Unfortunately, between the early 1990s and 1998, Nigeria Airways had drastically reduced it's European network, ending service to places like London and Amsterdam and disposing of most of the A310s and DC-10s. Flights to Dubai were now on a charter basis, with the DC-10 only doing a LOS-KAN-JED route once per week. The DC-10 also did maintenance in MIA, so I included a ferry flight there but it usually sits in Lagos unused. A single PW-powered A310-200 and a DC-10-30 were doing the longhaul flights while the A310s and several 737-200s were flying around Africa. There were 3 A310s stored; 2 in Lagos and one impounded in BRU(to become a cafe in 12/99) with none in flying conditions. I have them sitting idle in LOS as in real life, but since they were not in flying condition, they only do a touch and go landing once per week in the middle of the night. I will give them proper parking spots when I do the LOS ADEX eventually, but delete them if you wish. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Repaints are in the Avsim library, filenames included. | USCG Air Station Sitka PASI Scenery Package with AI Aircraft |

Thanks to Airport Design Editor(ADE), Military AI Works (MAIW) scenery and aircraft, along with AI Flight Planner3 (AIFP3), I did my best to re-create USCG Air Station Sitka for FSX. Creating this airport scenery (along with Kodiak PADQ) was my first attempt at a BIG (for me) scenery project in ADE, but thanks to MAIW and their Global Scenery Library Objects, I think I've succeeded in re-creating the airbase. You'll need to go to MAIW's website and download that "Global Scenery" file for any of this to work, so I've copied that website link below (in STEP 1). I also added Sitka markings to all the AI helicopters for added realism.
And just for fun, I placed a USCG Cutter and a "fishing boat in distress" (complete with green smoke) out in the harbor as a "Practice Rescue Scenario". The Cutter has a "hard deck" to land on and I've also illuminated both it and the Fishing boat for DUSK and NIGHT practice.
*SPECIAL NOTE* THE AI C-130 in the pictures is from my Kodiak scenery package, there are only Helicopters based at Sitka...but I have it "fly in" from my Kodiak scenery package. This is the first and only full freeware scenery released for VGHS/VGZR Dhaka, Bangladesh. This has been a work in progress since 2012, and in 2016 we decided to make it public beta for the Bangladeshi Flight Sim Community. The team wasn't able to work further on this and the project was taken over by another developer who worked alongside our team. After years of hard work, we finally were able to collaborate with Final Approach Design Simulations, and released the full and final version of this scenery for P3D V4-5, in the simMarket as payware. While the FSX version was untouched and not upgraded further, we wanted to publish it online as a freeware scenery and NO MORE A BETA TEST. We hereby have uploaded the scenery, and according to our EULA, we are HEREBY changing the clause that states it is only to be used by Bangladeshi and that it is a limited release. We HEREBY declare it a full release for FSX, and we are allowing all nationalities to use our software. We hope you enjoy this free release and if you are a P3D V4-5 user, go check out our final product in the simMarket under the title "HAZRAT SHAHJALAL DHAKA VGHS DAC P3D4-5" by "Final Approach Design Simulations".

Another selection in my Airstrips of Western Europe project, herewith 80+ small airfields in central Germany, each enhanced with taxiways, parking spaces, buildings etc. and aprons as appropriate, to further facilitate the generation of lightweight AI traffic in the area, without overloading the more major airfields.
Again, there's no photo-realism here, just a selection of basic 'generic' buildings, more or less accurately sized and placed to reflect the airfield layout as seen on on-line satellite imagery and aerial photography. These buildings have minimal effect on frame-rates, so are ideal for this kind of job. The airfields are aligned as well as possible with the roads etc. in UT Europe and the Genesis Europe mesh, but should mostly be fine in a default installation or other configuration.
As before, the files for each airfield can be easily identified by the ICAO code, even if the airfield names vary slightly, so you can pick and choose and mix and match to suit any sceneries you already have, should you so wish. There is no requirement for any other download. Each airfield will exist as a stand-alone entity should you only want a few of them.

