File Description:
This is a retro scenery covering the late 50s early 60s with Civil, USAF and ANG aircraft stationed there during this period which is my interest. DeltaDart has provided period Squadron Textures for most of the aircraft included in this scenery including the F89 Scorpion, F-86L SabreDogs, and the F-102 Delta Dagger. Individual traffic files included for 1955, 1957. 1959 and 1962, all with various aircraft from each covered year. This scenery is meant to be used in the Calclassic environment by Tom Gibson and the Calclassic community though it will work on its own. By Al Von Pingel.

Model features: Dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence.
Drooping control surfaces when engines are shut off, push back truck, RAT,
opening doors, cargo doors, Flight attendant, opening cockpit window with animated flag,
and many more. This model includes only the wingview version,
the virtual cockpit and panel will be added later. Soundset can be downloaded seperately.
WORKS ONLY IN FS2004.

Val-U-Prop has now acquired an FS98 DC-6 - and it's a beauty. Based on the original work of Tom Gibson and Harry Follas, the aircraft has terrific flight dynamics (by Harry Follas), that are stable and easy to fly. Aircraft will work in FS98 or FS2000 as well. This package includes the panel Dc4jcuv2.zip, and the two together comprise a combination that makes Val-U-Prop truly the airline where "No job is too small; No fee too large." This is Ray Smith's FSX file. Ray has given me permission to modify his file for P3Dv4. Assigned parking updated as per their website. At the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT), A380 gates are assigned to those airlines that only use A380's. The rest of the gates at TBIT are random parking. Gate 39 at Terminal 3 is for Virgin Australia's 777 departures. American Eagle flights are operating from the East Satellite terminal. Taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts. Extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt. Lighted helipad beside the Theme Restaurant and many other scenery improvements are included.

Base pack for the "Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded" in CA-18 version, the famous American short haul
airliner from the fifties. This is a reloaded Gmax rendition based on the Calclassic Convair (by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson), but it is no longer compatible with that model. Base for further CA-18 add-ons prepared by VBF. Includes visual model and textures for the first CV-240 ever built in 1947 (Reg.-ID NX90846) and painted in the house colors of Consolidated Aircraft. Convair T-29B (240-27) "Flying Classroom", tn 51-7906, cn 318, in Markings of U.S. Navy, Training Squadron 29 (VT-29), Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas, 1966. Delivered to U.S. Air Force in 1953. Transferred to U.S. Navy on January 29, 1963. Withdrawn from use and stored at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona in April 1976.
