| Leeuwarden Airbase 'EHLW' V2.0 |

File Description:
Detailed and accurate yet framerate friendly scenery for the Leeuwarden Airbase also known as "Fighter town Europe". (ICAO designation EHLW). Leeuwarden is one of the two Main Operating bases (MOB) of the F-16 fleet. It has two F-16 squadrons (322 & 323) and one SAR squadron which flies the AB412SP helicopter. The annual exercises Frisian Flag, DWIC en FWIT are held on this airbase. The following items are changed/new with version 2. Added new ILS for rwy 09/27 (This is ILS installation from Twente AB, which will be closed), including new ILS glide slope antennas for 09/27 and localizer antennas for all runways. Added barrier's to the runways, tuning in the ILS freq will put the cable up at the end of the runway! Upgrade and cleanup of the texture to improve frame rate. Optimalization of macro's to reduce polygon resulting a slightly higher frame rate. Also now included an AFCAD file. Scenery is compatible with default scenery and the NL2000 scenery.

Saab 340B Freighter Complete ...
Two variations - actually a very slight difference between the two ..
one is a factory version ... meaning that there were never any window ports cut in.
The second is a "in field" conversion ... meaning that a former passenger version was converted to pure freight with the outlines of the ports still visable as "plugs were used to blank out the windows.
Pictured are the two versions painted for my freight service, however both textures included are "blank" ... without any markings or "N-numbers" - ready for you to customize to your liking. The one photo I found at the official Saab site was of the Factory Version which had the word CARGO emblazened on the side... I skipped that part, figuring once in service, the lack of windows would be a pretty good clue that it was a freight only. Pilots and ground crews are pretty smart ladies and gentlemen... and they tend to be quick on the up-take.

| Simflyers Washington Dulles (KIAD) with Active Crosswind Runway |

File Description:
A high spec AFCAD2 for the 'Simflyers' Washigton Dulles (KIAD) scenery. This is the first and only AFCAD2 available at Avsim for this scenery and has been built from scratch. Using the Crosswind runway technique, Runway 12/30 is now open for use at the same time as the 01R/19L and 01L/19R runways. A tower view is now available at the airport. All taxiways and gates/ramps are named and match the scenery. All gates and cargo ramps feature airline assignments. All concourses are represented to be as near real as possible. Concourse 'G' (United Express) does not exist on this scenery (it was not built when simflyers released the scenery), so ive placed 23 gates for United Express on the holding area, just to the south of the real life location of this concourse (see the screenshots). An extensive GA Apron is also provided. All traffic flows smoothly and this afcad will certainly bring the airport to life.

This package is the first of many true 1080p panels being released by Alachtio Design over the next few months. These panels are simple reworks. Taking existing 2D panels, not optimized for 1920x1080 resolutions, and making them have the proper aspect ratio like they should! This specific file includes a widescreen panel for the PMDG 747 FS9. This panel maintains the clarity of the panels night lighting while increasing the real estate for more displays. Like the Lower DU and DU Control Panel. Included is a document that outlines all the soon-to-be-released packages, including the: PMDG 747 FSX, PMDG MD11 FS9/FSX, Wilco Vol1-Vol2 FS9/FSX, Level-D 767 FS9/FSX, and more! Inukjuak is a fairly large village on the east coast of Hudson Bay, in Quebec, around 115 miles south of Puvirnituq. The usual Hudson Bay Company post was established there in 1920, and with the opening of a school in 1951 the population grew as the nomadic way of life faded away; the population is now around 1350. Some of the population was forcibly relocated to Resolute and Grise Fiord in 1953 as "human flagpoles", a shameful act by the Canadian government that is hard to believe could ever happen. The airfield is a mile inland from the village and the 3,520 feet of gravel runway is aligned 07/25, and these are magnetic bearings as Inukjuak is not in the Northern Domestic Airspace zone. Both JETA-1 and 100LL fuel is available, though there may be only a limited quantity of 100LL, and probably in drums. The visiting AI airline is Air Inuit.

This livery represents a fictional "What if" repaint set of the magnificent payware Nemeth Design Bell UH-1C in Royal Netherlands Navy (Marines) Liveries.
In the 60-ies the Royal Netherlands Navy purchased a number of Agusta licence built Bell-204 (UH-1B) helicopters for SAR, ASW and light utility tasks.
This set of repaints resembles a "What if" Dutch version of the Bell UH-1C. What if the RNLN purchased a line of Bell UH-1 Charlies beside the fleet of Bravos.
in order to support the Dutch Royal Marines. With this line of helicopters maintained in service at other Marines/occupied locations in that timeframe they
would have been seen at NAS Valkenburg and NAS De Kooy in the mid and late 70's.
These liveries have nose art (Marines deployment to the Korean conflict in the 50's), pointing back to the rich history of one of the oldest marine corps
units in the world (since 1665).

This airport update was made with the latest version of ADE (Airport Design Editor) and made for FSX as a replacement for the stock (default) airport. I found that most stock airports in FSX lack a decent amount of character and realism and I've tried to fix that a little bit. This airport in particular had no commercial aircraft parking at all. I've added plenty of parking for GA aircraft as well as some hangars around the GA aprons. I've redone the main terminal to match the shape of the current terminal complete with the 3 jetways the airport terminal has. There's parking for regional aircraft and GA on the main apron as well. Small touches like vehicles in the parking lot and service vehicles and crates on the apron and birds in the vicinity of the airport add a little bit more depth to what was a rather bland stock airport. Happy landings in Honduras!

YCRW Crawley Bay USAF Catalina Base - QANTAS base (Historic 1942). This location was where the famous double sunrise flights left for Lake Koggala in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) between 1943 and 1946. Suited to Rick Stone's PBY5A Catalina. The USAF used the north side of the point and QANTAS used what is now the boat ramp at Nedlands. Remember, Perth was only about two or three stories high in those days so for a realistic enactment, totally overload the aircraft (towards the front) and just point between the buildings until you gain some height. To cover the distance, cruise at about 110kts and 500 feet. Don't forget the passengers stand at the front on takeoff and can be seated after you are in the air. In Italy the poltical situation is very caotic! what is better of an exotic place for a time of relax? :-) With this scenery, I wanted to recreate as much as possible the area of the airport "Fascene" located in Nosy Be Island in Madagascar. To do it, i used the srtm mesh Madagsacar by Mr Jean laurent gabriel that you will find already in the scenery. If you have already installed these meshes need to remove them. The scenery, faithfully recreates the terminal, and therefore there is a generic airport using the Bgl Mr. Visan. for the rest, using the real video and real photo, I tried to recreate the atmosphere of the island, which is certainly very exciting to work with a landing jetliner. If so you're tired of the usual ILS landing in mega hub of Europe, a nice Visual land in Nosy Be, is for you!

This version of Arviat corrects the VASI position on the runway, and also updates the taxiway edge lights to a newer and smaller version which is more realistically sized. This is a complete version and does not require you to have installed the old version. You can just replace the existing .bgl's and the existing textures in the scenery and texture folders if you already have this scenery. Arviat is a small town on the west coast of Hudson Bay in Nunavut, around 90 miles south of Whale Cove, 130 miles south of Rankin Inlet, and 160 miles north of Churchill. The airfield is just south of the town, and the 4,000 feet of gravel runway is aligned 149T/329T, as these are true bearings and not magnetic, as Arviat is just inside the Northern Domestic Airspace zone. There is 100LL fuel available in drums, with 2 hours prior notice. The visiting AI airline is Calm Air, plus a cargo delivery by Buffalo Air.