Qatar Airways operates services across Africa, Central Asia, Europe, Far East, South Asia, Middle East, North America, South America and Oceania, and was named Airline of the Year 2011 at the Skytrax World Airline Awards. Qatar airways livery is painted on Project Airbus's Airbus A320-232(WL) model (not included). The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by HD (High Definition). Its features are idle-reverser animation, animated pack vents and pressurisation outflow valve, detailed textures, accurate paint, dynamic shine & effects, dynamic flexing wings that respond to turbulence, fully independent suspension, trim animation, gear steering, accurate flight dynamics, spoiler animation, reflective cockpit windows, improved wingflex code with input from several new parameters including ground spoilers, fuel load, and angle of attack, transparent navigation light lenses and many more.

GAMA AVIATION repaint and mods of the default fs9 Lear45,repaint was done using a paintkit by Joao Paz,which i modified,to add a bare metal leading edge,to the tailwing,and extended the fin bare metal leading edge,to the top of the fin,like some of the pics i saw on airliners.net.
Logo lights and mainwing LE ice lights have been added,the 2d main panel as been reworked,to look more life like,and some switches added.
Also included is a brief manual,to show the new switch positions,the mainwing ice & logo lights are set by default to ms standard,but there are alternate lines,that you can activate,in the aircraft & panel.cfg files,if you have the AFG kingair b300 for the lights and project fokker 10070 for a nav/gps switch,in your fs9 system,both aircraft can be found on avsim.
I have played around with the flight dynamics,which make it more flyable than the standard out of the box version,also the default lear fin strobe did not come on using the 2d panel light switch,it only came on if you pressed the l key,that i have fixed.
Also included are the two modified default schemes,to update the bare metal leading edges and panel lines and alpha channels.
All these paints are saved in 32bit for a sharper image,i have not noticed any drop in frame rates,due to these paints.

General Electric CF6-80 v2 soundpack simulating the engine type fitted on the Boeing 767.
This is a quite major rebuild of the first Boeing 767 GE soundpack I made in February 2005. I've spent a lot of time tweaking and listening to how the the engines spool-up and I think the results are quite pleasing. Soundset is matched with the flight dynamics engine to make flying a lot more enjoyble. Instead of taking off with 100% thrust to really hear the turbofan and letting the speed rocket up to 240 in seconds and then have to decrease the thrust to 30% to not pass 250knots, you now can take-off with 85-90% of thrust, make a very smooth take-off roll and controlled climb. A recommended N1 setting (thrust) is 85-90% for take-off! New features in this set: Matched to use with the Project OpenSky Boeing 767v4 family flight dynamics engine exclusively (this pack might not work correctly with other 767 planes), New spool and turbofan sound for the interior as well as the exterior, New cockpit environment, Cockpit environment can now be turned off when pushing the "Battery on/off" button (for those panels fitted with these), New interior and exterior APU (These sound kicks in when engines are turned off). File Description:
The concept and the base textures for this package are from Mark Poole and his original light replacement releases. Mark's original Nav Light package has a really good concept and uses light textures which create sharp lens flairs or bursts. I found the lens flair in his packages to be a bit too large and out of scale for my display and taste. Also, I wanted to have an easy way to replace all the FS9 lights in one shot with little or no configuration file editing. With that in mind, this package was created. This release will automatically replace ALL the Flight Simulator aircraft and airport lights with more realistic ones along with better distance visuals of slower flashing radio tower/smoke stack and ground beacons. It also includes replacement lights in scale for the PMDG 737, 747 and for all Project Opensky aircraft offered on their site. It works automatically with Ultimate Traffic and other AI add-ons which use the default Microsoft aircraft lights. I added a diffused halo effect to Mark's original airport_lighting_v2 texture which gives a more realistic look in cloudy or weather conditions and enhances the dynamic directional brightness of the lights. In addition to the navigation lights, I have also created aircraft beacons and strobes which will also install automatically . A restore package is included allowing to you to revert back to default FS9 texture and FX files.

Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies.
