File Description: Take a break and enjoy Sunday afternoon in the park. This high resolution mesh demonstrates the amount of detail FS2002 is able to display. But you will not see any improvement in the park if you are still using the default value of TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19 (in the [TERRAIN] section) of your fs2002.cfg file! This value is adequate for the default mesh, but will not display all the additional detail available in mesh constructed from 30m or better source data. I recommend a value of 21 for the most detail, but a value of 20 may be preferable if FPS is a serious problem. Hop in your favorite helicopter, depart from La Guardia (KLGA) airport, and head west toward the city. (If you are new to helicopters, set your Aircraft realism to Easy and turn off Crash Detection while getting started - and relax in this scenic park!)

Eurocopter EC-505 Tiger, for FS2004 (INFO: FREEWARE - previewversion: limited detail and without virtual cockpit) TIGER HAP The Tiger HAP is an air-to-air combat and fire support medium-weight (6 tonnes) helicopter fitted with 2 MTR 390 engines. It is daytime and night combat capable and is operable in NBC environments. Three basic parameters were taken into account right from the start of the development phase: low (visual, radar and infrared) detectability, which provides excellent survivability on the battlefield, maximum efficiency of the weapons and the associated fire control systems without heavier workload for the crew, and an optimized logistic concept offering minimum possession costs. The Tiger HAP is fitted with a 30-mm gun turret; 68-mm submunition rockets, and air-to-air Mistral missiles. It also features a firing sight with 3 sensors: infrared, TV camera and direct optical channel. The complete avionics suite includes multi-purpose color displays and radar/laser warning receivers. Calcinate del Pesce is a small gliders airport placed on Varese lake, approx 25 miles north-west Milan Italy, closed to the Prealpi hills. North of the hills around you can find towers and observer of Campo dei Fiori meteo station. The airport is also base of Elilombarda, helicopter-rescue. Contents: Grass runway placed approx on the real coordinates, with ILS and taxi ways; five different hangars and fast food on the entrance; 10 gliders parked on the ground, several glider boxes all around the airport; a lot of trees around the scenery and lights on parking, gliders and road areas; wind sign, static Cessna, fuel station, people and cars; bird storm floating in the air; complete fences on all the airport perimeter with opening gate; two helicopters on ground and a Coca Cola balloon; small pier in the lake with dinghy; Varese open footbal stadium, close sport building and cathedral (fiction); Campo dei Fiori fantasy scenery with observe and comunication towers

File Description:
Bernard Harbour was a DEW line "iStation" (a small station with a staff of 5 or 7 people) on the nothern mainland coast 75 miles north of Kugluktuk, and 45 miles west of Lady Franklin Point. It closed in 1963. The slowly deteriorating buildings are still there, along with a fallen radio communications mast. The runway is also still there and has 3,040 feet of gravel, aligned 122T/302T. There is now no runway lighting, no signage, no windsock, and the bushes growing amid the gravel are winning, though slowly. In 1991 a North Warning System (NWS) automated station was established 3 miles to the southwest and there is a second smaller runway there (1,450 feet) along with a helicopter pad. A road joins the two sites for when diesel resupply is undertaken from a ship in the summer, and the zigzag route is (in reality) dictated by the numerous ponds that are too small to be picked up by Ultimate Terrain.

Italian scenery with water runway and some existing objects and other buildings sintax generated; Information: Como is a beautiful town on the Como lake, north Italy, closed to the Swiss border. In the hills outside the town you can find Baradello old fortification (S) and Brunate small village (E). The lake, also called Lario, has a wonderful landscapes, reachable with battles of Navigazione Lago di Como. Description and content: Water runway placed approx on the real coordinates. | Leeuwarden Airbase 'EHLW' V2.0 |

