File Description: UPDATE FOUND HERE:
This is the first release package of 38 EditVoicepack files for FS2004/FSX by the Alpha India Tower Group. Our goal is to provide accurate ATC calls in order to provide Microsoft Flight Simulator traffic with quality ATC. These sounds are the best that we have been able to compile and are accurate as of release date and to the extent that our data and the limitations of the EditVoicepack allow. Convair F-102A Delta Dagger. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for the second of the Century Series fighter aircraft, one of the backbones of Air Defense Command and Air National Guard squadrons from the mid-1950s to mid-1970s. The "Deuce" first flew in 1953, and 1,000 of these aircraft served as strategic interceptors during the height of the Cold War. Late examples served until 1979, over twenty years after its introduction; and many were expended as target drones on live fire ranges. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world.
This package is a complete representation of the F-102 through its entire career, in the service of the USAF as well as NASA, and the Hellenic and Turkish Air Forces. Models included are F-102A/TF-102A with both Case X and Case XX wings, and the PQM-102 manned and un-manned drones, with a total of 10 models and 164 repaints, to include over 70 individual squadron schemes. Original aircraft model, master textures, and all release repaints by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. PLEASE READ THE DOCUMENTATION FOR RESEARCH DISCLAIMERS.

File Description:
As promised, here are my Houston-Galveston Scenery Packs. I live in Houston and have been working on these areas for quite some time. Like all of us, we like to make our hometown airports as elaborate and as challenging as possible. Even tho these packs are in no way accurate, they are fun and interesting to fly around and site-see. Being the lazy person I am, no research was done and no claim to RL landmarks are implied.
I have added many objects to the airports and cities including terminals, hangers, buildings, parks, balloons, and other fun and interesting things. All of which were begged, borrowed or stolen from all the wonderful designers in the X-Plane Community such as Dave Spurlock, Christian Franz, Ted Davis, Robert Bunce, Tom Curtis, B. Brooks and all the others who have inspired me.
Like all my scenery packages, the additions to the citys and airports are purely fictional. The airports themselves are unaltered. I have enhanced "George Bush Intercontinental"(KIAH), "William P. Hobby"(KHOU), "Ellington Field Military Base"(KFLD) and "Scholes International" at Galveston (KGLS) airports. Look for the Johnson Space Center too.

XFCS simulates fly-by-wire control of combat aircraft. See readme.pdf for indepth description.
News in version 1.5
- XFCS now works with X-Plane's autopilot. All autopilot commands are exectuted by the FCS control laws, resulting in excellent autopilot accuracy and seemless integration.
- Improved pitch response in AoA-demand mode.
- AoA-demand mode blends AoA and speed data, making it easier to control speed and glideslope with power adjustments.
- AoA-feedback in G-demand mode: Flying above 15 degrees angle of attack requires light stick backpressure. Many real control systems work this way.
- Inverted flight now requires slight forward stick pressure. A lot of pilots feel more at home with this behaviour and many real FCS�s have it.
- �Mach bucket� is now simulated. This is a common way to handle transsonic pitch buffeting. Max load factor is decreased by 2 G�s in the Mach .95 - 1.1 range.
- XFCS should now run faster on low end computers, having less effect on frame rate.
- Transition from ground mode to flight mode now follows pitch attitude instead of airspeed. This works better for most designs.

This terrain mesh file is a part of a whole project covering all the Continent
of South America and some islands, divided in tiles identified in a map by its
column (letters) and rows (numbers).
Those files were multi-LOD compiled from 90m SRTM2 source data, reprocessed
with 3DEM to remove voids and spikes, providing a 76.4m (LOD9) horizontal
resolution topography intended for use only in FSX updated with SP1.
Although not well documented, to improve performance, the updated FSX loads DEM
files in threads and only the closer terrain (about 5-10 NM from the point of view)
is rendered in high detail, while at far distances FSX shows up its default low
resolution mesh, when there is not a third part terrain mesh compiled in all
others intermediate level of details (multi-LOD).
