Textures for Tom Gibson's Douglas DC-7C - repainted Manfred Meyer.
You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-7C base pack with model, sound and panel from calclassic.com.
These textures decipt HR-ALY (c/n 45230) originally delivered to Alitalia and later served with Spantax. The aircraft was 1978 converted to freighter and after some other owners she was bought by Carlos Gomez and William Warra. Overhauled and registered in Honduras, the aircraft operated on various freight contracts out of Miami. Unfortunately HR-ALY was damaged beyond repair due to an explosion in one of her fuel tanks during maintenance in Miami.

Convair T-29B (240-27) "Flying Classroom", tn 51-7906, cn 318, in Markings of U.S. Navy, Training Squadron 29 (VT-29), Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, 1966. Delivered to U.S. Air Force in 1953. Transferred to U.S. Navy on January 29, 1963. Withdrawn from use and stored at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona in April 1976. For preservation donated to Pima Country Air Museum on August 26, 1981 and placed on display. Textures and associated model file included only. Requires cv240VBFmilitary_basepack_010.ZIP. You will need to have installed the truly excellent Classic Ships Library created by Mike Stevens, which is part of Wolfgang Gersch's Classic Scenery Libraries; this is available here and there is a link to it on the California Classics scenery page. The technique used to place the ships and their wakes is described in David 'Opa' Marshall's 'Add Animated Wakes to Static Ships - An Illustrated Tutorial', which is also available here, and which inspired the present download.

File Description:
Textures for Tom Gibson's Convair CV-440 - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Convair CV-440 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com. These textures decipt 8P-RUM "Isle of Martinique" (c/n 488) of Air Calypso, Barbados. This is an ex Iberia aircraft (ex EC-APY), delivered 1959. Air Calypso bought it in 1972 and used it for day-tour and charter work throughout the Caribbean until 1975. Calypso had two further CV-440's with the nice registrations 8P-FUN and 8P-SUN. Air Calypso ceased operations in 1975 and the Convairs were stored and sold.

CV-240-12, reg.-id OO-AWP, cn 153, delivered to Sabena on March 19, 1949, sold to Polish Airlines LOT on October 7, 1957, bought by World Associates on January 28, 1966, sold to Westernair of Albuquerque in January 1966, purchased by Polaris Air Transport on June 1, 1966, registered LN-KAP and named "Vega", bought by Mey Air on October 4, 1969, in June 1973 withdrawn from use and stored, finally broken up at Oslo-Fornebu, Norway. Base pack for the "Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded" in CA-18 version, the famous American short haul
airliner from the fifties. This is a reloaded Gmax rendition based on the Calclassic Convair (by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson), but it is no longer compatible with that model. Base for further CA-18 add-ons prepared by VBF. Includes visual model and textures for the first CV-240 ever built in 1947 (Reg.-ID NX90846) and painted in the house colors of Consolidated Aircraft. Panel and sound must be installed separately (see User Manual). Flight dynamics by FSAviator. By Virtual Birds Factory (Hans Hermann and Georg Hauzenberger)

This repaint package has been produced from a wealth of available imagery that is available to view freely on the internet. Each individual aircraft has been repainted and details such as windows placement, logo/title placement and variances in doors have been reproduced with extreme accuracy. All Everts Air Cargo and Everts Air Fuel individual aircraft have been covered (14). This file does require previous installation of the original DC6-B aircraft from Calclassics (www.calclassic.com) See included readme file for details.
