Beaver DHC-2 Avionics Upgrade for the 2D and VC Panels

File Description:
Having spent significant amounts of time flying in the less-hospitable territories in the FS world such as Alaska and the Canadian Northern Territories, I've grown fond of the more rugged and capable aircraft which operate in these areas. The DHC-2 is the workhorse of the North. Granted, modern times have introduced aircraft with turbo-powered airframes and all sorts of electronic gadgetry to enhance airborne capabilities, but I cannot think of a single plane flying in these areas today which could fly safely with zero batteries and fuel. The DHC-2 is a rock, and it was for this reason that I found it both fit and suitable to upgrade the already-included Bendix/King suite with a 2-axis autopilot, a fuel burn status gauge (worth its weight in gold in Alaska and Canada), and a red-light nighttime digital OAT gauge. REQUIRES THE AEROSOFT BEAVER DHC-2 FOR FS2004/FS9.

An EZ Object Library of the Helicopter Landing Trainer (HLT) by David Sreet. The model is based upon a real training vessel which is stationed at Pensacola Florida. This ship can be placed in your scenery using the EZ or Instant Scenery Object Placing programs. My thanks to Mr. Street for granting permission to compile and upload this library. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the easy installation instructions. Note: The deck of this ship is not hardened so you cannot land a Helicopter on it. To harden the deck, please download - afc_hard.zip -. This is an Illustrated Tutorial which shows how to easily harden such surfaces using the Afcad program. USAAF B-24J 448th BG 8th AAF 'Back to the Sack'

File Description:
This B-24J-1-DT 42-51288 was produced at the Douglas Tulsa, Oklahoma plant. It was assigned to the 713th Bomb Sqdn, 448th Bomb Group, 8th AAF. It flew out of Station 146, Seething, Norfolk, UK. Its scheme is typical of later 1944 markings in the Second Air Division. Textures only, requires the Alpha Sim payware aircraft
