Captain George S Welch P-38H Lightning

File Description:
This skin is the Lockheed P-38H Lightning of Captain George S Welch, of the 80th Fighter Squadron of the 8th Fighter Group, based at Port Moresby, New Guinea, September 1943. Welch scored a total of 16 victories (including 4 during the attack on Pearl Harbor) before he was sent home from New Guinea with an extreme case of malaria. Welch was also the first known pilot to exceed mach 1, flying a prototype F-86 Sabre, albeit in a dive. Thanks to WOLF257 for creating the P-38, and for enhancing our SF WW2 experience. And much thanks go to AVSIM for hosting. I have included a new prop sound file for the loading screen, use it if you want. IMHO it adds to the immersion for your SF ww2 experience.

Mig-17 Cockpit Repaint Black

File Description:
This is version 2 of the Mig cockpit. It has the more authentic color of black and is a big improvement over the first release. The Russian lettering has also been cleaned up. This can be used while we wait for an authentic Mig-17 Cockpit (it can also be used on the Mig-19S or Mig-15). It is an A-4B pit that has been repainted. It has undergone some minor cosmetic changes and authentic Russian lettering has been added to all the gauges as well (I do not speak Russian so I am not sure what it says :-) This works in Strike Fighters project 1, Strike Fighters Gold and Wings over Vietnam. Files to make the Mig-17F and Mig-19S flyable (if needed) are also included. Brought to you by Mk2aw

Midway Island (PMDY)

File Description:
Here are two different AFCAD2 files for Midway Island in the Pacific. Runway 06/24 has been extended to 10,000FT and is equipped with full day, night and approach lighting. Parking includes 14 GA ramps, 6 small gates, 1 medium gate, 6 heavy gates and 2 cargo ramps, Helicopter Pads and an enlarged apron. Other extras for this Island are a Tower view, and ATC including ATIS. This makes an ideal pacific stopover or diversion airport. This package has 2 versions - Default AI traffic with Normal gates or Real world AI traffic with airline assigned gates. You can only use one or the other. Bonus files in here include voicepack updates and 2 flights from the Island using default aircraft. This package is meant for the default FS2004 scenery.

Força Aeraunáutica Brasileira Republic P-47-D

File Description:
FS 2004-2002 Republic P-47-D FAB (Força Aeraunáutica Brasileira) -- This texture was made by Jean-Claude Pistoresi ‘Mangueira’ in 2006 for the original model by J R Lucariny (http://lucariny.sites.uol.com.br). Thanks to the author for his permission. -- This painting is in a honor to Fernando Correa Rocha, ex-member of 1st Grupo de Aviação de Caça (1° GavCA) during the World war II. Then 2e tenente-aviador Rocha, he was pilot in the famous "Senta a Pua" and took part in the Italian sky to 75 missions of attack against the forces of the Axis. This plane, Republic P-47D-25-RE "FAB4109", recently restored, belongs to the Fundação Santos-Dumont (São Paulo - Brazil) -- The original model by J R Lucariny is necessary to use this FAB repaint.

T-33A Royal Dutch Air Force

File Description:
The T-33A "T-Bird" joined the Dutch Air Force in the beginning of the fifties and they were operational up until 1972. 63 planes in total, 3 of them being reconnaissance aircraft (RT-33A). The first planes received the exterior decoration for "non combatant aircraft" as it was called then. A yellow band around both wings and a broad yellow band around the rear end of the aircraft. The Dutch Air Force code on the nose was applied in a similar way to that of the USAF and started with TR-1. This was later changed into an "M-" indication and the yellow striping was replaced by the now more familiar "day glow red" markings. This repaint depicts the early decoration of TR-15, a jet trainer of 313 Squadron, Volkel Air Base.

California Central Coast Scenery with Ultimate Terrain USA

File Description:
This is a complete revision to California Central Coast Scenery CCCOASTU.ZIP that was uploaded 9/13/05. This revision involves most of the files and replaces CCCOASTU.ZIP in it's entirety so the original version of CCCOASTU and it's Revisions 1 and 2 or any other versions of my CCC scenery are NOT required.

The primary goal for this revision was to replace as many API objects and effects as possible with XML/MDL library objects. The original intent for making these conversions was to begin to prepare for the FSX version of CCC scenery if that becomes practical. Because I also made several improvements and fixes during that process and because performance was improved due to use of object libraries I realized it might be appropriate to upload the results as a revision.

Ground Texture Upgrade

File Description:
These new textures for FSX enhance your defualt ground airport textures. This package contains all new high detailed taxiway textures, ground textures, and all new taxiway line textures. The new ground textures give a more realistic illusion of rocks, grass, etc. Autogen as well as taxiways, will now look more realistice and "in place"since they are no longer over a low resolution detail 1.bmp file. The new taxiway line textures ( or taxilines as I call them) make your defualt taxilines look even more realistic. Now you will see enviromental weathering effects such as cracks and holes on the taxiline paint. And finally, the new taxiway textures upgrade the defualt FSX ones. Every detail, crack, and pebble was carefully analyzed and created with the aid of hi-res sources.

Italian Air Force Lockeed P-38 / F-5E

File Description:
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was one of the most prominent fighters throughout WWII in both major theaters of operation. The L was also the only series to be produced under contract by a different manufacturer than Lockheed. In all, nearly 4,000 P-38L's were made, making it the most numerous variant. Many of these were converted to F-5 Photo Lightnings. The Italian Air Force (Aeronautica Militare Italiana) received from U.S.A.A.F., after the war's end, several used P-38 in various version (L / J / F-5), but many aircrafts were bought as 'metal' from U.S.A.A.F's scraps by A.M.I. and 'heroically' restored in flight condition by Italian technicians. Textures only for a P-38 / F-5E, in 'A.M.I. 3rd Stormo' livery for payware 'Sky Unlimited Lockheed Aircraft P38 Vol.1'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

Royal Italian Air Force Lockeed P-38J

File Description:
The Lockheed P-38 Lightning was one of the most prominent fighters throughout WWII in both major theaters of operation. P-38s scored some of the first victories in the Pacific Theater. In Europe, they often provided high-altitude long range escorts for bombers. A P-38 was captured by the Italians on 12th June 1943 after a mistaken landing in Capoterra airport (Cagliari, Sardinia). After a while, with 'Regia Aeronautica's insignas (Royal Italian Air Force), it was flown by Colonel Angelo Tondi in a fighter mission over Torvajanica (Rome), where a B-24 was shotted down. The aircraft was finally grounded due to the damages caused by Italian fuel to the tanks.Textures only in 'Regia Aeronautica' livery for payware 'Sky Unlimited Lockheed Aircraft P38 Vol.1'. Repaint by Manuele Villa.