File Description:
Detailed and accurate yet framerate friendly scenery for the Leeuwarden Airbase also known as "Fighter town Europe". (ICAO designation EHLW). Leeuwarden is one of the two Main Operating bases (MOB) of the F-16 fleet. It has two F-16 squadrons (322 & 323) and one SAR squadron which flies the AB412SP helicopter. The annual exercises Frisian Flag, DWIC en FWIT are held on this airbase. The following items are changed/new with version 2. Added new ILS for rwy 09/27 (This is ILS installation from Twente AB, which will be closed), including new ILS glide slope antennas for 09/27 and localizer antennas for all runways. Added barrier's to the runways, tuning in the ILS freq will put the cable up at the end of the runway! Upgrade and cleanup of the texture to improve frame rate. Optimalization of macro's to reduce polygon resulting a slightly higher frame rate. Also now included an AFCAD file. Scenery is compatible with default scenery and the NL2000 scenery.

Aerospatiale AS-332C1 Super Puma is the new SAR helicopter used by the Hellenic Armed Forces. This is a repaint presenting an Aerospatiale AS-332C1 Super Puma in SAR (Search And Rescue) mode in service with 358th Sqdr. of Hellenic Air Force based at Elefsina, Greece. These helicopters are flying on SAR operations to save people in danger all over the Aegean sea and Greek islands. They are equiped with the latest navigational aids and autopilot systems which will allow automatic transitions and hover. This package is fully compatible with FS2K2 and it contains sound, checklist, and a VERY completed (29 pages) aircraft handbook/manual which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. I also create (starting by "zero"...) a realistic panel based on real photos and diagrams! This repaint was based on the original model made by Dirk Fassbender. This "AS-332C1_HAF_v1.zip" package contains full visual effects, night lighting, etc. By Nick Karatzides.

Agusta A-109E POWER is the ambulance helicopter used by Hellenic Medical Service (EKAB) in Greece. This repaint is presenting an Agusta A-109E POWER in medevac mode in service with the flying doctors of EKAB. These helicopters are flying within Hellenic Aerospace on any emergency situations. Unfortunately, three major aviation accidents happened in the last 2 years, involving these helicopters! All passengers and crew was killed. This "A-109E_EKAB_v1.zip" package is fully compatible with FS2K2 and it was created as an honor to the men & women flying doctors of EKAB Hellenic Medical Service of Greece who fly to save injured people or patients in danger all over the Aegean sea and Greek islands. It contains checklist, and a VERY completed aircraft handbook/manual which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. I've also create (starting by "zero"...) a realistic panel based on real photos and diagrams. This repaint was based on the original model made by Navin Bopitiya.

Agusta Bell AB-205 is an utility multy purpose helicopter used by Hellenic Armed Forces. This is a "double" repaint presenting not only one, but TWO Agusta Bell AB-205 in service with 2nd TEAS (Army Aviation Batalion) of Hellenic Army Aviation based at Megara, Greece. These helicopters are flying with Hellenic Army on troop airborne operations and other utility roles. Hellenic Army's AB-205s are not painted with a standard way. You can find them VietNam type camouflaged or painted with NATO olive drab pattern or even black! This "AB-205_HA_v1.zip" package is fully compatible with FS2K2 and it contains sound, panel, checklist, and a VERY completed aircraft handbook/manual which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. This "double" repaint was based on the original model made by Jordan Moore and Lynn Rogers. I also create (starting by "zero"...) a realistic panel based on real photos and diagrams! This "AB-205_HA_v1.zip" package contains visual effects, night lighting, etc.

| Southeast Farallon Islands Version 3 |

File Description:
Complete download: Surf height fix. Also new island texture map. These islands were mysteriously absent from the FS2004 default scenery, probably owing to their small size. When I went to look for them I found a small mountain of water instead of the islands. Most people don't seem to be aware of the Farallon Islands. Located off the coast of California, near San Francisco, they are home to thousands of birds, seals, and some of the largest Great White sharks known to man. All of this is within a very short distance of the city. Today, it is a wildlife refuge and is off limits to visitation by the general public. Those of you interested in more info might check out "The Devil's Teeth" by Susan Casey. This island is actually a scenery object. As such it doesn't have a landable surface. Future versions will have a helicopter pad, a lighthouse, and the 100 year old houses used by researchers.
