Base pack for the "Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded" in CA-18 version, the famous American short haul
airliner from the fifties. This is a reloaded Gmax rendition based on the Calclassic Convair (by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson), but it is no longer compatible with that model. Base for further CA-18 add-ons prepared by VBF. Includes visual model and textures for the first CV-240 ever built in 1947 (Reg.-ID NX90846) and painted in the house colors of Consolidated Aircraft. Panel and sound must be installed separately (see User Manual). Flight dynamics by FSAviator. By Virtual Birds Factory (Hans Hermann and Georg Hauzenberger)

CV-240-12, reg.-id OO-AWP, cn 153, delivered to Sabena on March 19, 1949, sold to Polish Airlines LOT on October 7, 1957, bought by World Associates on January 28, 1966, sold to Westernair of Albuquerque in January 1966, purchased by Polaris Air Transport on June 1, 1966, registered LN-KAP and named "Vega", bought by Mey Air on October 4, 1969, in June 1973 withdrawn from use and stored, finally broken up at Oslo-Fornebu, Norway. Textures and associated model file included only. Requires cv240VBFca18_basepack_010.ZIP. This repaint package has been produced from a wealth of available imagery that is available to view freely on the internet. Each individual aircraft has been repainted and details such as windows placement, logo/title placement and variances in doors have been reproduced with extreme accuracy. All Everts Air Cargo and Everts Air Fuel individual aircraft have been covered (14). This file does require previous installation of the original DC6-B aircraft from Calclassics (www.calclassic.com) See included readme file for details. File Description:
This texture set of Affretair's VP-VTY is for the Calclassic DC-7C and requires the original aircraft by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson. Aircraft c/n 837 was originally delivered to KLM in 1957 as PH-DSI and converted to a freighter in 1962. Aer Turas Teoranta operated the aircraft as EI-ATV until 1969 when it was purchased by Affretair and based in Gabon as TR-LNZ. In 1979 it was leased to the Rhodesian Air Force and returned to Affretair in 1980 as VP-VTY and based at FVHA. Million Air bought the aircraft in 1985 as N103LM. Its final registration was N869TA of Trans Air Link.

File Description:
Textures for Tom Gibson's Convair CV-440 - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Convair CV-440 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com. These textures decipt 8P-RUM "Isle of Martinique" (c/n 488) of Air Calypso, Barbados. This is an ex Iberia aircraft (ex EC-APY), delivered 1959. Air Calypso bought it in 1972 and used it for day-tour and charter work throughout the Caribbean until 1975. Calypso had two further CV-440's with the nice registrations 8P-FUN and 8P-SUN. Air Calypso ceased operations in 1975 and the Convairs were stored and sold.

Textures for Tom Gibson's Convair CV-440 - repainted by Manfred Meyer. You need to download and install the latest Convair CV-440 base pack with model, sound and panel from the website calclassic.com.
These textures decipt N440JM (c/n 434) of Mackey International Airlines. This is an ex Eastern Air Lines aircraft (ex N9316), delivered 1957. Mackey bought it in 1970 and used it on his extensive network connecting Florida with the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos Islands and Haiti until 1980. In the late years of the operation the titles changed from Mackey International Airlines to Mackey International Air Commuter. This plane was sold 1983 to YAC Aircraft Inc. and scrapped 1982.

File Description:
This is a total remake of the default KLAX airport. All of the terminals, cargo areas and maintenance buildings have been completely redone using google maps and Airport Design Editor. There is the new Tom Bradley Intl Terminal along the planned second Intl terminal, the elevated shuttle, and the West End RON/Maint area. The Union 76 DC-s is also on display at the Flight Path Museum on the south side of the airport. I also included the historical Spanish Mission style Hangar One located next to the FedEx parking ramp. Each terminal has been remade to conform to placement and size using google maps. Enjoy the scenery.
