Skyhawk HSI Upgrade and Performance Tweaks

File Description:
Makes the Skyhawk feel more like the real thing... Replaces the Directional Gyro with the Optional HSI that is delivered with NAVII Cessna Skyhawks. Performance is adjusted to more closely match the late model C-172SP (1999 and later) Corrects the problem of RPMs too high in the pattern to keep desired speeds. Adds the 'ballooning sensation' (increased pitch and lift) when flaps are increased. Pitch and Yaw Stability adjusted. Rudder effectiveness "tamed". Several other adjustments. See the C172Config.txt for a list.

Project Airlift USN VR-52 #1

File Description:
VR-52 flies 4 C-9B/D aircraft out of Willow Grove JRB in Pennsylvania. One of the 4 spends most of the week in the Mediterranean while another spends most of the week in Asia, which is the typical situation for the real squadron. The other two spend their week flying missions to various Naval and Marine stations (plus a few civilian airports) within the continental US. All four spend roughly 24hrs on the ground each week for maintenance.

This is a repaint of Project Tupolev Tu-154b-2 in Belavia c/s. After a long wait for decent Belavia repaint I decided to make for my personal use one of my own. I can't call my self realy a painter as my repaints are not on share basis level and I also use parts of other repaints. But I decided to share this one anyway as a small return contribution to our FS community. Somebody just might want to use it.

ATD-300 Traffic-Watch

File Description:
This gauge is a realistic simulation of the Monroy Aerospace ATD-300 Traffic-Watch instrument. The ATD-300 is a very basic, traffic altering system used in real-life, general aviation aircraft showing all (actively squawking) aircraft in a 5 NM radius. Since FS AI traffic always squawks Mode C all AI will be displayed on this gauge. The ATD-300 gauge is fully compatible with IvAp and SB3 and includes some extra features for on-line flying. Requires Peter Dowsons FSUIPC.

CFS2 Grumman TBF-1B Avenger (Tarpon Mk. I) 4M FN908 846 NAS, Scotland, 1945 - RAF Fleet Air Arm. Painted over The B24 Guy's TBF Avenger OH Model. This A/C No. 4M, FN908, served with the 846th NAS on anti-submarine patrols and was flown from the Macrihanish, Scotland shore base. There was another 4M, FN802 that also served with the 846th NAS. SPJJ Jauja, Peru

File Description:
Googlyafcad A&F Data file for SPJJ Jauja, Peru, based on Google Earth satellite data. Unfortunately, Microsoft have provided no facilities in Flight Simulator 2004 at this small domestic airport in Peru, which sees occasional passenger flights from domestic operator L C Busre along with, possibly, other operators of small aircraft - although information is hard to find. The satellite data currently available for this area is of very poor quality, so accuracy cannot be guaranteed but it is believed to be reasonably correct.

RAF Burtonwood scenery - Station 590

File Description:
Scenery for RAF Burtonwood located near Manchester covering the period 1943 to 1953. The largest American airforce base in Europe during WW2, Burton wood handled the assembly/refitting or modification to over 11,000 aircraft during WW2. It was a key factor in the successful outcome of the Berlin airlift of 1947/48 where the 200 hour maintenance inspections were carried out on the C-54 transport aircraft. Requires also the freeware EZ-scenery library from Abacus which is a self install.

USAF P-51D 479th FG/434th FS L2-V "Pin up girl"

File Description:
P-51D 44-14651 L2-V “Pin Up Girl” was first flown by Lt. Berkeley E. Hollister, 434th Fighter Squadron, 479th Fighter Group, with only the letters on the nose. It was later reassigned to Lt. John C. Donnell Jr., who applied the image to the plane. Unfortunately, he was killed in action on 14th february 1945. I have painted this aircraft earlier, but this time it is based on the excellent paintkit by John Terrell. Shockwave P-51 required!

Armstrong Whitworth AW.27 Ensign Mk2 Air France

File Description: This is an add-on repaint for AW27MK21.ZIP, the Armstrong Whitworth AW.27 Ensign Mk2 base pack. Featured here is a Vichy-France captive, F-BAHO (formerly 'Enterprise', c/n AW1822), the last example to be completed. It was taken over by the French after an emergency landing near Dakar, and repainted to full Air France colours. Say what you want, 'la tricolore' looks 'tres chic' on this graceful British airliner. You will need the base pack AW27MK21.zip, available here.
