Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - An INDEX. This is an index in Excel format (xls) of the popular Tips and Tricks series compiled by David "Opa" Marshall, parts 1 thru 11. The index may be "searched" and "sorted" to display the information you desire. A short guide in .doc format is included to assist those who may not be familiar with Excel. Requires Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet program), which is a part of the Microsoft Office Suite. When the Tips and Tricks series resumes in the Fall of 2005, we anticipate including an updated copy of this Index with each issue. Panel Icon for use with Airport Chart Viewer Program - with an illustrated installation guide. This package provides a panel icon for use with the fine program by Holger Maass - apchart.zip. Because it is listed in the FSX category here in the library, many may not be aware the program works well in FS2004 also. I have created this panel icon to easily invoke the Chart Viewer while flying. No programming knowledge is required. The icon can be added to vitually any panel and setups for the default Beech Baron 58 and B737-400 are included. Please unzip this package to a temporary folder and follow the instructions. The guide has been compiled in .DOC and .PDF formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

This is a repaint of the Carenado's excellent Cessna 337 Skymaster. These textures represent a Cessna Super Skymaster O-2A as it appeared in November, 2005 at Nellis AFB. Carenado has not done an O-2A model as of yet therefore this texture set is fictitious. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Carenado's payware package.

File Description:
iFDG is proud to present the Airbus A320. The aircraft model includes most of the standard features including animated control surfaces, wingviews, flaps, full lighting configuration, and highly detailed, reflective textures. "The A320 was launched on March 2, 1984. It is the first subsonic commercial aircraft with fly-by-wire controls. First flight took place on February 22, 1987. The A320-100 was the initial version and was superseded by the A320-200 from the third quarter of 1988. The A320-200 differs from the A320-100 in having wingtip fences, a wing center-section fuel tank, and a higher MTOW. This package features ZK-OJF, A brand new A320-232 of Air New Zealand. v1.1 removes the small green line under the port wing(left accidentally), adds the effects folder for those who don't have it and corrects the sound folder name so the sounds will work correctly without editing. This is a full package rather than just an update as I thought that would be more convenient and less confusing for the majority of users.

File Description:
The 737-600 and -700 are the smaller members of Boeing's successful Next Generation 737-600/700/800/900 family. The new engines and wings allow the 737 to cruise at Mach 0.78 to Mach 0.80, while the larger wing allows greater fuel tankage and transcontinental USA range. The improved Next Generation Boeing 737 family (originally covered by the 737X designation) was launched in November 1993. The 737-700 was the first member of the new family to be developed, and is based on the 737-300, while the 737-600 is based on the 737-500. 737-600 was launched was launched on March 16 1996, first flew on January 22 1998 and entered service (with SAS) in September that year. This is an Air China Boeing 737-600 (Operator designator 6N = 737-66N). These textures are for use with Aircraft Repaints New Zealands' (ARNZ) AIS-AI model, which has groundbreaking new features for AI which include animated inbuilt scenery, which will bring your AI and airports to life!

Royal Norwegian Air Force Lockheed F-104G Starfighter, aka the Zipper, Coffin Nail, Widowmaker, Flying Coffin, or Missile with a Man in It; in untrained hands it resembles a lawn dart, as nicknamed by the Canadians. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this hotrod of military jet history. Going into production in 1955, this aircraft was manufactured, directly or by license, by 6 countries, and served the air forces of 17 countries. Late examples served until 2004, nearly fifty years after its introduction. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the Lockheed F-104G and Canadair CF-104 (new model) in the service of the Royal Norwegian Air Force; with a total of 22 models and 41 repaints. I am also including some optional variants with separate manual install instructions. Lastly, this package includes a small fix for one model in my Danish Starfighter package (mpai_f104g_rdaf.zip). Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

Aeronautica Militare Fiat/Aeritalia G.91. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this backbone of close air support in Europe during the Cold War years. The G.91 was built to suit a requirement for a NATO-compatible aircraft for close air support and light strike roles, able to operate from terrain as primitive as a flat grassy meadow (I found photos during research that support this). Going into production in 1961, this aircraft was manufactured for 19 years and served three European air forces for 35 years. The G.91 saw extensive combat service in Africa while operated by the Portuguese Air Force.
An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the G.91 in the service of the Italian Air Force and Frecce Tricolori Demonstration Team; with a total of 22 models and 74 repaints. Aircraft models covered are the G.91PAN, G.91R1, G.91R1A, G.91R1B, G.91T1, and G.91Y. Aircraft, textures, and flight dynamics by Michael Pearson.
