Glacier Bay - Alaska/Canada, Version 2, Part 1 of 2 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Glacier Bay v2 is a complete replacement of the default FS2004 landscape and scenery of more than 90,000 square kilometers (36,000 sq miles) of Southeast Alaska and adjacent areas of Yukon and British Columbia. File 1 of 2 (also requires glbayv2b.zip)

Landscape enhancements include high-resolution terrain mesh, detailed shorelines, rivers, lakes, and glaciers, and accurate land cover data with custom seasonal ground textures. Inland water bodies can be made to "freeze over" via an on/off switch. Other landmarks include the settlements of Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Yakutat, Atlin, and Carcross as well as road and railroad networks, cabins, lodges, and lighthouses. We modeled or enhanced 16 main airfields (plus one fictitious airstrip), 20 unlisted airstrips, 16 seaplane bases, and seven heliports. We've also included AI ship traffic in various locations as well as optional flightplans for GA and floatplane AI traffic.

Glacier Bay v2 is fully compatible with other third-party add-ons, including terrain mesh (FSGlobal, FS Genesis, etc.), ground textures (Ground Environment, BEV, FScene, etc.), and landscape enhancements (Ultimate Terrain Canada/Alaska, Misty Fjords, Tongass Fjords, Freight Dogs). A configurator panel (requires .Net Framework!) allows users to set compatibility options and to choose levels of scenery detail. We provide an autoinstaller and detailed documentation with a sectional map of the coverage area and a list of weblinks to real-world information.

For feedback and questions, please visit the Glacier Bay v2 support forum at http://forums.fsaddon.eu/viewforum.php?f=10. This project is a collaboration of nine FS developers from Germany, Austria, USA, and Canada, logging more than 1000 hours of work over the past 14 months. We acknowledge the kind support of FSAddon.com. However, this project is independent of any commercial company or product. Enjoy!

Kempegowda International Airport (IATA: BLR, ICAO: VOBL) is an international airport serving Bangalore, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. Spread over 4,000 acres (1,600 ha), it is located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of the city near the village of Devanahalli. It is owned and operated by Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), a public–private consortium. The airport opened in May 2008 as an alternative to increased congestion at HAL Airport, the original primary commercial airport serving the city. It is named after Kempe Gowda I, the founder of Bangalore. Kempegowda International Airport became Karnataka's first fully solar powered airport developed by CleanMax Solar.[2][3]

As of 2016, Kempegowda Airport is the third-busiest airport by passenger traffic in the country, behind the airports in Delhi, Mumbai and is the 35th-busiest airport in Asia. It handled over 22.2 million passengers in 2016 with little less than 500 aircraft movements a day. The airport also handled about 314,060 tonnes (346,190 short tons) of cargo. By 2020, it is expected to handle at least 40 million passengers per year, with 45 international airlines and more than 1000 aircraft movements per day.

RAF Catterick Download

File Description:
RAF Catterick is located alongside the A1 on the outskirts of Catterick Village. Operationally it falls under the command of Catterick Garrison. It currently houses 5th Regiment Royal Artillery and 32 Engineer Regiment. Catterick airfield first opened in 1914 as a Royal Flying Corps aerodrome with the role of training pilots and to assist in the defence of the North East of England. It came under RAF administration in 1918 and housed Number 49 Training Depot. In 1927, it temporarily came under the administration of the British Army, under the Army Air Co-Operation Command which would supply the army with any air support needs that would be required. This continued until 1939 when the station was handed back to the RAF. During the Second World War, the airfield operated a small satellite station called RAF Scorton near the village of Scorton. Catterick's runway could not be extended from its existing 3,350 ft (1,020 m) for the jet age due to the perimeter being bounded by the Great North Road (A1) and the River Swale. Therefore, Catterick's importance declined after the Second World War, though it still housed training institutes for many years. Source:Wikipedia

