| Douglas A-20C Boston Dutch Naval Air Service |

This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-20C by Milton Shupe and his team. It shows Douglas DB7 Boston D52 of the Royal Dutch East Indies Navy, Andir, 6 March 1942. In december 1941, the Dutch government ordered 32 Douglas Boostons for the defence of the Dutch Indies after the outbreak of war in the Pacific. These aircraft were destined for the MLD, or Dutch Naval Air Service. The aircraft were painted in RAF camouflage colors and received Dutch orange triangles on the fuselage and the underside of the wings, together with a serial consisting of a D with a number and the text KON.MARINE on the nose. The aircraft were crated and shipped to the Dutch East Indies, with the first six arriving in Java on the 27th of February 1942, just a day before the Japanese landings in Java. The crates were unloaded in Tjilatjap. It was decided to try and assemble a few aircraft on the spot, in the harbor of Tjilatjap, while three crates were sent to Andir by train. Despite Japanese bombing raids on the harbor, the MLD technicians managed to assemble two Bostons in the harbor, and on the morning of the 5th of March, Lt Burgerhout, a Catalina pilot, took of from an improvised runway withh D52 and flew to Tasikmalaja, where it was planned to fill the aircraft with fuel for the flight to Andir air base. However, no suitable fuel was found. Before the second Boston could be flown out, the 'runway' was destroyed by a second Japanese bomb raid, so the ground crew destroyed the aircraft. The aircraft at Tasikmalaja was destroyed on the 8th of Mmarch, just before the capitulation of the Dutch East Indies. Of the aircraft transported by train, one was assembled, and this fell intact into the hands of the Japanese, who later used it for flight evaluations. The other two aircraft were destroyed by their ground crews. The other 26 Bostons still underway were diverted to Australia, and these later flew with no 22 squadron of the RAAF. File Description:
YBJW Banjawarn Station is a remote sheep station in Western Australia. It is situated 220 miles (350 km) north of Kalgoorlie and 500 miles (800 km) north east of Perth, on the edge of the Great Victoria Desert. It covers an area of 500,000 acres (780 square miles), about the size of West Yorkshire and a little smaller than the Australian Capital Territory. In the 1990's Banjawarn was owned by the Aum Shinrikyo and following the Tokyo subway attack was the subject of an Australian Federal Police investigation. CAM3 is the local airstrip In the heart of the Cowichan Valley located on the eastern side of Vancouver Island situated near Duncan and North Cowichan communities. A short hop from both Nanaimo (CYCD) and Victoria (CYYJ) this airstrip sits atop a large gravel deposit plateau. Immediately adjacent to this airstrip is an active gravel mining operation. This scenery builds on the default Orbx airstip and adds additional elements to the airstrip and surrounding area. Designed to be compatible only with Orbx PNW scenery. Added are real life elements such as the cafe - burger joint, additional hangers, airport clutter, lighting, custom 3D people, industrial gravel operations, airport fencing, birds and other eye candy.

Eight lighthouse tours: Azores, Concord Point, Escombreras, Fenwick Island, Harbor of Refuge, Ilha Rasa, Sapelo Island, and Sisters Islet.These missions were programmed in Windows 10 (64bit)for FSX Acceleration and will also work in FSX Steam, P3DV3,V4,V5,and V6. However, several of these tours have specific requirements of Orbx scenery which is detailed in the .txt instructions.Photos of all the lites are included in each mission set. Once again, be sure to read the instructions in the .txt files. These missions have been thoroughly tested and should work as described. Due to large topographic differences in P3DV5 and V6, there will be peculiarities, but the missions should still work.

The airport Mombasa was tested in FSX (Steam should also work) and is published by me as freeware. Ai traffic works / approaches work as well as road traffic and jetways work. Go on safari and discover the animals of Africa start with a small plane or heli from the small runway towards the coast in low flight and find the animals, (Tip: at the waterholes ................ Visit the coast of Kenya with the hotels ................ make a harbor cruise and see many details ...............

| Sturt Point CWSP in Nunavut, Canada |

File Description:
Sturt Point was a DEW line I Station on the south coast of Victoria Island, 50 miles east of Cambridge Bay. It was closed in 1963 but remains in place, though a 5 man I Station has such a small impact on its surroundings that it is hardly visible. The runway is 3,420 feet of gravel aligned 117T/297T, and there are no lights, signage, or windsock, but there are ruts in the gravel. A North Warning System station was built 15 miles inland and closer to Cambridge Bay, operating from 1991 onwards. This has a short (1,280'?) gravel runway aligned 138T/318T (and named CWSX here). No ruts in the gravel, but also still no lights, signage, or windsock.

Welcome to OSM Wold: South America! This is a vector data scenery package covering the South American area. Coastlines, Rivers, lakes, roads, railways, and power lines with detail never before seen! All in an autogen-compatible density! You can see roundabouts, train terminals, harbor areas in a resolution of a point every 10 meters. At this same resolution a vectorial city class places residential (in small and big building variations, depending on surface area) and industrial areas exactly where they are supposed to be. This gives the city areas a resolution far superior to the capacity of FS-2004 default landclass bitmaps, limited to approximately 1 Km x 1 Km squares. OSM World: South America will even give you small roads leading to small towns (even a few houses across)! From big highway intersections, including ramps, to the tiniest rural pathways covering the entire South american area! Wherever in South America you fly, there is something to see!
You can enjoy this scenery near coastlines too! harbor areas and extremely detailed coastal topology (try the southern Chile). This scenery makes sure that the ocean is always flat, you can forget about the climbing water often found around photo-sceneries! This scenery is best paired with a good set of terrain meshes (like the freeware global SRTM mesh by Stephen Rothlisberger , available here: http://simviation.com/1/fs2004terrainmesh).

Textures only repaint of the WWII Fighters A6M5 from A2A-Shockwave. The textures are in DXT5 bmp format and have been tested only in FSX SP2 Acceleration, running in Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
The livery depicted in this repaint is that of PO 1c Shigenori Nishikaichi, who flew in the second wave from the IJN carrier Hiryu, in the attack on Pearl Harbor, HI, 7 December, 1941. The livery itself is historically accurate, with the "minor" exception that Nishikaichi's machine was an A6M2, Type 0 Model 21, rather than the later A6M5. However, the A2A simulations model presents one of the best available Zeros of any sort for use in FSX and has an excellent paint kit available for it produced by Martin Catney.
