File Description:
This is a repaint (textures only) for the Donationware B-17G Late from FighterTown Design Group. You can get it here for a great price!! www.donationware.net Thank you FDG for providing this great plane!! Special thanks go to Jarink, who is a repainter in IL-2/PF. Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints. This texture represents "Rhapsody in Red" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 91st Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. The 91th BG, one of the more famous groups in the Eighth Air Force. "The Ragged Irregulars" were based at Bassingbourn, England. "Rhapsody in Red" Crew Members:1st Lt. Frank L. Adams, Pilot (0763887); 1st Lt. Monte B. Adams, Co-Pilot (0556018); 1st Lt. Harold W. Rhapsody in Red completed 94 missions. Mr. Schultz believes that the members of this crew may have completed 35 missions. Her last sortie was also the 91st Bomb Group's last sortie on April 25, 1945. She returned to the U.S.A. on May 26, 1945. On November 28, 1945 she was sent to Kingman, Arizona.

Scenic Mountain Getaway Download

File Description:
A private cabin in a remote area of the Cascades sitting atop a plateau high on the side of a mountain. Offers a lakefront view ahead and a view of the vast green valley behind. There is a very small, makeshift airstrip only a few feet from the cabin marked with orange cones and dwarfed by towering trees at the landing end. There’s only one way in & out of this strip, a missed approach is not an option! Includes cabin, “airstrip,” 2 boats, picnic tables, bbq, a tool chest, storage boxes & crate, oil/fuel barrels, a small T-hanger, spectacular views and much more! Requires Rwy12 libraries and Holger Sandmann’s, “US North Cascades Mountains and Northwest Washington Coast” (us_wa_nc.zip). By, Kevin Yetman

Placerville (KPVF) Scenery Update Download

File Description:
An Update to the KPVF Placerville Scenery files. This update has two files, an AFCAD which has an additional GA parking spot named "W Parking 1". If you select this as your start location you will start your flight inside a green T hanger at the far end of the field where most of the additional scenery is placed. Also a new scenery file which has a lot more trees added to the northern area, which is what you see on the aerial photo. Also it corrects an error in which a stack of crates are hovering above the ground near the end of the parking ramp. You will need the original exclude file in the first KPVF Scenery so this is not a stand alone install.

Hartsfield - Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta, Georgia (KATL) Download

File Description:
This is a AFCAD2 file for the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (KATL). I tried to make the airport as realistic as possable with what is given to me with FS9. I included all gates at the airport including airline designators with the airlines that use the gates. Ample room is given to Delta (Concourse T,A,B,D amd International flts at ConcourseE) and Airtran (Concourse C), and all International airlines are assigned to their gates in Concourse E. In addition to that, all Cargo areas are alloted for in both the north and aSouth Cargo areas and are alloted to one cargo company (UPS, FedEx, Airborne Express, DHL, or USPS) Please let me know if you need an airport done, or have any questions.

English Electric Lightning for AI traffic - The Frightening Part 3 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
English Electric Lightning for AI traffic - The Frightening Part 3. This aircraft is one of the iconic military aircraft of the Cold War era, charged with home defense of the United Kingdom, as well as duties abroad, throught the 1960s - early 1980s. The Lightning served admirably in that role, was exported to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait; and also saw limted combat service in the Arabian penninsular region. After thirteen years of painting, and eight years of abortive attempts to discover the true mysteries of aircraft design, this is my first from-scratch original aircraft to make it to upload. There is a lot of Nick Black influence (and pilot figure) in this model, but the rest of the physical model is all mine, good or bad. This is an 8-LOD model, with all sorts of eye candy listed in the documentation. The painting comes from an age when gaudy heraldic liveries were quite acceptable on tactical aircraft, so this is a painter's dream as well. My intent was to make a very comprehensive offering with a lot of options (and paints), so to that end I am breaking this up into three manageable parts so it won't be a 70MB download. This is part 3, encompassing the export F.52, F.53, T.54, and T.55 variants; collectively containing 23 model options and 22 paints. Please take some time to read the extensive doucmentation, there are numerous credits and instructions regarding this model. Base models, paint kits, and release repaints by Michael Pearson, inspiration by Nick Black, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre, and relentless technical expertise from Steve Holland.
