| B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2292 for The B24 Guy's OH |
|
File Description:
B25-B Mitchell Doolittle's Raiders A/C No. 40-2292, April 18, 1942. Painted over The B24 Guy's B25 Mitchell Overhaul Model. This was mission plane #3. Pilot: Lt. Robert M. Gray,
Co-Pilot: Lt. Jacob E. Manch, Navigator: Lt. Charles J. Ozuk, Jr., Bombardier: Sgt. Aden E. Jones, Flight Engineer/Gunner: Cpl. Leland D. Fakto. The bomb group attacked targets in the Tokyo area. The North American B-25B was not designed or intended for aircraft carrier use, but there they were, sixteen highly modified bombers sitting on the deck of the USS Hornet (CV-8). They were modified to carry bombs to Tokyo. The B-25s are launched from their maximum range, and flew over Tokyo, bombing several installations. The bombs did little damage, but managed to damage the Japanese carrier Ryuho while it is in drydock. Many of the planes then head to wherever they can make it, since the fuel will be empty before they reach a friendly airbase. All of the B-25 bombers are forced to bail out or crash land except one. Eleven crews are forced to bail out over China, 3 crash land, and the last landed safely at Vladivostok. The crew that landed in Russia was interned, along with the plane, for a while. The crews were all volunteer, and had no carrier experience, yet all sixteen of the bombers were successful on take-off. Although little physical damage was inflicted on Japan, that day, the Japanese populace was demoralized, as suddenly, the war was brought to their homeland. Texture, and Damage Files included. Note the three windows in both port and starboard bulkheads. Enjoy!

| P-51D G-SIJJ "Jumpin'Jacques" |
|
File Description:
"Jumpin Jacques" is a P-51D-20-NA model, built at North American’s Inglewood facility in California. Accepted by the USAAF on December 21 1944 as 44-72035, she was assigned to the 332nd fighter group in the Mediterranean Theatre of operations. The 332nd became very famous as the first all Afro American manned Group known as "The Tuskegee Airmen" although references to them at the time refer to them as "The Red Tails". She entered combat with the 15th Air force around March 1945 serving out the last few months of the war on escort and ground attack sweeps over Germany, Austria and Czechoslovakia. She still carries the battle scars to this day, with bullet repairs in several places on the fuselage. After the war, she was repatriated to the US and served with several ANG units. She was released from active duty in 1953 and in 1956 sold to Whitman Enterprises, CA, who registered her as N5411V.
She remained in the Us until 1981, when she was sold to Colombia. In 1989, she was bought by Jacques Bourret of Aero Retro, based in St.Rambert, France, with the registration F-AZMU. When looking for a colour scheme for the P-5, Jacques came upon the photo of a Mustang named "Jumpin’ Jacques" and could not resist adopting this as the new scheme. The original "Jumpin’ Jacques" was flown by Lt Jacques E Young of the 3rd Fighter Squadron, 3rd Air Commando Group, a unit that operated out of the Philippines.
At present, she is with the Hangar11 group of North Weald, UK, flying with the registration G-SIJJ. She has been repainted completely in early 2007, and it is this paintscheme that is depicted with this repaint.
Repaint for the Shockwave WWII Fighters P-51D Mustang by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by John Terrell.

| Alaska Airlines "HONORING THOSE WHO SERVE" livery Operated by Horizon Air E175LR (N651QX) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
I am proud to present this very special Alaska Airlines Embraer E175LR, operated by Horizon Air, registration N651QX. This E175LR is the third "Honoring Those Who Serve" aircraft in the Alaska Airlines fleet which pays tribute to US military members, veterans, fallen soldiers and their families. Its unique exterior paint scheme, conceived by a small group of Alaska maintenance technicians, was designed to honor those who serve today, and those who served in the past. The design includes; A red stripe and blue aircraft body to incorporate elements of the American flag, the phrase "Honoring Those Who Serve," displayed on the fuselage, symbolic crests representing the Alaska Airlines Fallen Soldier Program on the starboard side rear cargo door and on the port side of the aircraft behind the aft service door, a "Horizon Air Salutes" medallion near the nose of the aircraft on both sides with the five stars, winglets in red, white and blue representing the flag of the United States and five gold stripes on the engine cowls representing the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. There is also a Sidney Sheldon quote next to the forward passenger entry door reading “My heroes are those that risk their lives to protect the world and make it a better place.â€
The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. All of the medallions are hand painted. This is the Version 3 model of the FeelThere Embraer 175. You must own a copy of the Feelthere E-JETS E175 and E195 V3 to enjoy this repaint.
A special thank you to all who serve, who have served and to those who gave their lives in service to this country.

| Dallas Ft. Worth KDFW / DFW, version 3.2 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Thank you for downloading this scenery. This is an extensive upgrade to the default Dallas/Ft. Worth International airport. The brand new Terminal D is added and in use now at DFW. FRF's rendition of this terminal is in no way photoreal or exact as it is in real life. The basic shape and dimensions are correct, but due to the limitations of the building blocks available to me at the time, We were not able to design the curved roof and some other architectural details of the actual building. The gates are generally accurate and I have seen no parking problems so far. The original main terminals remain with new, more accurate jetways. The overhead tramway which circles the entire terminal area has been added. It is not perfectly correct or photoreal, but it is a good basic representation.
An AFCAD is included with accurate parking per the DFW website and AA.com. There is a substantial frame rate hit with full AI traffic and weather enabled, but it is not a slideshow.
Update from v3:
The afcad file for KDFW is all new, made with AFX, and reflects recent updates to the taxiway layout. The new afcad file is no longer "all runways active" due to the incorrect behavior of AI aircraft overflying the main runways when using the 13/31's. The new end-around taxiway at the end of Rwys 17R/C is now in place. The runway 18R/17C extensions are reflected as well as associated new taxiways and signage. Parking changes are now reflected per the DFW website. Visual changes include the midfield hangar change from Delta to American titles, courtesy of Joe Degregorio.
