I was flying around the FSX world looking for a real world sloping airstrip just begging to be modeled with a touchdown tire squealing, smoking rubber - that kind of hardened surface sloping runway after I finally figured out how to persuade the FSX SDK to compile one. The Airfield Candidate shall have high density LiDAR elevation and high resolution Orthoimagery data available for public download. I was flying a Beechcraft Baron 58 over Wanaque Reservoir in Northeast NJ of all places when I happened upon a photo scenery runway on a sloping hill top without the usual FSX flattened airport plateau effect and FSX textured runway. Since my jet views where such a big hit I have made a props version for you all too. I have changed the default camera positions on the FSX default C172, C208B, Baron 58, King Air 350, Bravo, Maule, Piper J3, Extra 300, Goose G21A, Beaver DHC2, Douglas DC3 and whilst I was at it, the Aircreation 582SL. The new views include an improved wing view looking from the aircraft down the wing and also a realistic cabin view using the VC's right seat view. It took me hours of trial and error! I hope you all enjoy the new positions;) All credit to Microsoft as I have simply edited their data.

What I miss the most into a lot of FS Aircraft is the smart "click" of the switches. That's the reason of this gauge. It works with most of the switches of the default FS airplanes, but also with most of add-ons (free or pay) that use default xml code. You will hear a nice "click" for battery, gen, avionics, lights, pitot, etc... But also a small "tictictic" when selecting VOR/NDB direction, a big "clang" when putting the parking brake, and a light "sblug" when selecting a fuel tank. The sounds are suitable for general aviation airplane, like C172, Baron, Beaver that have metal switches. Not suitable for jetliners. By Daniel Gauthier.

Panel Icon for use with Airport Chart Viewer Program - with an illustrated installation guide. This package provides a panel icon for use with the fine program by Holger Maass - apchart.zip. Because it is listed in the FSX category here in the library, many may not be aware the program works well in FS2004 also. I have created this panel icon to easily invoke the Chart Viewer while flying. No programming knowledge is required. The icon can be added to vitually any panel and setups for the default Beech Baron 58 and B737-400 are included. Please unzip this package to a temporary folder and follow the instructions. The guide has been compiled in .DOC and .PDF formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.

File Description:
In this challenge you need to pack a lunch with you. There are some long hauls in this challenge and you start at night with with your light fully on. You will have to get above 3000 feet quickly to keep for hitting the egde of the mountain.
For this challenge you will need to use the Beechcrafts King Air, Baron 58, Cessna C182S Skylane, and Mooney Bravo. These are the only aircrafts you can use for this challenge. I have included a NAV Log so you know what airfield to fly to. You are going deep into the Amazon Jungle and then from there into Paraguay where the challenge dont stop there. So get ready for some fun and Oh watch the tree top when you land.

This file is for WestWind pilots ONLY. This file adds WestWind Airlines aircraft to your A/I traffic and flightplans. Flights are CONUS only, no OS flights. Feel free to add your own OS flights. You must have TTools by Lee Swordy, you must also have the Airbus 380, MD-83, B-747-400, ERJ-145XR, Beech 1900D, ATR 42-300, B-757-200, A-330-200, and the Baron 58 Repaint. All aircraft are downloadable from the WestWind website. You must be a WestWind Member. Make sure to read my instructions completely before beginning. Now you can fly any aircraft you wish, and you will see and hear WestWind flights taking off and landing at your airports.
