| Wings of Power II B17 "Tiger Girl" |
|
File Description:
Wings of Power II Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress for FSX repaint - "Tiger Girl"
This is a repaint only depicting "Tiger Girl" of the 388th Bomb Group, 560th Squadron late model B-17F with the new chin turret.
Many thanks to John Terrell for sharing his templates, they were a great help. This plane was lost on its’ 12th mission when bombs were released over the target, one bomb from another group flying directly overhead
hit Tiger Girl and split it in 2, only the navigator survived.
I’ve always wanted to make a B-17 paint with the shark/tiger mouth, it wasn’t possible until this version.

| Walvis Bay International Airport, Namibia (FYWB) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
A custom Gmax made Walvis Bay International Airport (FYWB) in Namibia. This representation still has the old terminal building before it was rebuilt into the current structure. The scenery consist of custom made models with photorealistic textures and a photoreal ground that blends nicely with the dessert surroundings. This scenery was around 90% completed when I stopped to wait for the new terminal to be finished, but I have since lost all my source files and as such I am releasing this as is (with the old terminal still in use). The scenery only covers the airport and so the Rooikop Army Base is not included.

| Sikorsky S76 "Northwest Rotors" - fictitious paint for AI |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Sikorsky S76 "Northwest Rotors" - fictitious paint for AI. This paint is intended to replace the plain white S-76 AI aircraft in Robert Lacy's nicely crafted S23 Ione airfield scenery (ione_s23.zip) available at AVSIM. This paint requires the AI Sikorsky S-76C (elvis_sikorsky_s-76.zip - also available at Avsim). If you have the Ione scenery you may well already have Chris Jones' base model. The scheme is fictitious, made using a paintkit by fellow Aussie Mal Lloyd. Repaint by John Burford. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions.
