Not long ago I decided to create my own fictional livery for the Turbo Commander and with help and skills of my friend Achmad Aswandana,what you have before you is the result.Its a simple livery and because it's fictional you are not tied to carrier specific routes.You can fly it anywhere,anytime. The textures have a "dirty" look which is how I imagine a hard-working light cargo variant of the aircraft might look. For "clean" textures that reflect the aircraft in Private Charter/VIP mode check out iona690cl.zip also available from Avsim.

The Farallon Islands, which are approx. 28 miles due West of San Francisco, will now show on your Airport Menu and in Map View. ICAO code KFIS. Al Udeid AB in Qatar is the most technologically advanced military base in the world and boasts the longest runway in the Persian Gulf region. It was built at the cost of more than a billion dollars and has since replaced Prince Sultan AB as the US nerve center in the region. Al Udeid is home of the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing which hosts several squadrons of aircraft from the US, UK, and Australia. Created using satellite photos and various other photos. Includes some simple flightplans to add some activity to the base.

Radio Range System - Version 4.0 Adaptation for MAAM-SIM R4D-6/DC-3A/C-47

Complements the latest version of the Radio Range System (rr40.zip, released 6th May, 2007) developed by Allan Greene, Dave Bitzer, Alex Nicolson, Norman Hancock and others, which must be installed first. This simple gauge enables the Radio Range System to be used with the Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations' R4D-6/DC-3A/C-47 aircraft, by enabling the relevant switches on the Audio Panel. Flight Time Calculator International

File Description:
This very visual program allows you to calculate (when flying in IFR) your flight time quickly according to the wind speed/direction, your plane heading and speed and the flight distance. You can switch between kilometric and nautic miles system with the right button of the mouse anywhere in the window. Everything is calculated on the fly. Very simple program but handy because it tells you all you need to know about your flight time. Version 1.5.0 features: # The plane drift displayed was the maximum drifting and not the real drifting. Both are calculated now.

Sriwijaya Air Summer 2005

File Description:
Based on week : 17th- 23rd August 2005 100% of flights included.(Domestic.They don't fly any international) It was very difficult to compile these FPs because I could not find any information at all. So, I decided to track down, day by day, the departures from SOEKARNO-HATTA arpt, through their "Real Time Flight Schedule" in internet,which is updated almost every 15 minutes. I had to make also some very simple new ficticious AFCADS or some minor modifications to the existing ones, just for the needs of the FPs.

CVB2 Voisey's Bay Airstrip, Newfoundland

File Description:
Simple scenery for the new private airstrip of the Voisey's Bay Nickel Company Ltd., who are mining the massive nickel resources recently discovered in the region between Anaktalak Bay and Voisey's Bay, Newfoundland, about 20 miles southwest of Nain. Scenery includes the airstrip with Afcad2 file (AI ready), the surrounding lakes and ponds, and a very basic rendition of the concentrator facility on Camp Pond, made with default FS9 buildings and landclass. Built as a special request for Kevin Pardy and the guys at Premier Aircraft Design. Tested with default FS9 mesh and landclass only!

Pure VFR Tutorial Flight

File Description:
This is a simple tutorial flight using a road map and the view out of the windscreen as the only one navigational aid. The entire flight is step by step explained in the manual, even the correct engine and mixture handling. The flight was generated with "Flight Trip Chooser 1.0", a good chance to have a look at this tool. The package includes the saved flight for MSFS 2004 starting with a cold a dark cockpit of the Cessna 172SP and the weather file containing the real weather from October 3rd 2004.
