Aerostar S700 'Spirit of Kai Tak'

File Description:
The Aerostar Super 700 is the World's fastest piston twin aircraft. The "Spirit of Kai Tak" competed in and won the London to Sydney Air Race in March/April 2001. This FS2000 & FS2002 only computer model performs similar to the real aircraft and also has a custom cockpit panel which I have designed (thanks to Harald Scheidl for the Yoke gauge, which I have modified for the Aerostar Yoke). I designed the panel using CFG Edit and the aircraft using Abacus FS Design Studio Pro and Aircraft Animator. There are many animated parts, including a steerable nose wheel, spoilers and it also has an illuminating landing light beam. Also included is a very good Piper 350 engine sound package (Author Unknown).

File Description:
The package includes five types of effects with xml-gauges ("afterburner", "engin-flame", "wing-contrail", "flap-contrail" and "engin-smoke"), and four types of xml-gauge_Switch ("afterburner", tailhook", "canopy open" and "spoiler" ). Not just the afterburner's xml-gauge, but also an effect appearance and a key operation of the afterburner are automatically controlled, by a throttle operation.This means to enhance reality when you use an aircraft which is designed to consider changes in fuel consuming by using the afterburner. Also, When a cruiseing speed becomes less than 200knot while flying higher than FL320, the afterburner will be unable to used(automatically turned off). All effects automatically appear,You don't have to press any key. You can experience more real flight.

Chase View Window in Cockpit View - Panel Icon addon

File Description:
Chase View - Panel Icon addon. This icon addition to your panel will bring up a small "Spot/Chase View" window while you are still in Cockpit view. All normal Spot View commands such as changing the view will be shown in this window while you are still in the cockpit! Great for parking and push-back situations and for verifying that your landing gear is down etc. etc.. The gauge is provided by Barry Blaisdell of Premier Aircraft Design. He has kindly granted permission for it to be included in this package which has been compiled by David "Opa" Marshall. A setup for the default b737-400 Panel is included. Just unzip to a temporary directory (using folders option) and follow the simple instructions.

Flags and Signs

File Description:
This package provides a little collection of flags and signs for scenery designers for FSX. The models have been developed with GMAX. Along with the textures the package includes the mdl files, and the XML files for the individual placement of the objects into a scenery. The bgl files are included as well. The documentation (see pdf file in the ZIP) contains a step by step description on how to place the objects into the FSX scenery. A gauge for a proper positioning of the objects is part of the package. CREDIT goes to: Bob Familton for spending his time on review the package and the documentation. File Description: For Saitek Pro Flight Instrument Panel. This is folder contains 2 analogical engine panels for Cessna 172. The two panels are identical except for the upper middle gauge, left side is EGT for Cessna_172_engine_1.xml file and it is manifold pressure instead for Cessna_172_engine_2.xml file. The package includes a serie of colored needles that can be change easily, just replace the default needles by the one of your choice. Default needles are yellow and provide more visibility in small gauges. The panel provides Fuel quantity for left and right tanks, Exhaust Gas Temperature or Manifold pressure, Fuel flow, Suction, Alternator charge, Rotation Per Minutes, Oil temperature and pressure, Flaps handle and bug, trim bug and numbers for pitch, rudder and aileron.

Original Mike Hambly Sounds are customized for the D18S Amphib by Scott Thomas. TBM 700 Smooth Throttle Modification

File Description:
The files in this package will modify the beautiful EADS Socata TBM 700 model by Michel Migaud, Cyril Breton etc. Their model is freeware and is probably one of the nicest freeware models ever made for MSFS. This package is not a stand-alone aircraft, so you need the original TBM 700 model. It's available at Avsim.com and the file name is tbm700_a.zip. This is mainly a fix for the 'ketchup bottle' throttle problem, but includes a few other fixes as well. Summary: (1) A fix for the 'ketchup bottle' throttle problem. (2) Torque gauge doesn't max out (3) No blackout when toggling panel on/off. (4) Horizon visible by default. (5) Missing rear navigation lights added (lights mod by Cirrus Productions, used with their permission).

Aero Commander 500 Cargo (With VC)

File Description:
Pkg incl Gmax A/C with "hand-flyer" flight dynamics (seat-of-the-pants navigation) and features a custom era correct panel (with a few broken gauges) and easy-to-read virtual cockpit (if you wipe the dirt off), a dirty paint scheme (indicative of bad weather, unimproved landing strips, pot holes, and no time to wash it) and matching interiors (treated for infestations), VC gauge backlighting (when the bulbs work), specular highlites in the VC and checklists (but who needs them). This cargo model is intended for the hardcore, backwoods, bush hauling work-a-holics trying to scrape a living out of remote freight. A "clean" version is also included for those obsessive-compulsive types. You might also enjoy the included 11 Cargo Flight plans.

File Description: This is a minor update to for the FS-X version of the P-180 V3.0. It contains optional bugfixes and improvements for: - Misbehaving click spots: altitude selector now is only +-100ft, easily operable via mouse wheel. - Missing Recognition light effect: the file was mistakenly not included in the 3.0 release. - lowered ITTs: for better hot climate behavior; now only very (very) hot days cause problems. - passenger removed form cabin. - Heading indicator/gyro now automatically synchronizes periodically. - loading time reduced: CAB gauge is now packed properly. - Autopilot ALT Mode misbehaviour: this function now performs as intended. - High-resolution cabin & cockpit textures. Northrop F-5B Freedom Fighter Hellenic Air Force

File Description:
This is a superb aircraft I used to fly as a Hellenic Air Force pilot. This repaint is presenting an F-5B Freedom Fighter as it used to fly with 343rd Squadron of Hellenic Air Force, during the '90ties. The F-5 Freedom Fighter was a very succesfull aircraft during its 30 year carrer in HAF as a fighter, bomber, multy role aircraft until the early months 2001 when finaly released by active duty. The project is fully combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions. It is based on a very realistic FS model, with realistic features, made by FSD International. The package contains realistic sounds made by Mr. Angelos Hatzikatakos. A new, based on real photos and diagrams 2D panel, was made by Nick Karatzides who also modified (for FS purposes) the official checklist by Northrop. A VERY completed flight manual (60 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat is included. The panel (combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions) uses plenty of realistic gauges to simulate the real F-5's cockpit. The HUD gauge is made by Mr. Eric Marciano, afterburner flame effects by Mr. Jan Rosenberg and fuel jettison gauge by Mr. Doug Dawson. This "F5B_HAF1.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the controls and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying...It is for people who want to know how it looks to fly with a modern fighter. The package contains visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc. Instructions for both FS2K2 and FS9 versions are included.
