This folder contains a repaint for the Boeing B-52 by Captain Sim. It shows B-52H 61-015 "the Last Laugh" based in Barksdale, LA, which recently visited the Avalon Airshow in Victoria, Australia, piloted by Captain McCracken. The aircraft was built in 1961, when the father of her present pilot wasn't even born. The aircraft has currently 19.000 flying hours behind her and has dropped bombs in anger, during the wars with Iraq and supporting coalition forces during the war on terror. She is expected to fly on for a few more decades.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit supplied by Capatain Sim.

| Douglas A-20C Boston Dutch Naval Air Service |

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-20C by Milton Shupe and his team. It shows Douglas DB7 Boston D52 of the Royal Dutch East Indies Navy, Andir, 6 March 1942. In december 1941, the Dutch government ordered 32 Douglas Boostons for the defence of the Dutch Indies after the outbreak of war in the Pacific. These aircraft were destined for the MLD, or Dutch Naval Air Service. The aircraft were painted in RAF camouflage colors and received Dutch orange triangles on the fuselage and the underside of the wings, together with a serial consisting of a D with a number and the text KON.MARINE on the nose. The aircraft were crated and shipped to the Dutch East Indies, with the first six arriving in Java on the 27th of February 1942, just a day before the Japanese landings in Java. The crates were unloaded in Tjilatjap. It was decided to try and assemble a few aircraft on the spot, in the harbor of Tjilatjap, while three crates were sent to Andir by train. Despite Japanese bombing raids on the harbor, the MLD technicians managed to assemble two Bostons in the harbor, and on the morning of the 5th of March, Lt Burgerhout, a Catalina pilot, took of from an improvised runway withh D52 and flew to Tasikmalaja, where it was planned to fill the aircraft with fuel for the flight to Andir air base. However, no suitable fuel was found. Before the second Boston could be flown out, the 'runway' was destroyed by a second Japanese bomb raid, so the ground crew destroyed the aircraft. The aircraft at Tasikmalaja was destroyed on the 8th of Mmarch, just before the capitulation of the Dutch East Indies. Of the aircraft transported by train, one was assembled, and this fell intact into the hands of the Japanese, who later used it for flight evaluations. The other two aircraft were destroyed by their ground crews. The other 26 Bostons still underway were diverted to Australia, and these later flew with no 22 squadron of the RAAF. However, several of these tours have specific requirements of Orbx scenery which is detailed in the .txt instructions.Photos of all the lites are included in each mission set. Once again, be sure to read the instructions in the .txt files. These missions have been thoroughly tested and should work as described. Due to large topographic differences in P3DV5 and V6, there will be peculiarities, but the missions should still work.

File Description:
cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat Mk-I RAF E-L Serial #JV-131.The Jv-131 was a Grumman Hellcat Mk-I (originally to have been Gannet Mk-I) of the Fleet Air Arm, corresponding to the F6F3. This aircraft was probably with the 800 NAS aboard the HMS Emperor on September 10, 1945 when the carrier sailed into Singapore harbor to restore British rule. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhaul Model. Note black and white invasion stripes on fuselage and upper and lower main wing surfaces. Code letters are red, outlined in white. File Description:
Copalis State Airport in Grays Harbor County, Washington is listed in Popular Mechanics' 18 strangest airports in the world. It is a public airport consisting of beach sand available as a runway at low tide and has no other facilities. The airport "runway" occurs in the wrong location in FSX with UT-USA, and this package corrects that as well as adding some scenery. Look out for seagulls when landing and taking off. The dolphin playing offshore are as hard to spot as they are in real life. A campsite fire helps you locate the landing area, and two small GA parking spaces are available for AI traffic.

and riverfront (with custom made buildings, hotels, convention center, gold domed
courthouse, and Talmadge Bridge), harbor with container terminal, AI ship traffic, and
a custom built streetcar to travel the downtown streets of Savannah.
KSAV Savannah/Hilton Head Intl Airport has a custom built terminal, Gulfstream factory, and Air National
Guard facility. KSVN Hunter AAF has a custom built US Coast Guard facility and AI helicopter
traffic. Coastal Tybee Island is represented with beachfront resorts and hotels, pier,
shopping district, and 2 functioning lighthouses. Great for the VFR flyer!

File Description:
This is a reload of my recent Haneda scenery (RJTT_JS.zip) and contains all fixes and missing files. Haneda International (RJTT) is one of the oldest (1931) civil airports in Japan. Over 80% of its traffic is domestic and, with the opening of the new Terminal 2, is a major hub for both JAL and ANA airlines. This scenery I did for myself because I've always preferred Haneda to Narita. This scenery includes photo-ground cover for the airport with custom objects including the new runway 5 island and harbor Aqualine structures. Certainly not a patch on the many fine commercial sceneries available but it's free and an improvement over the default.
