| Palestinian Airlines 1998 AI Package |
|
File Description:
Palestinian Airlines was the short-lived hopeful airline of Palestine. Until the opening of the Yasser Arafat International Airport on the Gaza Strip(GZA\LVGZ) in November 1998, all flights were based out of the Al Arish Airport(AAC\HEAR) in Egypt. As I find GZA more interesting, I have made a version of these plans that use GZA and a version that use AAC, as in the September OAG, all flights were using AAC. Scheduled flights were flown by a lone Fokker 50, with 3x weekly to AMM and 2x weekly to JED. The 727-200 was doing charters to cities in the region, so I made representative plans for it using photo data and some other information I was able to find out about the routes and even general timings. The 727-200 departs GZA/AAC at 0830 daily and spends the night upon arrival, so you can often catch it at the home base while still seeing it abroad. Textures for the AIA 727-200 and NAAI Fokker 50 by APG Designs\Antoine Calleja and Christian Gold included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. | Delco Carousel IV-A for Dreamfleet Boeing 727 v2.2 |
|
File Description:
Delco Carousel IV-A for Dreamfleet 727 v2.2
NEW VERSION - in the previous 2.1 version a wrong set of panel.cfg files had sneaked in. Apart from the fact that this made the author look stupid, these files are harmless and will be overwritten by this new version - do NOT uninstall/remove the previous version prior to installing this one.
Dual INS mockup for all your Dreamfleet 727 v2 cockpits PLUS a TCAS and Transponder set that is fully compatible for online flying! This package includes: dual INS setup which is much more realistic for a 727 than the triple setup previously released (NOTE: the INS gauges are NOT included and need to be downloaded at this website: http://simufly.com/ins/) They come with a neat installer, so no worries. All gauges are now located where they would be in reality, that is on the overhead and next to the wx radar on the forward pedestal as well in the virtual cockpit! Package includes the excellent freeware IVSI embedded TCAS & Transponder by I.L. Hetherington in ALL non-EFIS variants, both 2D and virtual cockpit! Package includes ilhtcaschange.gau by Jose Oliveira. It is now possible to add gauges to the forward pedestal panel even in the virtual cockpit - FMS, GPS, you name it.

| Nomads Travel Club 1998 |
|
File Description:
Nomads Travel Club may be one of the most storied travel clubs in aviation history. Founded in 1961 and based in Detroit(DTW), where the airline had it's own terminal, Nomads Travel Club gave up to 10,000 adventurous members the opportunity to hop on aircraft for elaborate tours across the earth. Initially flying a DC-7C, the airline upgraded to a L-188 Electra, CV-990, 727-100, and finally 727-200 N727M in 1993 which served the club until it's demise in 2011. N727M has traveled to dozens of countries and hundreds of airports, and I was able to find good information about 2 tours flown in 1998 and represented them in these plans. The aircraft spends at least half a day at each destination except for YHZ which is just a Westbound refueling stop. As far as I could find, the airline had no callsign or codes, so I am guessing they used the registration as a callsign. There is a paint for the AIA 727-200 on Avsim as "aib722nomads.zip".Flightplans by Chasen Richardson, based on real tours flown in 1998. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. | Air Zaire 737-298C 1975 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a repaint of a 737-298C in Air Zaire colors. The freeware Erick Cantu/Vistaliners 737-200 is needed for this repaint. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX & P3D v1-3. (A link of the FSX panel I used to fly the aircraft is included). Textures are 32bit DDS for better image quality. BMP DXT3 textures are also included for FS9 users.
Air Zaire operated a total of 7 737-200s. This particular aircraft was purchased new in 1973. It flew for the airline until 1995 when it crashed on landing in bad weather, no fatalities.
