately
owned all cargo airline facility in North America.
Centurion is one of the leading cargo airlines operating to and from
Latin America and is No. 1 in the handling of live animals and perishable
goods. Centurion has recently expanded its network to include 4 weekly flights
from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We also offer worldwide charter, handling, and
security services among others.
FSX McDonnell-Douglas MD-11F repaint textures for the real world
Centurion Cargo N701GC, named "Petete", but with the freeware version's Pratt
and Whitney engines. For the freeware SMS Overland MD-11 with P&W 4460 engines,
which you must have previously installed in FSX. I installed the freeware
(SMS-MD-11_Dutch_Package.zip) with VC which works well with this repaint.
Also includes engine exhaust smoke coordinates which you can add to
your "aircraft.cfg" if you wish. Screenshots enclosed. Easy installation.

This island is the smallest municipality of the Netherlands. Saba is just under 30 miles south of St. Maarten, the island that was split between France and the Netherlands; to the southeast and 20 miles away is the small island of St. Eustatius, then St Kitts and then Nevis. The island comes out of the water like the top of Everest and keeps going, and there is no large space for a runway and no possibility of creating one with landfill with those steep sea cliffs. So what you have is a small runway (aligned 12/30) of 1,000 feet plus over-runs at each end that have small "closed" markings (see the white crosses) for a usable total of around 1,300 feet.
The airport restricts access as there is only space for four planes to park, plus a helicopter. And of course there is also the short runway to contend with. Landings are carried out under waivers issued by the Netherlands Civil Aviation Authority, and will always be on runway 12 as the southeast trade winds predominate. Twotters land there but only in real life; FS9 AI Twotters don't seem to find it adequate. There is no fuel or any other facility except for a small terminal building and a car park.

Railroad Valley is our oldest scenery project and by far the largest. It was originally released for FS2000 and version 2 was used in the Battle of the Airlines 2003 online race. It is a follow on to our series of fictional airports and surrounding areas that we call Flight Centers, such as our popular Malibu Flight Center 2. Included in the package is our centerpiece - Flight Center 3 at Echo Canyon and Flight Center 4 at Lunar Lake. Flight center 3 is our prime military headquarters, and functions as an aircraft manufacturing and flight test center all in one. It's much like a combined version of Edwards AFB and Palmdale Air Force Plant 42 in real life. Flight Center 4 is loosely based off of the High-technology Aerospace Warfare Center (or HAWC) from the earliest Dale Brown novels. The bases lie roughly 50 miles north of Area 51, Groom Lake, Nevada, and are just outside of the Nevada Test Site and the Nellis Air Force Range. In addition there are many other airports and flying locales too numerous to mention here. Full documentation contained within. SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our new FSX Concorde Sound Package! This add-on will hopefully bring Concorde back to life since the real thing no longer flies and I do not think an Olympus 593 turbojet engine has run since 2003. So to achieve this goal, I have worked to the bone to fine tune this sound and add as many features as possible. The main new feature of this sound is XML Gauge Sound technology, never seen before in a SkyHigh sound release, or on any sound package release for that matter. The XML gauge sounds include a brake sound, sonic boom sound effect, as well as a switch panel that plays various cabin announcements. 3D Sound Cone Technology has of course, been extensively used in this release, as with our other FSX sound releases. You can even hear the ground trembling from the noise when Concorde flies by. I could go for days explaining the features of these sounds but I'd like for you to hear them for yourself. So please give this download a go if you want to bring Concorde back to life with a very realistic sounding Concorde sound package for FSX!