File Description:
FS2004 Panel, F16 Air Show Tour. The panel of this jet fighter has been designed for cross country flying to events worldwide. The 2D cockpit is packed with new gauges that complement this high performance, yet docile aircraft. All gauges, lights, etc. are functional, easy to read, and are panel installed except GPS 500. For long distance flights, the panel contains on-demand refueling capabilities for both ground and air operations. A few of the new gauges are; 180-degree scan navigational radar, triple mode interceptor-refueling-terrain radar, refueling gauge with command screen, fuel center with time/distance remaining computer, new Descentometer for Mach-plus aircraft, analog engine gauges including thrust and fuel efficiency, plus a hangar full of warning and indicator lights. The intercept mode of the ai-radar feeds info to the autopilot to assist in the rendezvous with tanker to allow all-weather, day or night air refueling. Digital data for AP, radio, altimeter, timer, and Descentometer is input via a central keypad. Acknowledge ATC instructions using joystick. Designed for use with Kirk Olsson's F16 Viper. Titan Airways Download

File Description:
Titan Airways flightplans. (done in MRAI format). They are based on some flights i had times for and cargo schedules included, some fictional charters and quite a lot of scheduled airlines flightplans like bmibaby, easyjet, Jet 2, BA, Flybe and Air Wales where by they are doing subcharters for these airlines the plans are 1hr 5 mins ahead of these scheduled airlines timetables otherwise accurate following their timetables, all flight numbers are accurate aswell. This is to stop clashes between the titan subcharter plane arriving at the airport at the same time as the real flight in like mrai plans, to avoid a clash with mrai fligthplans cos mine are in mrai format and to add realism to delays which would have happened usually if an airline has to subcharter an aircraft. Note that these are pretty much fictional fligthplans because this airline has very few schedules and sub charters its planes out to other airlines. Ive included real schedules + 1 hr 5 mins to add realism and to look like a subcharter that could possibly be done by one of the titan aircraft.

FSX Grumman F9F RNLN VSQ3 LATE Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This livery represents a fictional "What if" repaint of the magnificent payware Grumman F9F-5 by VertigoStudios in a Royal Netherlands Navy Livery. The aircraft resembles what it would look like if the Dutch government chose the Grumman F9F Panther over the Hawker Seahawk as their primary attack fighter operating from the sole Dutch Navy aircraft carrier from the late 40-ies till the early 60-ies; the HRMS Karel Doorman (CV, R81, Colossus Class). The Dutch navy operated two other aircraft carriers prior to this one (small MAC escort carriers, which were basically modified tankers), but the R81 was the first and only real aircraft carrier ever operational within the Royal Netherlands Navy, and to operate jet-fighters from. This particular livery of the F9F is in a typical grey & duck-egg green pattern resembling all Dutch naval aircraft of that era, carrier- and land based. This livery with the "V" marking denotes that the aircraft has NAS Valkenburg as home base instead of the (back then) available aircraft carrier "Karel Doorman", of which all aircraft were marked with a "D". You need the payware VertigoStudios F9F for FSX in order to use this repaint.

Flypad Gauge V2.0 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
FSX, Flypad Gauge Version 2.0 This gauge has been developed on Win7 for FSX Flight Simulator SP2 or SP1.It should also work with Acceleration, but this is not guaranteed by the author. The gauge is a little extra addon based on the design of a smart phone and provides 9 different displays which are different from all of the standard gauge displays on a regular aircraft panel. It is mainly helpful for the user flying small propeller aircraft, and old timer aircraft.

However, the displays are as well attractive for sim pilots flying modern jet aircraft. Use it as if you just grabbed to your smart phone during a flight and check on the status of your aircraft, or how the terrain awareness situation looks like, how the AI traffic on the radar is, while you proceed with your flight plan. Enjoy the new design of a simple aircraft attitude display during an ILS approach. A new screen for LAT/LON coordination control and distance/bearing calculation has been added to this version in addition with a number of improvements. For credits look at the pdf documentation inside the zip file. FSX/P3D Olympic Airways DC-3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Olympic Airways colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Greece's Olympic Airways was founded by the enigmatic shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis, in 1957. He was the only individual in the world of that day to own a national airline. In July 1956, the Greek State signed an agreement with Onassis, for the exclusive use of air transport in Greece. On April 6, 1957 Olympic Airways came onto the scene by replacing Greece's previous national airline; TAE. Olympic received their first jet in 1960, the DH Comet. Olympic Airways' Olympic rings logo was the definition of the golden years of civil aviation, classy and very eye-catching. Due to tragedy striking Onassis in 1973 with the death of his only son, who was a pilot himself and was going to be the new head of Olympic Airways. Onnasis heartbroken, sold Olympic to the Greek state a few months later. He passed away himself in 1975. Olympic operated over a dozen DC-3s. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.
