B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2292, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #3. Pilot: Lt. Robert M. Gray,
Co-Pilot: Lt. Jacob E. Manch, Navigator: Lt. Charles J. Ozuk, Jr., Bombardier: Sgt. Aden E. Jones, Flight Engineer/Gunner: Cpl. Leland D. Fakto. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Although little physical damage was inflicted on Japan, that day, the Japanese populace was demoralized, as suddenly, the war was brought to their homeland. Texture, and Damage Files included. | PABT PATA UTO 6A8 (Alaska) Upgrades |

File Description:
This scenery upgrades PABT, PATA, UTO and 6A8 in Alaska. Upgrades include taxiways, hangers, airport buildings, aircraft and ground vehicles, helipads and other objects. It also updates the 2 water runways at PABT as start points which in FSX they aren't start points. The water runway area is updated with marina objects, a float plane dock, float plane support shops and buildings and a private residence with a private dock for boats and float planes. The helipads were an addition because I use Flight 1's heli-traffic and have helo traffic flying back and forth. Future upgrades to several of the small airports in the area will include AI helo and bush plane traffic. Read the text file for info and installation instructions. 4 pictures are included of each airports upgrades. Please enjoy these upgrades and check the Avsim library for future upgrades coming soon. File Description:
With BFU Brooks, BFU enters the faraway bush country of northern Alaska. Located at Coldfoot in the southern foothills of the Brooks mountains, this base will cater to the needs of visitors to the area, and of sportsmen who indulge in hunting and fishing. This scenery package consists of three sceneries: our new northern base BFU Brooks, Moose Camp and Moose Lodge. The camp sits in the mountains on a small lake, whereas the lodge is situated on the shore of a large lake. Visitors are flown into Coldfoot from Fairbanks, then on to the camp or lodge as desired. Moose Camp and Moose Lodge will not show on the GPS, and of course do not have an NDB or similar to guide you. You'd better start in the camp/lodge, and fly toward Coldfoot to get to know the area. The sceneries have only been tested with the default mesh.

This is a repaint of the Fairchild Metroliner II in Air Virginia 1982 colors. The freeware Fairchild Metro III by Jon Murchison is needed for this repaint. Lynchburg based Air Virginia was formed by Rodney H. Jaeger in January 1979, and started operations with daily flights to Washington DC. They initially used Fairchild (Swearingen) Metro IIs, and Piper Navajo Chieftains. In 1981 they introduced the British Aerospace BAe 748-B2 to the fleet. 1983 saw them buy and merge Mid-South Airlines.
Their route network expanded to 17 destinations by 1984; Maryland, Virginia,New York, New Jersey, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia. Later that year, the airline was purchased by Dimitri P. Nicholas. In 1985 they became a commuter partner of American Airlines, and inaugurated flights as the third member of the American Eagle commuter network. They changed their name to AV Air in November 1985, but by 1988 the airline ceased operations. This repaint depicts a Fairchild (Swearingen) SA226-TC Metro II of Air Virginia, which was delivered new to the airline in October 1980. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX, FS2004 & P3Dv1-3.

File Description:
INSTRUCTIONS AND MORE INFO INCLUDED IN ZIP FILE. INCLUDES 3 OVERLAYS. Hi, I've created these AFCAD files for the Simflyers LAX scenery, as I could not find anything that was truly a; realistic, and b; functioned properly with the MS Fltsim 2002 AI. I've spent many hours testing and tweaking these AFCAD files, so I hope they are perfect enough to be widely used. However, I do stress that some previous experience of using AFCAD and changing aircraft radius sizes will be necessary. Please report any faults which may be discovered! Design tips for the future are always very useful!
WHATS NEW FOR 2.1:
I have changed the direction of takeoff / landing for all of the runways, as the AI appears to behave a lot better this way (less likeliness of aircraft getting stuck!). This has allowed me to move all of the runways used by the KLAX overlay to the north side of the airport, reducing the chances of aircraft landing on top of one another. KLAX also now has some extra Ramp GA Large bays to accomodate for all of the American Eagle Saab 340's! Finally, I have cleaned up the AFCAD removing unecessary nodes etc.

File Description: In 1957 they were written from use. One Heron was sold to the UK but sadly suffered a fatal crash on delivery. The other three, including ZK-BBM, were stored and in 1960 sold to Fiji Airways (later Air Pacific). In November 1975 Rotorua-based Air North bought ZK-BBM from Air Pacific. Already in 1978 she made her final landing and was stored for years at Ardmore Airfield. Classic Flyers NZ, based at Tauranga Airport acquired the Heron in March 1989. Since then she has been restored for static display at the Classic Flyers Museum.
You will need the DH-114 package available at Classic British Flightsim.
New Zealand National Airways Corporation (NAC) was the first operator to receive the DH-114. From 1952 till 1957 NAC flew with four Herons 1B's, which were acquired to serve those airfields which could not take NAC's standard airliner of those days, the Douglas DC-3. The Herons primarily flew across Cook Strait (Rongotai-Blenheim-Nelson) and later also to Hamilton and Rotorua. Since many modifications were required for this new airliner, the Herons proved too costly.
