Doherty's Difficult and dangerous Approaches - Vol 1 Download

File Description:
FS 2004 Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches - Volume 1. I am constantly amazed by the high number of simers that restrict their flying activities to small localized areas, never venturing much further than their own backyards. I can't help thinking that they miss out on some truly great flying experiences by confining themselves to such limited parameters. If nothing else, Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches will get you out more! Whether you are simply a local pilot flying within your own well-worn neighbourhood, or a demanding adventurous international aviator, there's something for everyone in these volumes. For the new simer I have included some very easy approaches, and for the army of case-hardened veterans who think they have seen and done it all - let me tell you now - you haven't! I'll introduce you to approaches that will leave you absolutely flabbergasted - and may I add, begging for more! Each volume contains (10) difficult and dangerous approaches which are set up for you – all you have to do is fly them! I have also included a special ~ (STAR) ~ approach in each volume - which is a gem of an approach that will thrill and amaze you. If you've always wanted to know where all the difficult and dangerous approaches could be found in MSFS 2004, but never new where to look, I've discovered them all - and now I'm sharing them with you. Check out Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches - by Michael Doherty - you won't be disappointed.

De Havilland DH89A Dragon Rapide - G-AHAG - Four Repaints Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
These four repaints are of G-AHAG from various times in her career. This is from the freeware Dave Garwood model of the DH89, an aircraft that I thoroughly recommend you to download if you have not. G-AHAG was built in 1945 as one of 335 Dominies built by Loughborough based Brush Coachbuilders. She was owned by Blackburn aircraft of Brough. I have included one of its liveries from this spell in this package. She then did a spell at the original Scillonia airways, being painted in the livery promoting Scenic Flights, another one that I have included in this package. After Scillonia Airways ceased operations in 1969, she was sold and subsequently leased to The Army Parachuting Association. Here, she was painted in the orange livery included. However, there only appears to be one photo online of her in this livery, from 1975, after being unofficially written off, following an incident involving someone ending up in the radio bay after jumping from a Britten-Norman Islander above. I have used this photo as a basis for the livery, so it may be incorrect. After a very lengthy rebuild of 30 years at Membury Airfield in Berkshire, she was repainted in a scheme based on the original Scillonia Airways livery. This is the fourth repaint included in this pack. Repaint by Adam Loader Model by Dave Garwood (Available for free download from Classic British Flight Sim and Avsim)

Middle East Carrier Operations (MECOPS) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:

This scenery has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It
has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration , but compatibility is not
guaranteed by the author.
The scenery includes: Two carrier groups CVN68 and CVN69, ( carrier models from Javier Fernandez ), two AI KC-135 tanker aircraft, AI F-18A aircraft approaching the carrier, Navy destroyer and a Navy Cruiser as escort ships for the carrier, a number of oil platforms and the ARS4 radar gauge which displays air targets and boat targets.
The ARS4 radar gauge provides also a auto landing function for the carrier and a auto tracking function for aircraft in order to support a A2A re-fueling. The scenery package includes as well the program Arrcab, developed by Richard Hogan, and the RCBCO gauge developed by Rob Barendregt. Arrcab or RCBCO are required to support a catapult start from a carrier and the cable arrestor function for a carrier landing.
This is not a load and fly package. Please take your time to read the included documentation for the ARS4 gauge and the MECOPS scenery carefully. Do not skip chapters because you may think, they are not important for you.
Do not start the installation of the scenery before you have finished the reading of the documents.
For copyrights and credits please look at the documentation for this scenery.

HCMM - Mogadishu International Airport, Mogadishu/Petrella, Somalia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for HCMM Mogadishu/Petrella, the capital airport of Somalia. Astonishingly, in Flight Simulator 2004 this international airport is depicted as little more than a runway! Whilst in the real world the airport can hardly be described as busy, it is served by the country's sole airline - Jubba Airways, with their wonderful Ilyushin IL-18, and many African and Eastern European operators call by with cargo flights. In fact, the vast proportion of the aircraft seen here are Russian-built.

These scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight Simulator's limited representation and allow "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. But do watch out for cars on the runway and taxiways as they appear to be regularly used as a by-pass to the perils of driving through the city!

The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing.
You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

Beech King Air C90B Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Beechcraft King Air C90B for FS9 This is a series of repaints for Dee Waldron's King Air C90B. I have recently revised the textures, adding details and shadowing thanks to Henry Tomkiewicz' AI paint kits. There are 12 repaints in this file. Screen shots are enclosed. I have also included a paint kit. The visual model, aircraft configuration file and air files are included. This aircraft, and other members of the King Air family are projects Dee and I worked together on some years ago. The textures are newly refreshed. I have many hours happily flying these aircraft. Dee's model is very sparing of resources. This aircraft may be used as an AI aircraft or a fully flyable aircraft. As far as panels and sounds, I've left this to the user. The stock Microsoft King Air is an obvious starting point. Pierre Fasseux has designed three alternatives to the default panel, which represent a better choice. Leon Medado has created a very good freeware alternative to the default sounds. These are all available in the Flightsim.com library. Instructions: Unzip into a separate folder. Move the folder named labeled Dee Waldron King Air C90B into your FS9 folder. Add panel and sound of your choice. These files are provided on an as-is basis. I have tested them and have found them to work as intended. Michael Verlin [email protected] January 29, 2015

File Description:
Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V. (KLM Royal Dutch Airlines), known by its initials KLM, is the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands. KLM's headquarters is in Amstelveen near its hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. KLM operates worldwide scheduled passenger and cargo services to more than 90 destinations. It is the oldest airline in the world still operating under its original name. The merger of KLM with Air France in May 2004 created Air France-KLM, which is incorporated under French law with headquarters at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. Both Air France and KLM continue to fly under their distinct brand names. Air France-KLM is part of the SkyTeam alliance. KLM's livery is painted on TDS's Boeing 737-700 model (included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more. RAF Wittering 1990 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Wittering was opened as an RAF station in 1924, but flying here started way back in 1916 with the Royal Flying Corps.
Initially the Central Flying School was based here from 1926 until 1935. During World War 2, Wittering was a part of 12 Group, which was responsible for the defence of the Midlands. The station took on a nuclear responsibility in 1956 with the arrival of the V-Force Valiants, and later Victor bombers. Because of this, the runway was increased in length. After the V-Bombers left, the station took on the mantle of Home of the Harrier, a title it carried with it from 1969, until the stations closure in 2010.

This scenery is made up of various library objects, using ScruffyDuck's ADE9X, to make a close representation of the base, as opposed to being factually accurate. Brian has incorporated most of the extra runways and representations of deck landing areas that were used at Wittering for V/STOL training - these runways are not active, but may still obviously be used for taking off and landing yourself. Also included are repaints of John Young's Harrier GR3/T4 AI model, available from flightsim.com. These represent the aircraft of No.1(F) Squadron and No.233 OCU, during 1989-90. There are also a set of representative flightplans to allow the Harriers to fly "typical" missions and flights.
